08/08/2026: Lunch break guided by AI, who recommended this restaurant to us on our way back from vacation. We were so glad we did! The food was good and reasonably priced. The Place de l'Hôtel de Ville is shaded and has a relaxed lunchtime atmosphere. The waitresses were very friendly. Highly recommended.

19/07/2026: Affordable menus, carefully prepared traditional dishes (kudos to the Chef!), and excellent service (thank you to the waitresses for their smiles and good cheer). Easy to get to, I highly recommend it!

06/10/2026: We went on a Saturday. The setting is lovely, and the food is excellent. The dishes are varied, beautifully presented, and a pleasure to eat. The children's menu is perfect. The only downside is the noise. When the restaurant is full, the hubbub makes conversation impossible. The tables are very close together, and the layout of the room amplifies the noise. We will definitely go back, but on a less busy day.

21/10/2026: I went for lunch today with a friend – a pilgrimage, really – I'd been back in 2009. We were treated like royalty – the traditional cuisine was exceptional – the owner was incredibly kind and down-to-earth – a truly delightful experience.

19/09/2026: Always such a pleasure to come to La Guinguette! 😋😋 😋😋😋😋 A true delight, a warm welcome, a unique setting, and a delicious menu—a real cocktail of happiness that makes you want to come back again and again. The cooking, for both meat and fish, is a testament to expertise and a passion for the craft. The desserts are all homemade! 😋 It's a real treat to have it in Plessis Robinson. Thank you for leaving the kitchens of La Rotonde in Paris to share all this expertise and generosity with us on our plates!

19/10/2026: An address you absolutely must discover!!! The chef's homemade foie gras is so delicious that we ordered some to take away at a very reasonable price. The service and welcome are attentive and pleasant. High-quality, homemade products; the chef's sauces are a delight for the taste buds, and the dishes are a feast for the eyes. We highly recommend this restaurant, which is a rare find these days.

18/10/2026: We came to eat on a Saturday evening when the waitress was unwell, but the chef, who was both serving and cooking, served us with kindness and attention. We had a very good meal. The flavors and presentation were excellent. Thank you for this comfortable and peaceful experience.

09/10/2026: Hello, The hotel is perfect in terms of location, food, and service. I especially want to thank one person who made my return to the hotel so pleasant each evening. Unfortunately, I don't remember their name, but you'll recognize yourself. The service was exceptional, with a level of kindness I've rarely experienced. They were genuinely smiling morning, noon, and night, helping me, etc. It was nothing like anything I've ever experienced! So thank you very much, and I look forward to seeing you again.

17/10/2026: AVOID this restaurant! Warning ⚠️ scam! On Saturday, October 10th, we had lunch at this restaurant with friends. We waited an hour. The service was completely disorganized. The waitress was unpleasant. The hygiene and cleanliness of the place were very questionable. A complete fiasco. Dessert was never served! When it came time to pay, the manager refused to acknowledge our dissatisfaction and offered a 10% discount, BUT since we hadn't received our desserts, she assumed we were ordering à la carte. Therefore, higher prices! I refused to pay under these conditions. She still scanned my credit card, which I was holding, without asking my permission. I alerted my bank and my insurance company to initiate legal proceedings. Beware of the dishonesty of this establishment. I am available if you have had similar experiences. We are looking for other people who have had these unpleasant experiences.

29/10/2026: Excellent starter, chef's salad, my wife's egg was perfect. For my main course, my wife had lamb skewers cooked perfectly, and I had a steak. I ordered it rare, but it arrived overcooked, which I joked about with the waiter. No big deal, it was still very good. The authentic, old-fashioned setting is a welcome change from overly modern restaurants; a return to our roots is refreshing. Don't change a thing except maybe how you cook my meat. Carlos

27/10/2026: The pre-booked table wasn't ready. We waited 15 minutes at the entrance. The foie gras was excellent. The lamb on the bone was old and undercooked, raw, and lacking the flavor of salt and pepper. After I told the waiter about it, they cooked it overcooked, overcooked it, and it was completely edible! The waiter had a haughty smile and wasn't welcoming! When you order a dish for 40 euros, you want to enjoy the taste and quality!

01/10/2026: Lovely terrace, friendly and quick service, reasonable prices. But the food wasn't great: smoked herring full of bones, very fibrous meat, soggy fries cooked in their skins (organic?), and a salad drowning in salad dressing! It's a shame; with a little more care in the preparation, this meal could have really appealed to me.

09/10/2026: We wanted to try Café de Paris after its recent reopening and had lunch there today as a group of three. We were very disappointed for a brasserie that claims to serve bistronomic cuisine: the Norman-style veal escalopes arrived lukewarm, and we asked for them to be reheated. The fries (supposedly homemade… which I sincerely doubt) arrived completely white, barely cooked, and barely warm, with just two or three small lettuce leaves on the side. The plate served was sad and sparsely filled. A huge disappointment. The only positive point: the service was decent.

12/09/2026: An exceptional restaurant, well worth the journey. An incredible selection of dishes for a restaurant so isolated at the top of the mountains, and remarkably affordable prices for the quality offered. Full support to this restaurateur who is overcoming the isolation caused by the long and winding road to Romme-sur-Cluses in our region. The town of Romme-sur-Cluses is fortunate to have a restaurateur capable of such a feat. In some parts of France, this kind of expertise would be highly sought after, and premises would be provided free of charge to practice his culinary art! Good luck and continued success.
