19/01/2025: unusual place. Friendly boss and staff. very generous cuisine. An excellent dinner.

06/01/2025: Good discovery of this small restaurant facing the port of Sauzon open during the CHRISTMAS holidays. However, a surprise when paying the bill: a dish replacing another was charged more to us without having informed us at the time of ordering (this dish was therefore another dish and not a replacement) and no commercial gesture offered ( coffee offered for example). Too bad otherwise nice welcome and nice decor.

13/12/2024: Friendly for tourists The snails are not incredible, defrosted and therefore the sauce very watery, without fat. Very good garnished sauerkraut, for big eater the 6 meats is not too much.

10/12/2024: Good welcome. Friendly staff who know the compositions of the dishes. Excellent winemaker's salad. Hearty sauerkraut and refined dessert all on the local menu. Good value for money.

07/09/2024: Magnificent little castle full of history.

27/08/2024: Superb property, in which I was able to create the sound system for a wedding for the cocktail and the evening. The place is magnificent, with a view of a pond, from a courtyard framed by the 2 wings of the castle + the entrance porch. The reception room is a little narrow, and is therefore not the most practical, but it is something that can be accommodated without worry. The on-site manager is adorable and very accommodating.

08/07/2025: the restaurant has a very cozy south france setting and very suitable seafood for most palates. The service is also so welcoming! Highly recommendable with friends :)

01/07/2025: Unfortunately we had to wait around one hour to get our food. We waited around 25 minutes to get just water! Honestly the food was really tasty, but the service was bad

03/09/2024: Nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce restaurant lors de notre retour du sud. - Frites froides pour un plat à 18 euros Nous avons commandé une entrecôte et des frites. Certes la viande était bonne mais tandis que mon mari a visiblement eu des frites chaudes, les miennes étaient réellement froides. Ce n'est pas qu'une perception car mon mari a goûté mes frites. On avait l'impression qu'elles avaient été insuffisamment décongelées. Comment pour une nourriture supposée fraiche est-il possible que mon mari ait des frites chaudes et moi des frites pas totalement décongelées ? Au regard des frites et du temps de service (voir ci-après), j'ai renoncé à prendre un dessert. - Temps d'attente trop long Installés à notre table, nous avons attendu encore et encore... Lorsqu'un autre couple arrivé après nous a vu sa commande prise avant nous, j'ai demandé à la jeune serveuse si elle pouvait prendre notre commande. A ma grande surprise, sans aucune aimabilité, elle m'a dit qu'elle arrivait et alors qu'elle retournait en cuisine, elle a soupiré de façon ostentatoire. Nous n'avons pas été les seuls à relever le temps anormalement long du service. - Impossibilité de choisir sa table Arrivés à 13h40, la salle était remplie de clients en couple à une exception près de mais il restait néanmoins 3 tables à l'intérieur et beaucoup à l'extérieur. Alors qu'on nous proposait de nous installer sur une table près de la porte des toilettes et avec une vue sur le sas d'accès à la cuisine, j'ai demandé l'une des 2 autres tables disponibles. A ma grande surprise, cela nous a été refusé au motif qu'il s'agissait de tables de 4 couverts. Il était tout de même 13h40 et beaucoup de couples étaient plutôt en fin de déjeuner !!!

We arrived at 8:20 p.m. when the schedule said they closed at 9 p.m. In fact, they were taking orders for another table but still when we asked for dinner they told us that they were already closed. He really did us a favor because we went to another place where they treated us very well.

04/12/2024: Ordinary cuisine, lacking in flavor. Dirty noisy. High price for value for money. Soft at 4E minimum. Tiramisu missing and coffee, and 100% dark chocolate on top: biscuits not soaked enough, mascarpone of some sort, not sweet enough nor creamy enough, sort of Nesquik sprinkled in a hurry. Dish in the same image, not very tasty. We can't say that it's really bad, nor that it's really good. It's expensive and very very average.
