21/08/2024: Cuisine goûteuse avec des plats de la région. Les farçous aveyronnais étaient délicieux. Petit bémol pour la noix d'entrecôte (à 24€ tout de même !) qui n'était pas du tout tendre. Service rapide et souriant.

08/07/2025: Loved this place! Went with my husband and two boys. The food is excellent, as is the service. Fun decor, especially if you're a 90s kid like me 😁 Advice: make sure you book in advance. We did and we were glad, as the place was fully booked the evening we attended.

11/11/2024: Un restaurant dans un petit village du Gers où nous avons eu le plaisir de déjeuner à deux reprises. La première fois (il y a un peu plus de 6 ans) sur la terrasse très agréable à l'arrière du batîment. Nous étions venus avec nos 2 bouledogues français. Nous avons très bien déjeuné et nous étions certains d'y revenir. Chose faite hier midi, cette fois ci dans la grande salle du restaurant, accompagnés de nos 2 chihuahuas. Accueil très agréable de la part du serveur qui nous avait réservé une table dans un endroit adéquat pour ne déranger aucun autre convive. Repas succulent (foie gras avec un petit quelque chose en plus, souris d'agneau avec polenta onctueuse, pavlova et que dire des profiteroles qui ont une particularité à découvrir). Merci pour cet agréable moment dans une ambiance et une lumière feutrées. Félicitations au chef cuisinier (qui est aussi le patron) pour cette cuisine raffinée. Nous n'avons pas eu le plaisir de revoir la patronne qui était occupée par ailleurs. L'adresse de ce petit établissement est à retenir. Pourquoi pas pour faire une étape puisque c'est aussi un hôtel. Une chose est certaine : nous reviendrons. Famille chihuahuas.

10/11/2024: ENTRECÔTES UNE CATASTROPHE ce restaurant est une très belle table et le cuisiner à beaucoup de talent. Malheureusement il a été livré avec entrecôtes sous vide pleine de ligaments et de gras plus de 50% du morceau. de plus elles ont annoncées pour maturée ce qui est complètement faux. Une viande sous vide qui est sous vide depuis 30 jours ne mâture pas. Il faut 1 à 3° et de l’air autour pendant 15/30/45 jours en fonction. Le réel problème c’est que ce restaurateur devrait retourner la viande à son fournisseur et ne pas l’accepter. Ayant eu 2 restaurants auparavant moi même il ne faut pas se faire refiler de la viande pour haché comme de l’entrecôte et changer de fournisseur. Dommage car c’est une bonne table par ailleurs Un conseil demander à voir la viande avant cuisson avec la couleur et les ligaments très visible vous pourrez la refuser avant trop tard.

13/08/2024: I think this is a restaurant more for regulars than for people passing through. We felt a bit like we were disturbing. No menu (it's not possible to know the price of drinks) just a slate with 2 or 3 dishes, I don't know anymore.

19/09/2024: Lunch menu 15 euros, wine included, with choice, varied all-you-can-eat buffet, even with very good whelks and several dishes and desserts. Fast and pleasant service. I recommend this restaurant.

23/09/2024: In my opinion there is no way this a 3-star restaurant. Why? Let me count the ways. When we arrived, we were given our menus. We ordered a glass of champagne while we perused the menu. No sooner did our champagne arrive the waiter asks for our order, I informed him we would like more time. While we drank our champagne he repeatedly comes back for our order. Finally, I tell him we are “thinking” of ordering the lobster and lamb but not ready to order until we order a bottle of wine. We ask for sommelier to suggest a wine, waiter says ok I will put your order in and I say no, please send sommelier. This would be 5 times he tries to take our order in the span of 15 minutes. Cleary, they have another reservation for this table and want us out ASAP. The sommelier suggests a $500 bottle of wine and we ask for another suggestion, and he obliges with a more reasonable priced wine. We then order the lobster dinner as an appetizer to be spilt. Price? $160 euro. Now I fully understand that pricing is different in Paris especially for a 3 star restaurant but $160 for a small lobster…well ok. But for that price you expect it to be the best dammed lobster you have every had…right. Nope the sauce was horrible and did nothing to compliment the lobster…yuk was my reaction. Oh well maybe the dinner will be worthy. My wife ordered the lamb and asked for medium rare. What does she get? Overcooked lamb. Really? I think the lamb dish was $140 for a large tablespoon of lamb that was overdone. I had the pigeon, and it was fine but not better than I had at bistro for lunch a few days before. The difference was that I paid 5x this price at this place versus the bistro. I have no issue paying top dollar but I expect the food and the service to be some of the best I have ever had. For me the price to quality ratio was way off. We finish our meal and then wait and wait for our dishes to be cleared. In a 3 star restaurant you expect attention to detail but no one came to clear our dishes for over 10 minutes. So, first they rush me and now I just sit. I am asked if we want cheese or desert and decide no, we have had enough and just want to go. I want to add that we dinned here 10 years ago, and the food and the service was 5 stars or what you would expect from a 3 star Michelin restaurant. How this restaurant has maintained their 3-star rating is a mystery to me. The next night we dined at a 1 star Michelin restaurant. The service and food were worthy of 3 stars. L’Ambroisie for me/us was overrated.

19/09/2024: Once again, I am astonished that food can be so great. Also I don't understand the comments that the staff is "too formal." Maybe because they remembered me from 15 years ago, but the staff has a great sense of humor if you do. For the most amazing 3 star food in Paris, there is an atmosphere of joy in this restaurant.
