26/01/2026: Excellent bakery! They have a wide selection of pastries, cakes, sandwiches, and all kinds of savory snacks. We recently bought several galettes (frangipane and brioche-style), and they were all absolutely delicious 😋 I highly recommend it!

21/01/2026: Excellent place. Every time we're in Strasbourg, we make sure to enjoy a delicious meal at this restaurant. Delicious Alsatian dishes at very reasonable prices. The staff is incredibly attentive. Go without hesitation; you won't be disappointed.

24/01/2026: Really disappointed by the mille-feuille; it was far too overcooked, the pastry cream was very sticky and dense, and it tasted burnt. A real shame because the shop itself is beautiful and well-stocked, and the service was adequate.

22/12/2025: Despite some negative reviews, we decided to try "L'Envie," and we weren't disappointed. A warm welcome, friendly and smiling staff, our dishes were beautiful to look at and delicious to eat—refined! Excellent value for money and homemade! A big thank you for this pleasant experience. A restaurant to recommend! We stopped by for lunch on Sunday the 21st for the Christmas market, a family of four.

02/01/2026: Your meal on December 31, 2025, was disappointing. The meat was served cold. The bread wasn't toasted for the foie gras. I didn't taste anything "homemade." There was no flavor from start to finish. The base of the tartlet was made with industrial chocolate. Where was the creativity? All this for 52 euros. I felt like I was eating Picard frozen food.

10/10/2025: Always nice to see a restaurant live up to its rating! The food was impeccable from start to finish, the service friendly, and the atmosphere warm: special mention for the terrine and cannelés (all homemade of course)! We plan to return.

21/12/2025: Finally! A real restaurant in Luchon: Hôtel d’Etigny. Review of a meal eaten in August, as the hotel is closed in winter. A very pleasant surprise. Impeccable service. Quality menus and dishes, a welcome change from the other restaurants in town, which too often resemble fast food. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

13/09/2025: Frankly, I'm surprised by all these negative reviews. A budget hotel with character, comfortable and spacious rooms, super friendly staff, from the reception to the waiters and waitresses (special mention to Mégane). A real chef, true service worthy of a French hotel, all at a very affordable price, especially for local and homemade products. In short, I loved it.

19/01/2026: We had a reservation, arrived an hour late, but had called ahead. We were seated immediately. The servers were attentive, helpful, and smiling. The food was excellent, generous portions, and the service was quick. We will definitely return. Thank you for your hospitality.

18/01/2026: Much disappointment upon returning. The all-you-can-eat flammenkueche has lost its variety. The Alsatian menu is good but not worth the price. As for the toilets, they're dirty and the door doesn't lock. We used to enjoy coming here, but we'll go elsewhere from now on.

17/12/2025: “If you’re Black, forget this café; if you’re Arab, forget it; if you’re a foreigner or not white, forget it; if you’re different, forget this café. At most, grab your cigarettes and get out of here!” These aren’t my words, but those of the neighboring shopkeepers 🤷‍♂️ Passing through the area after several hours on the road, I simply wanted to have breakfast on a sunny terrace. The welcome was icy from the moment the old woman walked into the tobacco shop: barely 10 seconds inside, we were curtly addressed. When we explained that we just wanted to have a coffee and buy cigarettes, we were told to stay outside (20 years in the brasserie business, never seen anything like it). It’s very clear that we’re not welcome if we’re not used to it. They took my money before I'd even started, I had to get my own ashtray, and the tone was unpleasant… I've rarely experienced such unprofessional service. Shocked, I preferred to go have a coffee elsewhere rather than make a scene. I crossed the street to talk to the shopkeepers, and apparently, it's lucky my name is Antoine and I'm from Picardy 😮‍💨 A shame for such a well-located place.
