18/10/2026: A wonderful experience at Bistrot d'Edmond! From the moment I arrived, the welcome was warm and friendly. The portions were generous, delicious, and beautifully presented. It's the perfect place to enjoy a pleasant meal, whether for a midweek lunch break or a dinner with friends. I will definitely be back!

09/10/2026: I went there with two colleagues after work. We were warmly welcomed by a friendly and helpful waitress. The food was very good, with excellent meat. The dessert was perfect and very reasonably priced. The owner is nice and chatted with us. We'll be back.

03/10/2026: Huge disappointment with the gnocchi dish. €16 for a very small plate, seven gnocchi, and four pieces of processed ham... a burrata that was more than mediocre in terms of taste. The gnocchi had a very strange texture, like bland pan-fried potatoes... I absolutely do not recommend this dish. And the dessert... let's talk about it. A chocolate fondant, certainly also mass-produced. Too sweet. Very average.

29/09/2026: We went there on Saturday evening at 7:15 pm. The pizzas were generous, and the service was quick. The music was a bit loud; we asked for it to be turned down, which was done.

26/09/2026: A warm and inviting atmosphere, a very friendly welcome, and an exceptional meal! Excellent value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful experience. We will definitely return on our next visit to Chenillé.

13/09/2026: We were a table of eight and were very disappointed with the experience. The meal was quite disappointing, especially considering the restaurant's reputation. We paid over €40 per person for some dishes that we didn't find particularly exceptional. For that price, we really expected better. The welcome was unfortunately even more disappointing. We didn't feel particularly welcome. The waitress was unfriendly and complained about her busy days and the fact that the restaurant was fully booked. I can understand that a busy service is tiring, but making these kinds of remarks in front of customers isn't very pleasant, especially when the restaurant is fortunate enough to be full. Another point: when the menu was brought to us, the waitress asked us immediately without giving us a chance to look at it properly. We found this rather unpleasant and a bit pushy. Giving customers a few minutes to look at the menu before returning to take their order would be much more appreciated. In short, between the service and the food, we were disappointed with our experience. Personally, I don't plan to go back.

09/09/2026: Passing through your region, my wife and I stopped to eat, and we were not disappointed at all by the quality of the meal and the very pleasant waitress from beginning to end, keep up the good work.

25/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at this establishment. The meal was particularly generous, delicious, and enhanced by some truly delightful culinary discoveries. The welcome and service were impeccable: the waitresses were very kind and friendly. Special mention goes to the terrace, which was extremely pleasant and peaceful. A place to remember; we will definitely return on our next trip to the area!

29/11/2025: The food was excellent: fresh ingredients, clean flavors, beautifully plated. The service, however, was unprofessional and abysmal. After the fish course, the dirty plates sat untouched for 45 minutes, until I finally bussed them myself because they smelled. I had to wander the restaurant to find the server and ask for the check, cancelling dessert. When I said I shouldn’t be charged for a dish I no longer wanted, the waiter snapped, “You chose it, you pay for it.” This place is not worth it.

25/11/2025: A well-deserved 5 stars. From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, everything was perfect. The ingredients were very fresh, local, and chosen according to what's available at the market. Not to mention the very friendly welcome and impeccable service. Excellent value for money. You absolutely must go.

A wonderful time, a pleasant atmosphere, and top-notch food. I highly recommend this place if you're ever in Calvi! ❤️ Special mention for the mussel sauce, definitely worth trying! 😍🦪

25/06/2026: We ordered two beef tartares. We were brought an empty salt mill, a jar with two small packets of ketchup, and an empty Worcestershire sauce container. When we pointed this out, we were simply told they were out, without any suggestion or apology. Several servers then asked if we wanted them to go and get more, rolling their eyes whenever we had the misfortune to say yes. This struck us as odd: it shouldn't be the customer's responsibility to ensure the ingredients for a dish are available. A waitress was eventually sent to a nearby convenience store but returned without having found any sauce. When it was suggested that we look for another option, perhaps at a nearby shop, no real search was undertaken and no apology was offered. Unfortunately, the situation worsened when we explained that we didn't want to eat our tartare under these conditions. Instead of a courteous exchange, we were met with unpleasant remarks and a defensive attitude. The waitress explained that she herself ate her steak tartare without Worcestershire sauce, that in her opinion, this sauce played no particular role in terms of hygiene, that it served only to add flavor, and that many restaurants prepared their tartares without it. When we expressed a different opinion, she replied that we weren't going to "teach her how she does her job." The final straw came when we explained that we found it regrettable to be treated as demanding, even rude, customers when we were simply asking for a solution to a problem for which we weren't responsible. Her response was: "Well, you are!" Beyond the lack of sauce, it was primarily the lack of professionalism, the absence of apologies, the refusal to find a solution, and the tone used that deeply disappointed us. Finally, there was no gesture of goodwill or apology when it came time to pay the bill, just the card reader thrust in front of us at full price. If the job of a waiter consists of contradicting the customer, refusing to question anything, and disrespecting them when they express legitimate dissatisfaction, then we certainly aren't going to teach you how to do your job. However, if this job involves courtesy, a sense of service, and respect for the customer, then clearly there are a few reminders to be made. An experience we will not be repeating.

10/07/2026: A fantastic experience! We're vegetarians, we called about a week in advance and received a completely customized menu! The flavors, the textures... We discovered a very rich and sophisticated vegetarian cuisine. The house cocktail was also excellent. (And it's very accessible from Escalquens train station.)

09/07/2026: Was I refused because I'm allergic to tomatoes or because my husband is vegetarian? I don't know. In any case, it's the first time a restaurant has ever refused my reservation after I left a message explaining my tomato allergy and my vegetarianism! And they call themselves gourmet! A true gourmet chef knows how to adapt by cooking two vegetables and an egg, and even make a beautiful dish out of it!
