12/09/2026: A huge thank you for this wonderful evening! The food was excellent, flavorful, and prepared with care. The chef's recommendation was a real gem that delighted our palates. The meal was accompanied by a superb selection of wines, perfectly paired with the dishes. A big thank you also to the front-of-house team: the service was exceptionally warm, attentive, and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant in Lyon – we will definitely be back!

02/09/2026: First evening in Lyon with a bit of a disappointment: truly bland risotto... mussels with only their shells... flavorless prawns... rice and peas so over-inflated with flavor that they lost their flavor; the cheeses on the finish were truly embarrassing... high prices for the quality of the dishes.

24/09/2026: An excellent choice, where bouchons are sometimes just tourist traps with mediocre food, Léa's stands out for the quality of its dishes. A warm and inviting atmosphere, very pleasant service, and above all, traditional Lyonnais dishes prepared with love—you can taste it in every bite! The best tablier de sapeur I've ever had in Lyon.

23/09/2026: I came on a recommendation. I discovered this place during lunchtime with my partner, who also loved it. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the welcome and service were very friendly. I loved the selection of wines by the glass, and the homemade iced tea was delicious 😋 The cuisine demonstrates skill and presents beautiful dishes as well as delectable desserts. The service was quick, the dishes arrived hot and well-presented, as did the desserts and drinks. Special mention for the vol-au-vent with foie gras, which I found spectacular 🤩 I'm a convert, and I'll be back as soon as I have the chance, this time for dinner. How could I not recommend this wonderful place?

11/10/2026: We had an awesome lunch here. My wife enjoyed her ravioli and I had the plat du jour: beef perfectly done, pork with sautéed onions, salad, grilled veggies and potatoes. Yea, I was pretty dang happy and the service was wonderful. Lot's a of good places in Paris but this one is on our "be back" list.

31/03/2026: A superb experience at Aldaburua restaurant! The setting is simply magnificent, with an exceptional view that makes the experience even more enjoyable. The service is warm, simple, and genuine; you immediately feel at ease. The menu is varied and generous, with something for everyone. I particularly loved my dish: as beautiful as it was delicious, a true delight from start to finish! A truly wonderful place that I highly recommend.

04/09/2026: Le Nimoinitoi, a sunny establishment with a southern flair, is located opposite Père Lachaise Cemetery. A welcoming and friendly place. The service and the food are perfect. We had a wonderful time. Special mention for the Tinto de Verano wine – we loved it! We will definitely return on our next trip to Paris. I highly recommend it.

30/07/2026: Cinq, near Gare de Clamart, is a small, chef-owned spot worth knowing about if you're in the area. We visited in June 2025 during Fête de la Musique. We shared a few dishes for around €30-40 per person: a creamy mushroom penne with crispy red onion, shaved parmesan and cracked black pepper; a cured salmon starter with grapefruit, pomegranate and passion fruit that came across bright and citrusy rather than heavy; a smash-style cheeseburger with melted cheddar on a sesame brioche bun, served with roasted fondant potatoes; and a chili con carne over roasted eggplant and squash with guacamole, pico de gallo and a cabbage slaw — an unexpected combination that worked well. We also had an Apérol Spritz iced tea, a nice twist on the usual spritz. What stood out most was the owner, who's also the head chef and clearly hands-on — he came by to check how the meal was going, which felt genuine rather than routine. Service was warm throughout. The space is small (I'd guess no more than 50 people at once) and nicely decorated without feeling fussy. Worth knowing: the menu changes often, so don't go expecting these exact dishes — it's more a reflection of the kitchen's overall consistency than any one item. I'd go back — the food held up across very different styles (pasta, seafood, burger, chili), and having the chef genuinely engage with diners is rare enough to matter.
