17/05/2026: What a brilliant find this was. Le Bistrot de Jeff serves authentic, honest French cuisine. The food is delicious with a variety of daily offerings. Portions are generous and well priced. Jeff and his staff were attentive and friendly and we enjoyed our meals so much we are returning tomorrow evening. It’s worth the 5 minutes walk away from the tourist hotspot of the Old Town. Highly recommend this place. Ps we went back again a third time on our return journey. Still excellent and Max the chef is worth a Michelin ⭐️🤩

05/05/2026: Sometimes you just know a restaurant is going to knock your socks off when you walk in. Well, untie your shoes and get ready. Top notch service with a smile and a shockingly reasonable price for some out of this world food. Tourist friendly but far from a trap. There is such a careful attention to the quality of their ingredients - it’s the best tartare I’ve ever had and even the SALAD bangs. I want to eat until I fall asleep, just so I can eat more when I wake up. 6/5, no notes, merci beaucoup.

14/06/2026: A mixed experience at this restaurant. The starter, a large bagel with gravlax salmon, disappointed us: the salmon was practically nonexistent, and the lemon whipped cream was far too overpowering, completely throwing the dish off balance. The hand-cut steak tartare, on the other hand, was excellent, perfectly seasoned, and very enjoyable. The quail fillet was cooked beautifully; the meat was tender and flavorful. However, the chestnut sauce lacked character: too much cream and not enough chestnut flavor, which didn't enhance the dish. The trompe-l'œil dessert didn't impress us. Visually, it resembled a piece of Gruyère cheese more than a dessert, and it was far too sweet. A more pronounced citrus note or a fresh fruit salad would have provided the necessary balance. On the other hand, a real plus for the service: the waitress was very pleasant, smiling, and particularly attentive throughout the meal.

12/12/2025: If you insist on my opinion: Positive: The cauliflower soup and the stew sauce were very good. Negative: The beef was tough, the portions were small (the rice pudding was ridiculously small), and we were charged €8 for a glass of wine (which was very good) without being informed beforehand. Leaving with a €36 lunch bill and still being hungry is unacceptable. First and last time.

14/04/2026: A terrace, sunshine, and a warm welcome from the waiter won us over! Reservations recommended! The waiters were very friendly, and even though the kitchen was clearly overflowing, the service was quick and responsive, and the dishes met our expectations.

04/05/2026: The food is good, but the prices are excessive for a crêperie. Three euros for an extra salad! Not very customer-friendly.

04/05/2026: The prices have increased compared to those on the menus shown in the photos (up €4 for some items). The various crepes are good and well-presented. My scallops were without coral, while my neighbor's had it—a shame. Any extras (whipped cream, small salad, etc.) are charged, and a bottle of cider is €15! Good food nonetheless.

11/05/2026: I'm writing about the experience we had at the restaurant today. The food was good, there's nothing to complain about. The duck was tasty, as was the appetizer, and the portions were large. Despite the high prices, the food is delicious. But the service is unprofessional and makes mistakes when paying, especially the waiter, a young main waiter man. We ordered a 250ml vine carafe, and the bill showed 500ml. I asked why I had to pay for 500ml, and the waiter said he was mistaken. Give us a larger carafe, and I should have seen it, and since we drank it, I should have paid. I don't know anything about carafe sizes! In other countries, you don't get it in carafes, but in glasses or bottles. Besides, it's his fault because he doesn't listen and makes mistakes, and ultimately, the customer ends up paying more than they should. Several customers before us also pointed out that he had calculated the bill incorrectly. The manager should either give him additional training or find someone more professional for the job. The food was tasty, but the service, due to the mistakes and the larger bill, unfortunately left us with a negative impression. People check the bills there !!!

16/05/2026: A wonderful welcome with a genuine smile. The food is incredibly delicious. Perhaps a slight disappointment with the desserts, but nothing serious. A very nice place in Conflans.
