23/09/2024: Beautiful "beer and wine" garden on the banks of the Garonne with delicious beer, including craft beer, and wine, food which fortunately deviates from the typical German offer.

23/01/2025: Beware of false positive comments. We did not appreciate the order received and the service. But beyond that we saw a family, perhaps of island origin, the waiter sent them upstairs even though there was plenty of room in the restaurant. We all saw since he was right above us away from the others. I don't understand the concept because the family itself was shocked and embarrassed. After an incident reported at our table, then another at the table of this family (and perhaps others?!) we were able to talk with the latter outside and we had the same feeling. I do not accept that in 2025, there will still be treatments like this, especially in a city like this. I would also like to point out that the server spilled sauce on my son's phone, as well as his clothes and on part of ours. We were compensated by paying for the coffee we had. In short, bad experience, so I'm giving everyone one star!

23/09/2024: The welcome and service were very pleasant: attentive but without being intrusive. A special mention for the chef, Margaux Aguettant, who produces sophisticated cuisine, reinventing classic dishes by adding her own touch. In particular, I rediscovered snails with a new recipe. A real treat. We had already come in August, were very satisfied and this second experience only confirmed our first impression: we once again have a quality gastronomic restaurant in Les Portes.

08/07/2025: Great welcome, impeccable cleanliness, spacious, quiet room. Very accommodating manager who was able to accommodate our request. Communicating with an Italian grocery store and a bar. Bike rentals are available. We will definitely return if needed.

28/10/2024: Accès facile et parking gratuit à proximité. Accueil et déco très sympas. Carte variée avec beaucoup de choix. Et alors là la claque : la meilleure planche de viande rouge de ma vie !. Cuisson demandée respectée, accompagnements excellents (la pomme de terre cuite au four est à tomber. Et que dire de la hampe, fondante, tendre, copieuse et vraiment excellente !!!. Même le pain est excellent, et la planche apéro exquise. Hâte d'y retourner. Merci pour ce très beau moment passé en famille et à très bientôt.

24/09/2024: Très bel emplacement. Service agréable. Petits farcis nicois mauvais. Ravioli à la daube moyens. Nous sommes loin de la qualité passée. D'autant plus que nous sommes à 35 euros par personne. Avec un vin ordinaire.

30/08/2024: Already, parking is guaranteed! Then, the universe is exotic and so pleasant. Particularly the terrace which I recommend in summer. There is a beautiful atmosphere there, and you will eat in the shade of the foliage for your moment of relaxation at the table. An outdoor Bar could well remind you, for the lucky ones, of a stay in the West Indies or possibly the atmosphere of the well-known Bambouseraie. In a group of Friends, in family (with children or not), between work colleagues, in Love or even "alone"! I SIMPLY RECOMMEND! Occasionally, themed musical ambiances will be offered to you, so what are you waiting for? The managers of: “The LENS ROTISSERIE” Delicatessen and Gîtes Let's go beyond Gardon.

24/01/2025: The dishes were really delicious and well presented, no complaints about the quality of the food. On the other hand, the service was a real disappointment: long wait, unfriendly and inattentive staff. Too bad, because the experience could have been much better with service that matched the cuisine.

15/09/2024: May 30, 2023: Still going strong! Shaded terrace a little away from the tourist and local hustle and bustle of the heart of the city. Very nice summer menu with large salads that are enough for your meal. A year ago: Good food, fish dish and excellent risotto (very creamy). A hearty strawberry dessert, a change from the 2 strawberries that fight a duel in most other restaurants... Pleasant and efficient service, I recommend.
