20/12/2025: Excellent experience at Noosa Café in Bazas! We had a wonderful meal; the open-faced sandwiches were absolutely delicious and prepared with care. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing time. The service was simply perfect, friendly, and attentive. We will definitely be back!

22/09/2024: Had a great lunch here, sitting outside in the pretty square. The Maître d' speaks perfect English (with a strong US accent!) and was able to explain the finer points of the menu. Closes for the winter months but definitely looking forward to returning next year.

19/09/2024: We booked this hotel over the phone. We arrived late in the afternoon and had dinner. Very kindly welcomed by the landlady who took us to our spacious, clean and well-equipped room (newly renovated!). We went down for dinner. The menu offered included 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts to choose from. After some advice from the waiter, very pleasant and friendly, knowing his dishes well, we placed our order. And what a surprise it was a dinner full of flavors, an explosion in the mouth which exalted the right mix of spices and a Limousin meat cooked to perfection accompanied by small vegetables which went well with this beautiful piece of meat!!. All the praised products were fresh and cooked by the Chef 🧑‍🍳 Edith, the boss!!. It was such a beautiful and good place that we had lunch there on Sunday afternoon. We highly recommend Douce Demeure in Mortemart, the only village classified as "the most beautiful village in France in Haute Vienne!!. See you soon for another "gastronomic" stopover!!."

22/07/2025: A particularly pleasant stopover in Murols thanks to the welcome we received at the brand new gîte (excellent bedding, every comfort) and the welcome we received at the inn, where the food is delicious. Both establishments belong to a charming couple who don't skimp on quality or quantity. At breakfast, we continued the already rich exchanges we had the day before and left... Rejoicing that we'll be back soon!!! Thank you so much!!

14/12/2025: A wonderful welcome at Le Zinc in Poissy. Lola, the new waitress, is absolutely lovely: smiling, attentive, and always pleasant. The service is excellent and efficient, and the atmosphere remains as warm and inviting as ever. A real pleasure to come here.

24/01/2026: We've been going to this restaurant regularly for several years. And we're never disappointed. The ingredients are carefully chosen, and it shows in our meals. The service is impeccable. And a little extra that we would have loved for our twins: a dedicated children's area! Good meal.

18/01/2026: Two lunches last week and both were perfect! The meals were excellent. Special mention to the couscous on Friday and Saturday! It was a bit noisy at lunchtime because it was so busy, but it was still reasonable and typical for this type of establishment. In short, I recommend it.

01/10/2025: A bit of a shy welcome, the service was very good👍I had a fondue🫕 with charcuterie+🥗+🍷 and an ice cream🍨 for dessert+☕. The portions were generous and the products were good with a downside for the charcuterie 🤔 In the room, just a few 🕸️ too many canvases 🙄

04/01/2026: Crêpe dinner 1 week ago. Overall: The batter for the galettes and crêpes was very good. The sweet and dry ciders were excellent. Butter galette: Served on a cold plate with very little butter => acceptable. Complete galette with mushrooms: Generous, hearty, and served on a warm plate this time => excellent. Chocolate and coconut crêpe: Unfortunately, there wasn't enough chocolate, but overall it was good. What I didn't understand is why the chocolate-coconut crêpe costs €1 more than the plain chocolate crêpe, and why a plain chocolate crêpe with slivered almonds costs €2 more. I would add that using filtered water for the carafes would help avoid the bleach smell in the tap water of Le Mans. From a culinary point of view, the overall result was good. Our waitress was friendly and smiling. The setting is pleasant, and the service is quite fast for a table of about 10 guests.

03/12/2025: The Golden Star! What a pleasure to return to this restaurant, which hasn't changed a bit! I used to go there very regularly with my parents and family. I no longer live in Alsace, but I will definitely be back, because the dishes, the tarte flambée, and the new, reimagined desserts are excellent. The welcome is very warm, and you don't have to wait to be served. The Bruckmann family has remained true to its high standards of service and hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. A huge thank you to the Bruckmann family, the Golden Star.

01/12/2025: Family meal (10 people) to try tarte flambée. I found them rather inconsistent: one was overcooked, another had very little bacon, another had an excessive amount of onions. In short, it wasn't bad, but I've had much better tarte flambée. The service is very good, only one beer is offered on tap, the restaurant is a bit dated, with a dirty ceiling and old-fashioned feel. Large dining room, a bit noisy. Very large parking lot, wheelchair accessible.

30/12/2025: We were told this restaurant was "the best pizzeria/restaurant in Aix-en-Provence" (which is false). The pizzas were good, but the waiter was very unpleasant. A man in his thirties. Not a smile on his face, not pleasant at all. We only ordered pizzas—six pizzas for six people (since it's a pizzeria/restaurant)—and he made a comment about not ordering a "real meal" in an annoyed tone. He seemed irritated for almost the entire meal. We all felt very awkward ordering only pizzas instead of meals. The service was redeemed by a very kind waitress who created a much better atmosphere, but we were quite disappointed. I'm sure I won't be going back.
