This restaurant was still open and the owner cooked dinner on Friday evening just for me; THANK YOU 👍
I ate ½ baked reblochon with an assortment of cold meats and potatoes all accompanied by a green salad, it was very good and very filling. And for dessert, an equally good chocolate fondant heart.
Being at the end of the season there wasn't much left on the menu but my choice was still difficult because there was competition. 😁

Nous commandons 2 plats du jour ( lotte et purée de buternutt) qui arrivent servis avec une purée de pommes de terre…
Après j’en fais simplement la remarque sans plus.
Au moment de régler, je demande gentiment si étant donné que ce qui était prévu n’a pas été servi une ristourne est envisagée.
Et alors le serveur avec beaucoup d’agressivité me répond que je faisais un focus sur le butternut😂 et me crie dessus..
J’étais estomaquée, ses collègues moins qui semblent avoir l’habitude de son comportement et essayent de rattraper un peu la situation…
Bon, on m’a offert les cafés 😊 mais le pourboire ( que je donne bien volontiers) est resté dans ma poche !!!
Je suis partie très choquée!!
04/09/2024: Beware of tourist scams! You get a lunch menu you didn't order and pay dearly for it.
we went to the restaurant to drink two cappuccinos. The waiter served us two cappuccinos and a lunch menu each which we had not ordered. I told him that I was not hungry and that I had not ordered it. The waiter said everything was OK, the food was from yesterday. I interpreted this as free or at least for a small tip. In the end we paid €60 for both cappuccinos. I noticed that the local guests were not served an extra menu which they had not ordered.

30/08/2024: It's a really very pleasant place known in the city, you can drink a good mousse or any other drink there, you can eat rather good home cooking, eating outside in the middle of the country ☀️ it's a bit difficult all the same but the sun is better than the rain.
The staff is courteous to people 🙂.
Stop at this place for me it's worth it 👍!

We ate with our association in the room upstairs, a lovely, quiet and friendly space. The meals were very good and varied, with various choices, everything was good. We come back regularly and are always well received and served. It's a shame that the terrace is closed for metro work, but I recommend coming and discovering the interior room.
18/12/2024: A succulent dish yesterday as usual, a delight, everything perfect: fresh products, 5-star chefs and service and a warm, family atmosphere

24/08/2024: Truly typical Parisian bistrot just facing the jardin du Luxembourg. Very welcoming, friendly and energetic staff even if I turned up with 2 kids ;) The dining room full of character, good menu, lots of daily specials, and very accommodating for kids taste bud. Very reasonable prices and much better than many tourists trap in the area
21/08/2024: A little gem. Marc, the manager, makes this neighborhood cafe special. We stayed a few doors down and ended up here several times simply because he made it such a pleasure to return. Great daily dinner specials. The Sunday chicken - yum. A wonderful spot to take in the vibe of Paris. Can’t wait to come back next year.

27/10/2024: Complete failure for this new address. The menu is ridiculous and lacks choice. The dishes are barely edible. Even the bread is not good and seems to be from the day before. The prices are insane. Absolutely avoid.

As a main course, the pizza, although a little expensive, was quite good.
On the other hand, for dessert, the profiteroles were frankly disappointing. When paying the bill, my interlocutor (perhaps the manager) recognized that it was not homemade. Certainly, this is a good point to admit. But it's a very bad point to serve industrial profiteroles and dare to charge 9 euros for them... As a customer, you don't feel respected and that ruins the whole experience in this establishment. Another questionable dessert: the tiramisu advertised as “traditional” and sprinkled with speculoos crumbs.
In short, if I have to come back, I will settle for a main course.

23/08/2024: Tous le ans je viens chercher de la fouace pour ramener chez moi car c'est la meilleure, cet établissement est très réputé... Vous pouvez avoir des fouaces de 500 grs, 1 kg, 2kgs, ou 5 kgs. Possible de congeler, je vous conseil vivement si vous passer à Laguiole de vous arrêter pour en prendre.
