09/06/2026: I didn’t really enjoy this place. We had to sit about 20 yards from a bus stop where a bus came every 5 minutes, which wasn't ideal. The staff were okay, though they seemed a little standoffish. The food came way too quickly—it was on the table almost as soon as we ordered, which always concerns me. The meal itself wasn't great either; it was very bland and basic. On the plus side, they played some good music and the atmosphere was nice. We usually like to stay after eating to have a chat, but we left straight after our food as the surroundings weren't the best. 6 out of 10.

09/06/2026: It's at the side of a busy main road, so there is a lot of traffic/ buses stopping etc. However they fit us in on a Friday night which was appreciated. The food was OK, not the best we've had in the area.

09/07/2026: Excellent value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant both on the terrace and inside.

09/07/2026: I went back to this restaurant in the evening, which still offers an attractive set menu at a lower price, but the portions have been drastically reduced since it opened. Before, you'd leave feeling full; now you're left hungry. What a shame, my enthusiasm for this place has plummeted...

19/07/2026: It was really great! Some items were missing and the food wasn't quite perfect, but that's what makes the place and the service so charming. The service was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We loved it and we'll be back!

12/07/2026: We had a wonderful time during our short stay in Reims. The steak tartare with Chaource cheese was absolutely divine; I'd make the trip again just for that dish!

14/06/2026: Passing by on my motorcycle on a Sunday at 1:00 PM, I received a warm welcome, fast service, and excellent food 😋 The entire team was also very friendly 😉

30/06/2026: When you book for 1 p.m. and the appetizer buffet isn't cleared until 1:30 p.m. When the entire table hasn't finished their meal. Don't even start clearing the plates. At the end, they bring us the bill without anyone asking if we want coffee. Perhaps you should consider updating your air conditioning, even if it's 37 years old.

15/07/2026: This restaurant is definitely one to avoid, especially during the summer months. I had two cases of food poisoning from the mussels and fries. The waiters are already overwhelmed even though the season has barely started and couldn't care less about your satisfaction (meal, service, etc.). It took over two and a half hours to get a single dish and a plate to share. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

28/03/2026: Excellent! A charming restaurant with a warm atmosphere and absolutely delicious meat. We enjoyed a perfectly cooked 30-day dry-aged cut, accompanied by a gratin dauphinois cooked in the fireplace—a true delight—and a lovely, generous salad. The wine list is also very well-curated and offers some excellent selections. Marvin's passion deserves to be highlighted: it's increasingly rare to meet people so dedicated to their craft. Surrounded by a fantastic team, you can feel a real cohesion and attention to detail that makes all the difference. I sincerely wish them every success, because they truly deserve it. If you're in the area, I highly recommend a visit to L’Œil de Bœuf! (Remember to make a reservation.) And of course, don't be in a hurry: here, they respect the product. A beautiful cut of meat deserves time… and the result is well worth it.

06/06/2026: I didn't try the rooms, but the restaurant is not worthy of a 3-star rating. The set menu consisted of a piece of pork loin with undercooked potatoes, a disgusting strawberry tart, bread that was three days old, and when I asked for ice cream instead of chocolate mousse, I got a scoop of strawberry ice cream.

20/06/2026: What a pleasant stay we had at this hotel! The welcome was very friendly and warm. The restaurant menu was varied, and the dishes we chose were delicious. The room was clean and quiet. All at reasonable prices.

26/04/2026: A very pleasant surprise at this restaurant. The setting is superb. My wife, daughters, and I are used to enjoying good food, and we were well served. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Special mention goes to the owners, Claire and Daniel, for their excellent welcome. I highly recommend it.
