27/09/2026: We were greeted by a waiter in his fifties… very peculiar! The appetizers arrived and he made a mistake, without a word of apology, nothing. Then, for the main course, he dipped his finger in the sauce 🤢. A mediocre dish, overcooked, too spicy, too hard to digest, and with so many mustard seeds—the equivalent of a 300g jar in my dish alone! A rather decent cocktail. I won't be back!

30/09/2026: "IF THIS ISN'T HAPPINESS, IT'S CLEARLY CLEAR" is the welcoming message with which Hélène Darroze and her team greeted us. Last night, we went to 39 rue des Jeûneurs in the 2nd arrondissement to discover the open and family-style cuisine of Southwest France envisioned by the Chef, and to immerse ourselves in the joyful atmosphere of a Parisian evening. We were more than satisfied: * a romantic dinner * flavorful, generous cuisine featuring products from Southwest France, * a well-curated wine list and a truly exceptional selection of spirits. A moment of conversation at the end of the meal with the pastry chef, originally from Peru, and with Clément Darroze, Hélène's nephew and Francis's grandson, the creator of the Darroze Armagnac brand and trading company, over a glass of 1988 vintage. We highly recommend the trip; you won't regret your time spent in this new temple of gastronomy.

27/09/2026: Gourmet cuisine at a reasonable price. The very friendly owner is attentive and caring. The negative reviews don't seem justified to me. A restaurant worth knowing about and recommending.

21/08/2026: They used to have amazing burgers. Tonight I bought a Torero and a Stromboli, and they were just so-so. The Torero had no flavor other than the pickle's vinegar. The bun was completely soggy. Everything was dripping. The steak wasn't cooked, not rare, it was raw. The fries were undercooked. Everything was really bland. A tiny little container of coleslaw that served absolutely no purpose, unlike before when the coleslaw was a proper container, not a toy; they might as well have left it out altogether. In short, I'm really disappointed, especially compared to before. This is the second time I've been.

22/09/2026: I've been here, I'm coming back, and I'll be back!! The 800g cordon bleu is a masterclass!!! The owners are lovely, and the restaurant is for sale, so hurry up and try this delicious, uniquely sized dish.

22/09/2026: For the main course, we had the bouchée à la reine, which was excellent and definitely worth recommending. For dessert, we chose the crème brûlée and the chocolate mousse, both of which were delicious.

01/07/2026: There is actually an English menu, but the staff doesn't know it; just ask them to flip the board over. Initially, you don't need a reservation, but it's best to make one if you have a large group. A carnivore's paradise, offering a variety of meat dishes at affordable prices and in generous portions.

29/06/2026: A restaurant for meat lovers like they used to make. Old-fashioned atmosphere, cuts of meat that are hard to find elsewhere, and a wide selection. Quick service and a very pleasant waiter. Purely for the pleasure of your stomach.

04/09/2026: There's always room for improvement, but we had a wonderful evening. The weather was fantastic, the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and even without a reservation, we got a table thanks to the staff's quick and efficient management. Very pleasant and stress-free. The food arrived very quickly and was delicious. We weren't pressured to leave – wonderful! Highly recommended.

26/09/2026: It's impossible to give an opinion. We had booked a table for 11 pm, but the unpredictable nature of the theater meant we arrived 10 minutes late. We were then told that the kitchen was already closed. If we had arrived at 11 pm sharp, might the kitchen have still been open? I wonder. We were looking forward to enjoying oysters and sole. In short, a ruined evening. Conclusion: it's pointless to book a table.

23/09/2026: This place is a classic. Great service and atmosphere. The food was awesome The soleman year a classic was beautiful. The Ratatouille was wonderful. We had lovely. I think it was Iberian ham with figs. It was just a great great lunch.

26/09/2026: A spontaneous stop and we weren't disappointed! The setting is superb, and the welcome and the food were too! We opted for the set menu and left with very full stomachs. The dishes were truly delicious and beautifully presented. I must highlight the side vegetables; their flavor was unique and skillfully prepared—I loved them!
