05/06/2026: An authentic and delightful spot, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Porte de Saint-Cloud. Nestled in a charming square shaded by trees, we had the pleasure of discovering this wonderful place. The terrace is simply exceptional, and the interior is wonderfully cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish, and the staff was incredibly attentive. Thank you for the warm welcome, and we hope to return very soon!

12/07/2026: A very unpleasant experience. Initially seated on the terrace, we asked if it would be possible to move inside as we were too hot, given the heatwave. There were free tables, but we were told it wasn't possible and that, and I quote, "I won't use the word, but people, one minute they're too hot, the next they're too cold [...]". In short, we understood perfectly well that we were inconveniencing them! We left immediately. We continued on to the village of Le Fret where we received a very warm welcome and had a very good meal. Having later read a review indicating that someone had been refused entry to this establishment because they were mixed race, I certainly don't regret not having dined there!

02/02/2026: This is the place you are actually looking for. Real French food, all home made, including the dessert. The cheese is all from a local farm. The wine selection is moderately priced but very typical and indicative of the region. The menu is small and perfect, with traditional dishes and just the right amount of creativity. Amazing view of the river, and very thoughtful and proper service. The decor is a bit sad, but who cares. Go here, it's amazing.

30/01/2026: The setting was nice, the service decent, but there was no heating, so it was a bit chilly (even though these days people are trying to save money, there's a happy medium)! Luckily, we had a drink to warm up. As for the meal, we were disappointed, mainly by the fish dish on a bed of boiled leeks, which was tasteless, and the very basic dessert, a sort of tartine. We had been here several times and had never been disappointed. What's going on to cause such changes?

02/07/2026: Delicious food, special mention for the seafood sauerkraut, and attentive service (thank you for your special attention to my husband's birthday). We will be back.

06/04/2026: We had a wonderful family evening in a pleasant, cozy setting. We received a very warm welcome and the staff were very attentive. The meal featured excellent ingredients and a wide variety of flavors; the cuisine was refined. My only slight criticism was not the value for money of the set menu, but rather the added extras. For example, the daily special shouldn't have these extras, as they're already included in the menu. In fact, they might not even be necessary; we could simply stick to the set menu and add a few items to the à la carte menu if needed. Otherwise, we have absolutely no complaints; on the contrary, we will definitely return. The service was perfectly executed. There was no waiting and no need to ask for anything.

17/03/2026: The setting was pleasant, and the owner was very friendly, explaining a bit about the history of the 12th-century castle. However, for the price, I found the food quite basic.

17/05/2026: A single set menu for €17: a buffet of starters, main course, dessert, and a quarter-liter of wine. Plenty of choice, perfectly acceptable quality, and generous portions. No separate menu for children. Not a big deal, really, given the price. Except when you ask to swap the wine for another drink and are told they'll get... a carafe of water 🤣 A splash of grenadine would have been fine... Oh well!

20/03/2026: A really lovely, friendly place. They cook everything from scratch here, and it shows. Lots of little touches, attention to detail, and it makes all the difference. It's smart cuisine at reasonable prices. The staff is very kind and attentive. A great find for those looking for real home-cooked meals. Excellent value for money.

14/07/2026: It's a beautifully decorated bar. The staff were friendly and attentive. Chaima looked after us, she was so kind and did a super job. We think this bar is the best in Paris! It has a good selection of delicious food and drinks. Many thanks to the team, when we're back in Paris, we'll definitely come again! <3

28/05/2026: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Sainte-Maxime. I had made a mistake with the booking date, but despite that, the gentleman still accepted us, which was very much appreciated. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. We also ate at the hotel restaurant: the prices are very low compared to other places in the area, and the meal was excellent. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Special mention also goes to the €10 breakfast, which was very generous and of very good quality. Honestly, we have nothing but praise and highly recommend this establishment!
