21/05/2026: Having dined at Ty Breizh last night by chance, I wasn't disappointed at all. The owner and waitress were very friendly, and the meal was excellent.

09/05/2026: We were four cyclists out on the trails in the rain, and we'd arrived past the crêperie's opening time. The owner still gave us a very warm welcome and prepared something to eat, all in a great musical atmosphere. The food was good, and the welcome was warm. Thank you!

19/05/2026: I particularly love this restaurant on the port of Cassis! The cuisine is refined, the ingredients are fresh and perfectly prepared, with a magnificent view of the port that makes the experience even more enjoyable. Special mention goes to the warm welcome and attentive service: the entire team is smiling, professional, and incredibly caring. A must-try in Cassis, which I recommend without hesitation!

19/05/2026: The best fish restaurant in Cassis!!! We've been back several times and every time it's perfect! The service is impeccable (thank you to Carla and her dad), the fish is delicious!!! We always receive great advice and we keep coming back with pleasure!!!

07/06/2026: Very fun place and the staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. Good cider and galettes. Unfortunately no vegetarian food so you have to order something with meat and have it omitted.

08/07/2026: We've dined at this restaurant several times and have always been satisfied! The cuisine is original, delicious, and perfectly executed. The service and wine list recommendations are excellent and we highly recommend it.

28/06/2026: We had a wonderful experience a few years ago, but we have to admit that the quality has dropped considerably. The presentation of the dishes was very average, lacking any innovation or surprise, and the pre-desserts were quite mediocre. Our aperitif glasses were removed from the table towards the end of the meal, which is unprofessional for a restaurant claiming to be fine dining. Please note that we came during a period of intense heat; the dining room was sweltering, and the air conditioning was clearly inadequate. It was so hot that we were suffering and almost wanted to leave. I regret to say that the quality and price are no longer what we expected, and we will be going elsewhere.

20/07/2026: They apparently don't serve "free drinks," according to the waiter. We were refused a glass of water, even though it's the law to serve it upon request. A syrup drink with water cost €3.50, and they didn't even give us change (€0.50). Outrageous!

16/07/2026: After a trip to Lille today, we ordered a full Welsh rarebit. To our surprise, our food was served in a semblance of Welsh rarebit. It looked more like a Welsh rarebit sandwich – that's the real name for this dish. After asking one of the waiters what kind of cheddar cheese it was, he unsurprisingly replied, "Welsh grated." Sorry, paying for a Welsh rarebit and getting a Welsh rarebit sandwich are two different things. For a real Welsh rarebit, the best cheese is Galloway, a restaurant owner who didn't even know what that cheese was when I asked him. Avoid this place if you want a Welsh rarebit, and he even admitted it, but the waiter was completely unhelpful.

03/07/2026: A successful experience. Mussels with creamy sauce, and the baba for dessert was simply divine! Our little dog was accepted without any problem 😉

13/07/2026: It was supposed to be a simple morning with a nice cold beer at the bar, but it turned into buying an inflatable boat that was on display and filled with German beers. The welcome was fantastic, kind, and warm, with a smile! And so, thank you so much for giving us this opportunity; thanks to you, the entrance of the witnesses into the secular ceremony was incredible! We highly recommend this VandB, it's top-notch!

14/07/2026: We frequent Café de la Crèche regularly, especially during the summer months or winter. Today we arrived in an exceptional heatwave, with an outside/inside temperature of 39 degrees Celsius. No fans, no air conditioning!! This nursery is straight out of the 1950s; perhaps it should update itself in 2026 to account for climate change and heatwaves 🥵 We were very disappointed with the service, especially the exasperated waitress who showed no desire to serve us and placed our glasses like ashtrays, without a word of greeting! We come to Café de la Crèche regularly, but what a disappointment!!! We should ask for a refund for our drinks today. We had to finish our drinks very quickly and leave for an air-conditioned place beforehand to avoid feeling unwell. Thanks to the management of the establishment, well done 👎🏻 We invite you to reply to this Google review because we would like to hear your reaction. A simple question? Why didn't you invest in a simple fan? Too expensive, around a hundred euros? Even just to demonstrate your good faith? What do you expect us to do, bring our fan every time we come to eat at your establishment? La X Rousse is known for having air-conditioned bars and places; don't think you're the only bar/restaurant and that we're going to beg you for a tiny fan! This incident has certainly dampened our enthusiasm for returning to your establishment, knowing that this has happened several times during the summer and that we've encountered the same problem. Shameful, truly shameful!

14/07/2026: Five stars two years ago. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined (meat not cooked as ordered, plastic labels on the plate, smaller portions...) and the service is colder than before.

06/06/2026: I went to this traditional restaurant for a special asparagus meal. The service was a little slow, but that was because the restaurant was full. The asparagus (all you can eat) was tender and of excellent quality. We had three sauces to choose from: mustard vinaigrette, mayonnaise, and whipped cream with chives (so good you could eat it by the spoonful!), as well as three types of charcuterie: cooked ham, bone-in ham, and cured ham, and baguette. For dessert, we enjoyed strawberries with ice cream and whipped cream. Given the quality of the food, I'll definitely be back next year!
