06/09/2026: Discovered today for afternoon tea with the children; the service was very quick and welcoming. And the ice cream sundaes and milkshakes were very good!

13/08/2025: The young owner who just took over this restaurant has made it a little gem of Gascony cuisine! Excellent menu: recommend the foie gras plate. The homemade brownies are exceptional. Warm, cheerful, and friendly welcome. A must-try if you're in the Gers. The village is very cute.

08/08/2025: Très bien. We loved it. The plat du jour was soup and quiche with a salad followed by pork sausage ragu on rice or pork loins with fries and salad with crumble for dessert. But the 'crumble' was actually Dutch apple tart with whipped cream!!! I was so 😊! Plus a small jug of wine each. All for 19E. Lovely outdoor seating with fantastic medieval rustic views.

09/09/2026: They are incredibly unfriendly here!!! First, we had to go to the bar ourselves after 10 minutes to ask if we could order; she rudely told us that we would be served at the table. After that, I asked for a menu. When she came to the table another 10 minutes later, I still didn't have a menu and was told I just had to order. We received our drinks without ice or lime, even though they charge €4 for a cola. When we then asked for ice ourselves, they still had the nerve to seat us at our tables and tell us we had to speak French… truly unbelievably unfriendly staff…

25/10/2025: We stayed for one night with my children. The restaurant in the evening was excellent: fresh, high-quality, and homemade food. The owners are lovely, very attentive, and took great care of their guests. Breakfast was just as perfect—the wonderful aromas wafting from 7 a.m. onwards are a real treat! A warm and authentic establishment that I highly recommend. 🌿

04/07/2026: Stopped for a night on the way to Spain. Interiors were dated but perfectly looked after. I actually loved the sink in our bathroom. Very retro! The team were very kind, the rooms here exceptionally clean and the food was great. Had the bavette and enjoyed a local wine. Booked to stay again on our return journey.

12/09/2026: We ate at many restaurants in Bordeaux, and this one had the most expensive and worst "Croque Monsieur"! Thick slices of toast, not toasted, topped with ham and cheese for €20.00 – not gourmet food. Not recommended! Better to go two streets over; there you can get a crispy "Croque Monsieur" for half the price.

01/09/2026: Le Petit Sabayon — Morangis 91 Having visited several times about two years ago, I was looking forward to returning to Le Petit Sabayon, curious to discover a new menu and a refreshed decor. How disappointed I was… The dining room is pleasant enough, certainly, but it lacks that extra something that makes a place truly special. The setting, while agreeable, fails to create the intimate atmosphere one might expect from a bistronomic establishment. As for the food, the verdict is unfortunately less enthusiastic. The prices, relatively high for this type of restaurant, call for more refined dishes: more depth, more creativity, more contrast, and above all, more personality. The flavors seemed to lack depth, sometimes too bland, where I would have appreciated more tension and character. The portions, too, seemed particularly small considering the bill. Because these days, simply serving a dish in pretty containers isn't enough: the taste must also live up to the presentation. Added to this was the air conditioning, which wasn't working, making the experience somewhat uncomfortable, and the dining room was unfortunately too noisy to offer the hushed atmosphere I so appreciate. Finally, the €14 glass of red wine seemed particularly excessive. These remarks were made openly to the owner. I must nevertheless commend her courtesy: without me even asking, she spontaneously agreed to adjust the bill. A gesture of goodwill that I sincerely appreciated and will remember, allowing me to end this experience on a more palatable note. 27/08/2026: We went there for our wedding anniversary. A great place. Everything was perfect: refined cuisine but generous portions, truly impeccable service, lovely setting – nothing was left to chance.

01/09/2026: I found this restaurant through an app that calculates calories by taking a picture of my plate. The tray with the brownie was good and corresponded to my remaining calorie intake. The portion of pancakes was a decent size. The service was efficient for a lunch break.

18/10/2026: We discovered this place thanks to a Wonderbox gift set. Our hosts were very welcoming, and the room was spacious and clean. The homemade dinner and breakfast, featuring local products, were excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed them. We had a wonderful, peaceful stay that allowed us to recharge. We highly recommend La Bacchante!

17/10/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant is located opposite a shopping center. The interior is lovely, and the service is pleasant and friendly. The delightful manager immediately made us feel at ease. The cocktail 🍹 and everything from the appetizer to the dessert was delicious and flavorful – kudos to the kitchen! Excellent Pessac/Léognan wine. 🍷 And the outdoor terrace will be reopening soon! 👏
