23/06/2026: Fantastic food, I haven't even paid and I don't really care how much its going to cost, the friendliest and welcoming staff, food to die for and drink on tap, highly recommend. Hopefully I'll be back if not tomorrow the next time im in Paris

15/06/2026: Very nice bar with a good atmosphere. The platters are generous and reasonably priced for Paris. However, the focaccia is a rip-off (9 euros for two small pieces).

18/03/2026: A very pleasant romantic stay, perfect location, no need for a car, private parking, the room was a little more expensive because of the lake view but magnificent 😍 Impeccable cleanliness, a fairly large spa, very welcoming staff, delicious food at the restaurant, generous breakfast, and a very good, high-quality casino show. In short, we will gladly return!

15/03/2026: Friendly welcome, clean and comfortable room. The only downside was the hotel restaurant: very low-quality food, mediocre meat, ridiculous burger, far too expensive for a Saturday night with such poor-quality ingredients.

14/06/2026: We came yesterday, and it was far too hot in the dining room! The tartares were spicy, with way too much seasoning. The burger wasn't great either. However, the desserts and the appetizer were very good. The waitress' gesture of goodwill towards our disappointment with the tartares was much appreciated (a complimentary coffee). We still had a pleasant experience.

04/06/2026: We went there by chance. And it was a lucky find! A superb, very friendly place. And the food? The sirloin steak was excellent. The andouillette sausage was succulent, and my husband had the steak tartare twice, on Wednesday and Thursday. The desserts were absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly attentive. We highly recommend it.

01/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at the Vieux Chalet, the fondue was excellent.

22/04/2026: A very nice restaurant, the starters are very good (egg trio, reblochon croquettes), and the specialties such as the fondue are also very good! The waiter is very pleasant and professional.

19/04/2026: The hotel is advertised as 3 stars and the restaurant as 2 stars, but this should be reversed. The menus, while a bit pricey, were worthy of a top-tier restaurant, with impeccable service. However, the twin room we had in the annex, while very clean with comfortable beds, was too basic for a 3-star hotel. There was no welcome tray, not even a small bottle of water and glasses. We had to use the cardboard cups from the bathroom. The bedside lamp didn't work, there was a tiny TV, and only one chair. Otherwise, the welcome was very warm, and the hotel is situated in a beautiful park.

11/04/2026: I went to the Hermitage for dinner. Great location, pleasant setting, efficient staff. The dishes are generous, the only slight complaint is that they are a little too salty, but that's a personal opinion.

08/07/2026: I had a great time at the Pare-Faim restaurant. The food was very good. I recommend it 100%.

05/07/2026: Great meal with friends for the evening. "All-you-can-eat ribeye steak," we thoroughly enjoyed it. Very pleasant service, lovely team.

18/05/2026: A warm welcome, a spacious, cozy, and comfortable room. Excellent and carefully prepared meals, despite a last-minute booking for five people. The hotel is dog-friendly. We would gladly return.

14/06/2026: On the way back from vacation, on a Sunday at 1:20 pm, finding somewhere to eat was tough. But this little family-run restaurant did the trick! A very generous burger menu, with cheese from the Pierre-qui-Vire Abbey and hearty crêpes... For €22! Unbeatable! All this on the shaded terrace. Yes, the service was a bit slow, but it's vacation... Well, almost! 😔 We were very happy with this stop, a typical French experience, surely much appreciated by our German and Dutch friends who were there at lunchtime. Thank you!

13/03/2026: Lunch as part of a festive menu was delicious, original, flavorful, generous, and very good—in short, thank you for this wonderful experience. The staff was very professional and friendly. The decor was lovely and cozy. Go without hesitation.

13/03/2026: As part of the restaurant's festive events, the menu item at Kastelberg was described as: "Celery ravioli with mushroom duxelles, finely shredded smoked eel in a vibrant ginger broth." The dish I received contained only two slices of celery sandwiched between other vegetables. When I asked where the shredded eel was, I was bluntly told that it was cooked in the broth. In that case, the more accurate description would be "eel-infused broth," not "shredded eel in broth." The description clearly implies the presence of fish on the plate. No compensation or alternative was offered, leaving a distinct impression of false advertising and a misleading description of the final product. It's a shame, because the main course was decent, and the average dessert resembled a piece of mass-produced fruit mousse cake. Edible, but nothing special; I didn't detect the promised cardamom flavor. Overall, I was disappointed by this restaurant for the first time.

11/07/2026: Just one word: exceptional!!! A word of warning: if you're only slightly hungry, this isn't the place for you 😂 The portions are incredibly generous. Extremely low prices for the amount you get. We'll be back!!!!

13/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at this unassuming little restaurant, which, with its small terrace overlooking the sea and the bridge to Île d'Oléron, offers a magnificent view. Rose gave us a very warm welcome with a big smile and was also very attentive to our little dogs. A charming young woman. As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed it; the homemade dishes were very fresh, delicious, generous portions, and beautifully presented. The service from Rose was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant; don't miss it! You'll have a delightful experience, both for the taste buds and the eyes. Excellent value for money.
