24/11/2025: I had a good time at La Route Bleue, even though the experience left me with mixed feelings. The food is clearly the restaurant's strong point: the dishes are well-crafted, beautifully presented, and demonstrate genuine culinary vision. You can feel the chef's creativity and desire to offer something different. The setting is pleasant, modern, and welcoming, and the overall ambiance is refined. However, a few details slightly detracted from the experience. The service remains professional, but frankly lacks warmth (is a simple smile an extra charge? I wonder...). Furthermore, when customers ask questions or make comments, even politely, the waitresses often respond with a closed-off attitude or a hint of irritation. For me, this doesn't fit with the advertised bistronomic spirit.

08/01/2026: A wonderful time at the farm, a lovely atmosphere, and our waitress Virginie was always fantastic, always smiling and full of joie de vivre, just the way we like it.

06/01/2026: Open 7 days a week with extended hours in both summer and winter. FDJ tobacconist and games shop, and food and drink available every lunchtime and also in the evening during peak season. Highly recommended.

03/12/2025: A very good brasserie-style restaurant. The dishes are traditional and comforting. The setting is simple and the service is quick. The prices are reasonable.

14/01/2026: Never disappointed during my visits between 2018 and 2024: a neighborhood atmosphere and a guaranteed trip to a "New York Delicatessen." Burgers, meat... everything is good! Likewise, the butcher shop and Ali's service are top-notch. I went back in 2026; it's still good, but for me, I prefer the old version and staff.

31/12/2025: The quality of the dishes is superb. Very nice portions are served. The staff is truly charming, very friendly and always available. The products, from the butcher's side, are also of very good quality. In short, the quality is there, the staff is great and the prices reasonable. I recommend it.

31/01/2026: We were extremely disappointed with our experience at the Hippopotamus in Roques last night (January 30th). The service was catastrophic from beginning to end: • Appetizers were served after the main courses. • Our daughter's chicken nuggets arrived 20 minutes after our main courses—great for a family meal… • A dessert advertised as roasted apples arrived completely raw. I sent the dessert back, and then… they brought me the exact same thing, with just a quick blast of a blowtorch on the apples to make it look like they were. Of course, they were still just as raw. It was bordering on disrespectful. The icing on the cake: the manager (who looked like anything but a manager) came over to our table and loudly announced, “Okay, what's wrong?” in front of everyone. His customer service was beyond poor, his tone inappropriate, and he showed absolutely no self-reflection. It's all the more regrettable because we used to be regulars and the staff was excellent before. But this is a freefall. We'll never set foot in that place again. One star because we can't give it zero.

16/12/2023: After calling to book and confirming that an hour would be enough to eat, the response received was: starter/main course/dessert no but main course or main course/dessert no problem. Arrived on site 10 minutes to wait to be placed, once placed 20 minutes to wait for the order to be taken only to be told that 30 minutes will not be enough. Result 10min journey, 30min wait and 10min return journey for nothing and no time to eat elsewhere.. The restaurant is nice, the food looks good and the 2 members of staff seem pleasant but there is a severe lack of staff for the number of people in the room, it's a shame I won't have the opportunity or the desire to go back there.
