To be honest, the clientele is perfect, the team is very friendly, pleasant, caring, and responsive, and the atmosphere is cheerful and the content is very interesting. I appreciate this very much, and it's well-deserved and managed. The diversity of experiences and expectations is truly appreciated and handled well overall. Thank you for the warm and friendly welcome, the rare human connection and trust, humility, and honesty. Above all, the setting is respected as it should be, the servers are very good, generous, and kind, and the manager is very caring, respectful, cordial, and available to answer questions and meet expectations. In any case, thank you for your trust, welcome, understanding, consideration, coordination, cooperation, professionalism, and especially the quality of the customer service. The relationship-building aspect is important and effective. Take care of yourselves and the mental, financial, and economic health of businesses, entrepreneurs, employees, managers, bosses, and human resources. 01/08/2026: Not unpleasant, but not exactly pleasant either. The waiter served chips to two tables (probably friends) and nothing to the other tables. A bit much... so we went to have a second drink somewhere else!

27/10/2026: This restaurant is one of our favorites in France. We went there last year, and our opinion is confirmed this year as well! The welcome is very pleasant and the food is excellent. The Welsh rarebit and the omelets are delicious. My children have been asking me to take a vacation up north so we can go back!

11/10/2026: We were deeply disappointed... we ordered the supposedly homemade daily specials, but the vegetables were canned, like they belonged in a couscous dish. The chicken and fish were equally undercooked and served in a tasteless sauce. And don't even get me started on the Muscadet wine! We decided to leave without dessert.

04/10/2026: A warm atmosphere, incredibly welcoming staff, always smiling and cheerful. Musical and artistic evenings are held every Saturday with top-notch singers who create a fantastic atmosphere. The menu offers delicious and generous meals, excellent cuisine, impeccable hygiene, and beautiful presentation. I highly recommend this friendly, family-run restaurant. Whether with friends or family, you'll love the carefully prepared meals and create unforgettable memories. You won't want to go back.

23/07/2026: A terrible experience to absolutely avoid. The staff is extremely rude and unpleasant. The breakfast jam was moldy, and they didn't even bother to apologize! Furthermore, they charged us for dishes they never served, and the bill was exorbitantly high. Cleanliness and customer service were appalling.

27/08/2026: The owner was fantastic; we had a wonderful time in this warm and friendly bistro. The Picon/beer and Bazas spritz were excellent. It's a shame we didn't get to try the food (so I can't rate it), especially the real Bazas beef, not just cow's milk ;-)

12/09/2026: I stopped at this restaurant hoping to enjoy the mango tartare on the menu, but I was told it wasn't available that day. Once seated, and my husband having made his choice and ordered it, out of respect for the restaurant owner, I didn't want to leave. I gave the waiter free rein to serve me a salad without any meat. So, thank you to the chef and the waiter, as I thoroughly enjoyed a very delicious salad. Thank you also to the owner of this restaurant for coming to see me and apologizing. We will return, but I will call ahead to reserve the fruity tartare. 😉 It's a very welcoming little restaurant where it's pleasant to chat with your neighbors. Returned yesterday, September 11, 2026, to this restaurant. The aioli was very good, however, a 50cl carafe of rosé and a 25cl non-alcoholic beer: €19.50, too expensive. Drink prices have gone up, but still 😔.

29/09/2026: La Méridienne captures everything wonderful about the South of France. Delicious, flavoursome food, excellent value and a relaxed atmosphere beside the beach. No music needed—just conversation, sunshine, sand and the sound of the sea. With its friendly people and loyal customers, it’s an absolute must when visiting this part of the world.

05/09/2026: Food was okay, but the service was really disappointing. We asked for a table for two and were told to sit anywhere, which is fine. We then waited forever just to place our order, even though 4–5 staff were standing around chatting. No cutlery, no napkins, and we had to ask for everything. Basic service was missing. Definitely not a good experience and we wouldn’t come back.

15/10/2026: A truly warm and genuine welcome, full of sincerity and kindness! The leg of lamb was incredible, and the flank steak was wonderfully flavorful! I highly recommend it ☺️

15/10/2026: A fantastic bistro where you can still feel the true French flair! The owner has a direct but very charming manner. And the beef tartare is absolutely amazing! So is the Île flottant!

08/05/2026: Review hôtel Wimereux I barely knew anything about this hotel when I booked it. Its very hard to find a room for a 3 person family. Inwas just happy to have found somewhere affordable we could spend the night before heading to Ireland. It turned out to be brilliant. It’s in the mainstreet of the centre of a little seaside/river side town. 7 minute walk from the beach and boulevard. We had a clean adorable 4 bed apartment. Our daughter had her own room. The staff were old school. Extremely helpful, caring, friendly, patient and polite. The restaurant serves fresh well prepared food (surf and turf) and the desserts are to die for. The music in de restaurant and hotel is pleasantly eclectic and at a non-intrusive volume. The restaurant has some lovely old features and apparently stems from 1848 . We wanted to sit in the beautiful garden terras to eat our puds and the lovely staff immediately followed us to make sure we were comfortable with blankets and a fire. The staff here are incredibly alert and acute. I’m disgustingly particular about hotel and restaurant service, because I’ve worked extensively in hospitality. It can make or break the experience. A hotel can be made of gold, but if the staff don’t care enough about hospitality it might as well be a dump. Not so in this case, they were amazing. The hotel is old and in need of some cosmetic repairs but they’ve kept some of the old furnishings. The mozaïk floor is original and the restaurant lamps are too. The mattrasses were great, blankets warm and enough extra stuff, pillows were a bit flat and hard, the ONLY minus! There is an elevator! Everything was very clean and the cleaning fluids used pleasantly scented. Definitely recommended for anyone, any age almost any family group.

30/05/2026: I have never been to this establishment, as it is difficult to access due to the sidewalk being obstructed by the branches of your hedge. Would you be so kind as to trim your shrubs, which encroach on the sidewalk and therefore the public right-of-way, forcing pedestrians to either duck their heads or walk in the road? Thank you.
