02/02/2026: Hello, Despite the emotion of entering such a historic and listed historical monument, there were a few regrettable issues. One of the lampshades on our round table, right at the entrance to the restaurant near the small bar, was torn, and I noticed another one further along. The toilet brush is missing its handle. I was told this was because the establishment had been booked for a private birthday party the day before. We arrived at 1:45 PM as planned, and most of the other customers had left before us. The tables hadn't been cleared; the plates were removed, of course, and then, a little while later, the glasses. The stained tablecloths remained for a very long time, with napkins lying loose all around us. Our server finally removed them after about 20 minutes and put new, folded tablecloths on the tables. It was unpleasant. Finally, the gougères were dry and the edges were crisp. They should be more melt-in-your-mouth. On the other hand, I'm delighted with the book I bought about this legendary place. 01/02/2026: The setting is splendid and unique, the service very professional and friendly, and the food was decent. But the live music, my friends! No, don't do that. It makes the whole thing feel very touristy. If only it had a Belle Époque ambiance with Parisian songs, in keeping with the setting, but this jazzy mix rather ruins the atmosphere and turns this magical place into something ordinary. What a shame. But overall, it was still a lovely evening.

13/01/2026: We stayed there for a few days at the end of December. The hotel was very nice and quiet, and by walking a little further you can find all the oyster farmers offering you a platter of oysters by the water. A welcoming hotel.

13/01/2026: A very nice hotel offering around thirty rooms, including some family rooms. We stayed with our three children. The room was a large duplex, nicely decorated, with a very comfortable king-size bed and three single beds on a mezzanine. It had a sea view and a small terrace. The bathroom had a shower. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, featuring regional products. The location is ideal, just a 5-minute drive from the main beach of Carnac. The manager personally welcomes you, except for late arrivals (key box), but remains available if needed. In short, a welcoming establishment that we highly recommend.

05/01/2025: A beautiful inn with lots of promises and quality local products, a service provided by two young waitresses full of good will, just lacking the consideration of the owners, the table was not ready when we arrived, reservation for 11 people…., the dishes were not served at the same time and the desserts…., chocolate mousse not of the day or too much of the day….?? And not a word from the boss to know if we are satisfied…. In short, hostel also rhymes with sympathy…., too bad….

05/01/2026: Disastrous welcome. Passing through with two children, I politely asked if it was possible to have lunch. The white-haired woman replied, "If you haven't made a reservation, it's impossible. I have other things to do; I'm busy." Quite shocked by this reception, especially since several other people were being admitted directly, I pointed out that I hadn't been aggressive. Back at the car, my stunned friend said, "I'll go see for myself." The reception was just as overbearing, with the owner remaining completely unresponsive. I suspect a smile was reserved for regulars. Thank you, we won't be back.

12/11/2025: A wonderful discovery in a charming little village. The owners are lovely and the food is excellent! Kudos to the chef. Thank you for a lovely evening. Go without hesitation.

28/09/2025: 5 stars for this incredible salmon pizza! The quality of the salmon was exceptional, the cream was light and fragrant, and the dough was perfectly crispy. The service was also very pleasant, the gentleman who served us was very kind and attentive. I really enjoyed myself! I highly recommend this pizzeria for lovers of salmon and good food. Come try it, you won't be disappointed!

21/10/2025: Passing through Matha, we hadn't booked and a waiter found us a place for 4 even though the restaurant was already full. For the price we ate well, plentiful, simple and good. Too bad I don't come back more often! Good atmosphere, clean place and pleasant staff.

24/11/2025: On a (very) rainy Sunday evening, we decided to eat at La Petite Auberge, without too many expectations… But the warm welcome from the owners alone told us we were in for a wonderful time. They only cook with high-quality, exceptional local produce, from the aperitifs to the herbal teas, and of course, the main courses. I'm very particular about what I want on my plate, and I can assure you that La Petite Auberge passed the test with flying colors! All joking aside, it's unpretentious cuisine, excellent ingredients, and I think a lot of love goes into every dish. Thank you, and I wish you every success in your endeavors!

10/11/2025: Excellent traditional Breton cuisine made with high-quality local produce! The inn may not look like much, but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal; a wonderful time spent with family!

01/07/2025: We arrived here at 1pm ( closes at 2) and despite many free tables, we were told we could not have lunch here- EXTREMELY rude waitress who spoke to us whilst continuing to look at her computer. We visited here many years ago & had a wonderful time- shame about this girl front of house- most unwelcoming

24/06/2025: Inhospitable treatment. Not welcome for lunch with 5 people at 12.00. No idea why not. We were on time and the menu board was outside. Maybe because we are not French? Really bad.
