26/10/2026: Anyone who had mussels in Belgium particularly in Antwerp or tried green lip mussels in Havelock (NZ) will know their version here is mediocre; the seafood spaghetti is below average; the aroma and sauce just cannot make it.. put hundred years old restaurant to shame. I wouldn’t recommend my friends and relatives to eat here; save your calories for something else

We decided to spend the weekend there for three days, from Friday, May 8th to Sunday, May 10th.
Pleasant setting, delicious food, comfortable rooms, welcoming and attentive staff.
I have absolutely no complaints about this stay; I highly recommend it!

For the slightly high price, there are set menus available for €35 including a starter, main course, and dessert.

30/09/2026: Restaurant located on the edge of the port of Cassis. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A very warm welcome. Bistro salad, seared fresh tuna, and gourmet coffee are on the menu. From appetizer to dessert, everything is excellent. The bistro salad is generous, and the seared tuna is a real treat. If you're passing through Cassis, don't miss this restaurant.
27/09/2026: We ate at the bistro. We were served by Virginie, who was very professional and friendly. However, her colleague Florence was very abrupt, unprofessional, and especially unkind to her colleagues. I recommend the restaurant, but you know who to choose as a waitress.

19/09/2026: Excellent experience! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was warm and attentive. We came with friends from Oslo, Norway, and we’re so happy we found this place. Everything was wonderful — highly recommended!
17/09/2026: Inedible piece of meat with poor quality fries. The meat was well done but wanted medium, tasted strange and incredibly tough. Left the whole piece of meat. The staff reduced the price which was good.

At 11:15 AM, the sauna was closed and switched off. This happens far too often.
24/09/2026: I absolutely love this gym! It's large, with lots of boulder problems offering great variety and all levels. It's clean, and the music isn't too loud most of the time (a few decibels less would be welcome).

23/10/2026: We had a wonderful time at Mathieu's bistro.
The service was simply delightful and the food was truly delicious.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to try their menu, which was the reason we chose to come.
But they served fantastic tapas that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Highly recommended!

25/09/2026: I bought caramel and fruit paste. The staff were kind and nice.
I bought mango passion fruit, plain, and pistachio caramel. The mango one was especially delicious, with a rich flavor that tasted like I was eating the fruit itself.

27/09/2026: First and foremost, a huge thank you to the staff for the warm welcome they gave us. We want to thank them for seating us in a spot that suited us (they even changed the seating plan for our reserved tables 👍). The food was good and plentiful, as were the beers. The atmosphere and decor were pleasant. We had no trouble parking. Thanks also to our table neighbors, whom we didn't know, with whom we had a great time. And thank you to the waiter for his kindness and humor. Well done to everyone!
25/09/2026: Since your fire 🔥, there's an eight-hour wait in the kitchen today, and no mojito at lunchtime—perfect for me! Then there's Piedmontese sausage to share, chipolatas, very rustic, and you have Knacki and CROUS fries for two euros? Yes, at your place, €49! Disappointment! And you, my wife...

19/09/2026: Unfortunately, La Plage restaurant is no longer what it used to be, and that's a real shame. I truly miss the former owner and his entire team.
These days, I find the service leaves much to be desired: the staff spends a lot of time chatting and makes customers wait far too long. It's a pity, because the place had so much potential.
Furthermore, the prices have become truly exorbitant.
A real disappointment, especially for those who knew the restaurant before.
19/09/2026: Appalling, slow service, and it feels like being in a school playground… the staff have absolutely no manners.
The change of ownership has really damaged this location, which used to be so pleasant… I ordered a glass of sweet wine… they charged me 9 euros… worse than in Paris…
Then the restaurant owners don't understand why people aren't coming anymore 🤷🏼♀️
I absolutely do not recommend this place.
