25/09/2026: We ate there with our family. The staff were all very friendly. However, the food wasn't particularly outstanding. The cordon bleu was deliciously crispy and juicy. The prices were also reasonable. The steak, on the other hand, was tough, riddled with sinew, and not really tasty. I mean, a cordon bleu isn't exactly a culinary masterpiece and should be mastered if you're going to offer it. The same goes for the steak, although I think there's much more that can go wrong. But if you want to stand out, you should know how to cook. We also ordered additional drinks at one point, which were simply forgotten. The salad for the cordon bleu and steak came in a large salad bowl, like at home. It was just a simple green salad without anything else – just green leaves. It tasted okay, but it was bland. I would have preferred a nicely presented small side salad with, for example, croutons, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. All in all, we've been there twice now and haven't been particularly impressed either time. Therefore, we tend to conclude that the food and service are not very good.

24/09/2026: It's impossible to reserve a table by phone because no one answers. We tried to reserve via their website, and the response was that the request had been received, but that an email would follow. We've been waiting for that email for two weeks. We won't be trying to get a table there again.

26/09/2026: Enjoyed our 23 euro set menu. Food well presented and felt authentic, delicious. Bustling staff had an authentic air to them who were mostly patient with our limited french language skills. Would return

25/10/2026: The food is delicious and the staff is very kind. Personally, I would redecorate the place a bit, but in terms of dining service, I have no complaints. I highly recommend it.

20/10/2026: After the funeral service, the SO Club organized a reception for us in a private room. We were warmly welcomed, the staff were perfectly in keeping with the theme, discreet, very professional, and attentive to everyone. They provided everything we needed, from drinks to canapés. We thank all the staff and highly recommend the SO Club for your events, whatever they may be.

11/10/2026: We came to SO Club for dinner. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming! We ordered several dishes: steak tartare, a classic burger, and a butcher's cut. The burger and steak tartare came with generous portions of fries and salad. However, the butcher's cut only had a handful of fries (even though it was the most expensive item...). We decided against dessert because of the high prices. A chocolate lava cake costs €8, and a lemon meringue tart costs €9. Given the current economic climate, we decided to skip dessert this time. We also noticed that SO Club offers roast chicken for dine-in or takeout. However, I don't understand why the takeout price is higher than the dine-in price. For me, this is a business inconsistency: it should be the other way around! We will, however, return another time, hoping that this feedback will help you improve!

20/09/2026: Restaurant located on a street with easy parking. Everything was perfect: the service, the meal was excellent, very sophisticated, and beautifully presented. I highly recommend it.

14/09/2026: Good morning, when we arrived with a reservation, we were seated on the patio, in the sun, the food was on the table and there were flies, they didn't offer us any solution and the maître d' treated us with contempt and the guide María José was told to leave, I think it is a lack of foresight and respect, both to the diners and to the product.

12/05/2026: I stayed there for 5 nights. Apart from the cold, the lack of a fridge and especially a kettle, I had no complaints. The entire team was incredibly welcoming! The price was reasonable. The food was excellent! The ravioli were sublime! Thank you!

17/05/2026: An excellent stay at this hotel and restaurant; highly recommended! Very quiet, a short drive over to Argenton. Accessible parking. The room was simple and modest size, but clean and fresh, w little courtyard w table and chairs behind and parking right in front, and renovated bathroom. Very good restaurant!! Friendly helpful staff and management. And the best breakfast on this 4 night trip!! Fresh orange juice, good bread and cheese, and delicious "real " croissants, not those nasty little things now often found at hotel buffet breakfasts.

25/04/2026: A lovely place to stop on your way south. A friendly, family atmosphere. The room was perfectly adequate. There was a swimming pool and jacuzzi (although the jacuzzi was closed). A very warm welcome and an excellent evening meal. It alone is worth the trip. Good breakfast.

09/07/2026: A beautiful terrace with a magnificent view of Lake Sainte-Croix, a truly pleasant setting for an evening. However, we were a little disappointed by the menu: several advertised dishes were no longer available, as were a large portion of the wines offered. This is a shame, as it greatly limits the choice. The food was decent, without being exceptional. Despite these few drawbacks, we still had a lovely evening thanks to the beautiful setting.

31/05/2026: We stumbled upon this place while looking for a stay for the last weekend of May and were pleasantly surprised. While there's no air conditioning, the warm welcome, the lake view, and the absolute tranquility more than make up for it!

07/05/2026: Always a warm welcome, very good lunch menu with a well-prepared daily special, the homemade desserts are delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I recommend it for a work lunch break.

02/10/2026: A lovely experience with everything homemade. Simple but effective. The daily menu offers a choice of two main courses and several desserts (all homemade!). All for €16, including coffee. We loved it, we'll be back, and highly recommend it.

23/09/2026: Went here for an early dinner before class and was not disappointed! Sandro was so kind and friendly—he learned we were exchange students and we learned he was from the same small town in Italy I visited a while back! He gave us pretzels before our meal and the food itself was delicious. Very warm and friendly atmosphere—will definitely be back!
