17/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! The tarte flambée was excellent, with a truly delicious homemade crust. We were even invited to see the ovens in the kitchen and watch the tarte flambée being prepared – a very thoughtful touch. The family who runs the restaurant (three generations working in the kitchen at the same time!) is warm and welcoming, and we had a lovely time. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back, especially to try their award-winning bouchée à la reine!

10/06/2026: Perfect welcome. Booked using a Smartbox voucher. Nearby parking is available for €15 per day. We opted for a paid upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the river and the old castle, which we were very glad we did! A beautiful, functional room with an en-suite shower room, tastefully decorated for our recent wedding. Very comfortable bedding 👌. The private spa session was much appreciated. A delicious dinner with delightful cocktails and wines that we selected from the menu to complement our meal. The dining room was pleasant with bay windows facing the old castle. Breakfast the next morning was excellent with a wide selection of fresh, homemade, and local products (both hot and cold). We received a wonderful farewell at reception, as always, with a charming welcome. We were delighted with our stay. We highly recommend this establishment. Thank you to the entire team 🤗

01/06/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western in Clisson. The hotel is beautiful and very well located, but what truly makes the difference is the quality of the service. The entire team is exceptionally friendly and professional. The receptionists are smiling, available, and always ready to help (Soulaimane, Stéphanie, etc.). The breakfast staff are attentive and ensure everything runs smoothly. The same is true at the bar, where the welcome is warm and friendly. A big thank you to all the staff for their kindness and good humor, which contributed to making our stay so enjoyable. We will gladly return!

30/06/2026: We were delighted to be the last customers at Madison. We were welcomed late, but with a smile. The dinner was delicious, and the owners were very pleasant! 15/10/2026: We chose this restaurant before our trip based on reviews, and it definitely deserves its rating. Located between the Grande Place - Musée Saint-Louis and the Musée du Verre - Meisenthal, it was the perfect spot for lunch. We warmly thank them for welcoming us even though we didn't have a reservation. A word of advice to anyone passing through the area: be sure to book, as we saw the restaurant and terrace fill up within fifteen minutes! We were among the first customers, and I think that's what allowed us to stick to the schedule we had set for ourselves at home. We opted for the set menu (starter + main course + dessert), accompanied by a good coffee. Everything was delicious. We paid in cash, but I saw that they also accepted cards.

23/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! For me, it's truly one of the best places to eat in Marcq-en-Barœul. I had the breaded monkfish as a starter, then the monkfish couscous as a main course, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Special mention goes to the monkfish couscous, which was absolutely excellent. The service was also very pleasant: friendly, attentive, and efficient. The setting is lovely, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which made the meal even more enjoyable. And finally, the value for money is excellent. It's the kind of place where you have a great time, eat well, and want to come back. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely return.

18/09/2026: A lovely spot with a beautiful view of the Marcq racecourse (ideal on a sunny day). The menu features classic French dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive. A very wide selection of wines!

26/08/2026: On my third visit to the golf course in two years, I'm disappointed for the second time. The change of chef is definitely noticeable... I'm not talking about quality, but preparation. Being from the region, they could do much better without charging extra. The food was very simple, lacking any passion. No special touches whatsoever... just basic, simple, homemade fries that were dry, whether baked or air-fried. The tiramisu (whipped cream, speculoos crumbs) wasn't really tiramisu... In short, that was the last time. It's a shame, because the setting is magnificent.

20/08/2026: We were very pleased with the service and the food at this restaurant. There were 16 of us at the table for my mother's birthday, and we were all very well looked after! The portions were generous, the setting was lovely with a view of the golf course ⛳️, and the staff were very friendly and took group photos of us 😎. In short, we sincerely recommend this restaurant.

06/10/2026: The restaurant has a beautiful courtyard where you can sit comfortably, and it has a cozy atmosphere. The service is good and fast, and the staff is friendly. The menu consists mainly of flammenkuchen; however, I didn't find these particularly special. I have had better flammenkuchen before. They do have a wide selection of varieties, so that is nice.

27/09/2026: So I read the reviews and I think we must have gone to different restaurants. The old lady who greeted us was really unfriendly, and her daughter even less so. We waited almost half an hour before getting our order. The place itself is very beautiful, but the service needs improvement.

16/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The daily menu was simply excellent, with flavorful and well-prepared dishes. The service was friendly and efficient, all in a pleasant atmosphere. We were delighted to discover this place and would gladly recommend it. We will definitely be back!

14/03/2026: During a stroll, we discovered this café-brasserie-restaurant. A short menu, a guarantee of freshness and quality. Home-style cooking. Everything was perfect, with a special mention for the calf's liver and the very indulgent coffee. Efficient and friendly service. We'll be back! ☺️

12/08/2026: We spent one night at the hotel. Comfortable bedding and a spacious room. The restaurant is truly excellent; the terrace overlooking the Sioule River is very pleasant, and the owner, who is also the chef, is generous with his cooking. Everything was delicious. Thank you, Eric, for your hospitality. A bonus for motorcyclists who can park on the enclosed terrace. Our friend Stéphane will be coming to try your cuisine. Looking forward to it. Candy 😉

05/07/2026: We received a very warm welcome. Comfortable beds. The food is homemade. The Cantal cheese burger is excellent. Facing the river, the location is magical. We discovered a beach and swam in the warm river a little further upstream. I highly recommend it!
