27/09/2024: If you are not in a hurry, you can book. Half a glass of gazpacho served to keep us waiting... we ordered 9 oysters and 1 beef skewer (very good) and had to wait more than 1 hour despite our complaint. Pay attention to the bill, the price indicated is not the one you pay (€13.50 for 9 oysters on the bill and €12 on the menu). I didn't see it until it was too late.

21/12/2025: A lunch stop between errands, and from the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like regular customers. We were seated and served a small glass of appetizer cake without even having ordered. Two pizzas and a pitcher of wine—nothing extraordinary—but the service was impeccable: ice cubes, smiles. The pizza was excellent: a light crust, ham, fresh mushrooms, good cheese (not soaked in oil), perfect. Highly recommended!

02/11/2025: It's definitely number 9; you can't miss the porch with its large wooden door, but you have to look up to see the rather discreet sign. Inside, you'll find a patio with a monumental stone table, numerous potted trees—lemon, orange, jasmine—and a room where jazz concerts are held if you happen to be there on the right day. An oasis of greenery in the heart of Nîmes, it's a restaurant, bar, and live music venue all rolled into one... it all depends on your luck and your mood.

03/10/2025: Hidden away but close to the coliseum, Le 9 is a true gem. Great atmosphere, great service, and delicious food, reasonable prices. Can't go wrong.

09/11/2025: Avoid room 102 We stayed at the Hotel Bourgignon in July this summer on our way back from our vacation. We had very fond memories of both the room and the restaurant. We had booked a ground-floor room; we are in our seventies and my husband has respiratory problems. The hotel manager had warned us that only one small room remained. Upon arrival, the hotel seemed less well-maintained and our room almost unsanitary: dirty walls, broken radiator, curtains hanging off, completely worn-out mattress, no bedside tables or lamps, questionable sheets, wrinkled pillows, a dirty wastebasket that hadn't been cleaned in ages, and a bathroom that was acceptable, although very dark. This room shouldn't be rented out; according to the hotel manager, he can't afford to renovate it. I invite the hotel manager to sleep there for 95 euros, the price we paid. Thankfully, we found the restaurant again, with its excellent food and wines; congratulations to the chef and the friendly, competent waitstaff. In conclusion, it's a shame we were left with a negative impression. I felt very anxious in this room, which should have been a place of relaxation after a long drive. Had it not been for the fatigue, we would have been back on the road.

14/10/2025: The starter and main course were excellent, but the desserts were average, especially the chocolate-filled tart, which was dry (probably reheated in the microwave). We didn't like the coffee and mentioned it to the server.

20/10/2025: It was delicious, I ate a Nutella banana waffle. The service was fast, and the atmosphere was calm (it was raining). Despite the rain, the waiter was smiling and cheerful. I'll be back.

10/07/2025: We celebrated our mother's birthday at Blue Marning last weekend (50 people). A beautiful restaurant on the banks of the Marne, with delicious dishes, great organization, and above all, a warm, efficient team with great advice for organizing the event. Everyone was delighted! 26/11/2025: The menu looked enticing, featuring traditional, homemade dishes... but ultimately, it was a disappointment: the portions weren't generous (chicken liver pâté) and, above all, the dark chocolate/mandarin dessert was rather bland. The salads on the €38 set menu were the same size as those on the €11.50 menu? Strange... Were the vegetables in the Autumn salad the same as those accompanying the pike-perch fillet? They were overcooked! The quenelle—with its very dry and heavy rice crisp—wasn't worth a return visit. It lacked a smile from the waitress. After reading some of the lukewarm reviews, I hope mine won't be met with the ironic comments I've seen. Update: no change of heart... what bad publicity...

03/01/2026: Another one who's happy in life and loves his job 😂 Just kidding, a prison door would be much friendlier than this horrible bartender. When you run a business, the bare minimum is a hello, thank you, goodbye, or maybe it's time to consider a career change.

22/01/2026: We booked one of the small chalets for a cozy birthday celebration. The three pieces of dry-aged meat were excellent, as were all the side dishes. I highly recommend it.

07/12/2025: A typical Alsatian restaurant with regional cuisine. The two cabins are especially great for groups. Platters of meat, chicken, fish, and prawns are served there for grilling yourself. An open fire burns in the center. Friendly service.
