15/05/2026: A very warm welcome awaits you at this tasteful establishment. The breakfast is very generous. Everything is homemade and delicious. The charming owner does the cooking. You can also have lunch or dinner. The dishes are delicious and also homemade. Everything is fresh, which is very pleasant. The room is spacious and very clean. The garden is lovely, perfect for relaxing on a sun lounger. The owner is very friendly and has a great sense of humor. She's the one who serves you. Always smiling and pleasant. Don't take advantage of her, though! They both have strong personalities. I'm really looking forward to seeing them again ♥️

06/02/2026: A very warm welcome and a perfect location, just a 3 or 4 minute walk from the narrow streets of the town center and the port: simply follow the pretty little stream. The breakfast buffet was very nice, and there's also a good restaurant in the hotel, but we didn't have the chance to try it.

04/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! A charming little hotel with a comfortable and beautifully decorated room. You immediately feel at home. Dinner was excellent: homemade, generous, and truly delicious. A big thank you to the hosts, who were particularly welcoming and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. A truly lovely place to stay that I highly recommend!

14/04/2026: A typical northern-style tavern with hearty, high-quality dishes. Friendly and efficient service. A unique setting for a convivial experience.

06/03/2026: A huge disappointment right from the start: the first Kir Royal was sparkling, the second bland. Two out of four meat dishes were very poor quality and probably expired; we sent them back. No dessert was served.

27/05/2026: Excellent pizza. The size of a plate, with a thick, soft crust. I ate there for lunch; the place was calm and friendly.

16/01/2026: Excellent restaurant. The pizzas are superb, and the beef is flavorful and tender. I highly recommend this restaurant.

15/02/2026: The service is useful, but the attitude of the staff completely discourages any desire to return. With a warmer welcome, this place could be a real asset to the local community. Unfortunately, that's its main weakness right now!

10/07/2026: A wonderful time celebrating my eldest son's birthday. The two lads, aged 8 and 5, devoured their perfectly prepared ribeye steaks before the delicious dessert.

04/05/2026: The restaurant has changed owners, and therefore its name. It's a shame the food isn't the same as before. We've been ripped off; no more burgers, fries, steak tartare, etc.! What a pity.

14/03/2026: First, I can confirm that parking is easy nearby. Second, the dining room is spacious and the tables are well-spaced. The furniture is beautiful. As for the food, there were five of us and we all unanimously loved it. Finally, the staff is fantastic and very friendly. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

26/06/2026: We came this Thursday evening following positive reviews on Google. The restaurant was warm and welcoming, and the mussels with Bleu d'Auvergne cheese were exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the main course to dessert. The quality and price were outstanding, and the food was homemade. I highly recommend it. We will be back!

26/06/2026: Attentive and friendly waitress, menu perfectly suited to the heatwave, tomato tart with flavorful tomatoes and a very well-balanced seasoning. A cold roast beef and an absolutely excellent homemade ratatouille. A generous floating island dessert. I highly recommend it.

03/07/2026: Invited for work, I was immediately charmed by the decor and the various indoor and outdoor spaces. The lunch menu is incredibly competitive (€20 for a starter, main course, and dessert), the dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. There was a bit of a wait for the very friendly service, though. The only downside was the parking. Don't hesitate, it's a great place.

04/06/2026: We came to the Basque Country for our honeymoon, as it's where we got engaged. We arrived late in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and went to the first place we saw. We know it's almost impossible to find a bad place to eat in this region anyway. However, we didn't expect this place to completely exceed our expectations. The staff was warm and welcoming from arrival to departure. We ordered a starter and a main course, but we couldn't resist their desserts. Every bite was perfect. The next day, we couldn't stop thinking about Bar Basque. We returned the following night. We were greeted a second time by the staff and then tried the other dishes they had on offer. Again, the food was incredible. I think it might be the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience first-class hospitality and delicious food. Thank you all for being part of our honeymoon. We'll be back!
