17/05/2026: A very pleasant stay at Camille and Simon's inn. A very warm welcome from the hotel and restaurant staff. The meal was delicious, featuring local and homemade products. It's right next to a beautiful lake, with lovely walks to enjoy. A peaceful place.

All the employees have their hair tied back, so they don't spend their time fixing it or running their hands through it like in other bakeries in Pornic, or blowing their noses with yesterday's tissues while serving you bread. In short, true professionals.

08/06/2026: Food was serviceable but really did not appreciate the implication at the end that we were expected to tip (also misidentifying us as American) and, when told the amount of tip, entering the wrong (higher) number into the machine, which was only noticed after the bill was settled.

29/05/2026: Second visit here this month, this time for lunch. The restaurant is nicely air-conditioned (not too cold either), which is very pleasant in this heat. A delicious meal with very fresh oysters as a starter and sole prepared right in front of you as a main course. In short, highly recommended.

15/06/2026: The true essence of a workers' cafeteria. Since I had to travel to another area, I left the city center early in the morning to arrive right at opening time. The woman in charge of pastries smiled and kindly explained everything from the restaurant's history and style to menu recommendations. I came here because I wanted to visit a place frequented only by real locals, without any foreigners. Since I live far away, I don't know when my next visit will be, but I will definitely plan a trip to Lyon just to come here. Every dish was straightforward yet truly delicious. The portions were very generous; it was difficult for two people to finish two appetizers and two main courses so early in the morning, but they were so good that we somehow managed to eat it all. Even then, what other people ordered looked incredibly appetizing. It seemed like those were the main dishes of the day. It seemed like there weren't many lunch options available at such an early hour, but I have absolutely no complaints. The mini baba and digestifs made for a perfect finish. I hope they stay in business for a long time. It's the best! 😍

08/05/2026: During a long weekend in the area, we stopped for lunch at this lovely little restaurant. One person was managing everything, and despite only about ten tables, the service and the food were excellent, with perfect timing. We highly recommend it. 😊😊😊

09/06/2026: This bakery is smaller than the other Ange bakeries in Angers. There seems to be slightly less hoox (a type of pastry) and the reception area is smaller. But otherwise, they are very welcoming.

06/06/2026: Dirty table, too many staff, not one person to clean or clear the tables; they preferred to chat amongst themselves. Customers had to clear and clean their own tables before they could sit down. Shameful.
