02/01/2026: A pleasant stop. Great restaurant, the waiters and waitresses are friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. The dishes are attractively presented and, what's more, very tasty!
The only downside... the heating could be turned up a bit more.

When you enter this restaurant, a wonderful aroma of freshly cooked food greets you, like an invitation to sit down at a large, welcoming table. The hostess is warm and inviting, much like the wood-burning stove whose comforting flames crackle, inviting you to feel right at home.
The homemade dishes are delicious. Truly a great find; my friends and I discovered this restaurant "by chance," and we'll definitely be back. At least, I certainly will! :) Thank you!

04/02/2026: Avoid at all costs… both the food and the friendliness of the owners… wake up! Selling low-quality frozen food with decor stuck in 2010 (not to mention the mess in the dining room) isn't going to keep the business going. Run!

27/01/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch today. The staff and the owner are very welcoming and friendly. The food is very good; we had fried carp and perch, which was excellent—a real treat! I highly recommend this restaurant.

23/11/2025: Avoid at all costs!
Despite waiting an entire hour in the cold—a wait the manager had asked us to respect, assuring us a table would be available—we were never seated. Not only was the promise broken, but the manager displayed a disconcerting lack of empathy, showing no regard whatsoever for our wasted time or our empty stomachs.
The irony is that we were clearly told not to make a reservation, only to be criticized for not doing so. Total disorganization, incoherent communication, and a blatant disregard for customers.

03/02/2026: What a buzzing and vibrant bar / café / restaurant. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and were made very welcome by the staff. They even changed the TV channel so we could watch the six nations rugby. The prices were very fair, and the menu extensive. We've revisited this wonderful establishment again this lunchtime and enjoyed the same level of friendly welcome, and this time were treated to a fantastic lunch. Great ambience and not overly expensive. Credit to the team for their continued first class service. Although we try to communicate in French as best we can, English is spoken, and the menu can be obtained in English via a QR code. The quality of the food was great, with the portion size plentiful. Give it a try, as you won't be disappointed.

The Korean chef's cuisine was a marvel of flavor and delicacy.

27/01/2026: Surrounded by Anglo-Saxons overflowing with questions of all kinds (not all stupid, I admit), more or less ignored at the counter by the staff, I let myself go right off the bat, that Saturday evening, with an unpleasant remark: "The Hatzidakis Assyrtiko wines that are on your website have disappeared from the wine list I have in front of me!" And miraculously, the bartender tells me that there were only two bottles left, hence the removal from the wine list. I pounced on them: a "Santorini Assyrtiko 2012" and an "Assyrtiko de Mylos Vieilles Vignes 2011" (written in French on the label, if you please), crafted with passion and immense talent by the great Haridimos Hatzidakis, born in Crete, who passed away on August 11, 2017, the first day of the harvest, at the age of 50. I had discovered these now legendary wines—and even better vintages—by frequenting Vassili Alexiou's restaurant L'Olivier, at 15 Boulevard du Temple (Metro Filles du Calvaire), until its closure. It goes without saying that I was moved to tears two years ago on a Cycladic beach when I tasted the excellent Familia vintage, proof that the Hatzidakis family has managed to maintain the family legacy at a high level. Nothing is more moving than a "successful" handover under such tragic circumstances, and in a profession where the very best, especially the very best, reinvent themselves every year. All of that would have been more than enough to make me happy, but it turns out that the Clown Bar's kitchen brigade, currently Korean, is also up to the task. During that wonderful evening, the image of Tony Curtis emerging from the "Filles du Calvaire" metro station at the beginning of Carol Reed's Trapeze (1956) came to mind, and I knew that nothing bad could happen to me in this magical little neighborhood. I was outside of time, in an eternal setting, protected by a host of genuine talent.

01/05/2025: We had lunch there by chance during a walk with our dog and everything was very good: from the welcome to the service including the dishes of course. The fried carp was excellent and so was the bull. The names of the dishes and desserts on the menu made us smile. Special mention for the very nice decor!

03/01/2026: The hotel is very well located, with private parking available. The staff is very welcoming and attentive to guests. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was varied and of high quality.

The decor is from the 70s.
Bunk bed for the kids.
However, the bathtub:
- Rotten sealant
- Impossible to adjust the water temperature
- Rotten wooden window
- Towels that smell of cigarettes
Everything else is fine.

Having taken our address, we went to Antolin's to stock up on their incomparable ice creams, as well as the Norwegian omelet!
Very warm welcome, served quickly by passionate and pleasant staff!
Go there! Boujan-sur-Libron is easy to reach, with the highway not far from Béziers.
Really impressed by the taste of yesteryear!
