From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with incredible kindness and warmth. The atmosphere is familial, welcoming, and deeply convivial. You never feel like just another customer: you truly feel like you're being invited into their home, welcomed like family friends. It's rare to find so much generosity, simplicity, and such wonderful values ​​in an establishment. And of course, the food lives up to the welcome! The ingredients are of high quality, the dishes are generous, excellent, and prepared with care. The only real problem with Le Vaffieu… is that as soon as you leave, you already want to come back to try all the other dishes on the menu! 😄 The setting is just as exceptional, with a magnificent view of the Morzine ski area and the surrounding mountains. It's the kind of place where you could easily stay for hours simply to enjoy the meal, the atmosphere, and the scenery. Another huge advantage: Le Vaffieu is very easily accessible, both in summer and winter, which means you can enjoy this superb spot no matter the season. 28/08/2026: Another fantastic time at Faux Rieux! The food is excellent, everything is delicious, and the staff is incredibly attentive. I had the Welsh rarebit with Maroilles cheese: absolutely amazing 🤤 Hearty, generous portions, and truly delicious! A great place in Ferrière-la-Grande that we always enjoy returning to. I highly recommend it!

21/07/2026: We stopped for a quick family lunch at this brasserie and weren't disappointed at all. The meal was good value for money (the portions were generous), and the welcome and service were impeccable. The only slight downside was the noise. In short, we had a great time 👍🏼

Whether on the small terrace or in the pleasant ambiance of the restaurant, some offering views of the castle, you'll be spoiled for choice when deciding which of the varied set menus or à la carte dishes to select. We opted for a three-course menu: a fresh and creamy mackerel rillette as a starter, grilled sardines with island potatoes or a tender and succulent fish fillet as main courses, and a creamy crème brûlée or a melt-in-the-mouth chocolate mousse served in a dark chocolate dish. We were absolutely delighted. The service was friendly and the prices reasonable. It's a shame this restaurant is so far from where we live.

03/10/2026: What a lovely surprise! We went to dinner at Les Acacias. The welcome was perfect, the atmosphere warm, and the dishes were wonderful—the presentation, the taste, and the owner's kindness were all exceptional. This restaurant is a little gem worth discovering.
