11/09/2026: A highly recommended stop. We came to visit the castle and the experience was fantastic. We ate on the terrace with beautiful views of the castle, ordered the ribeye steak to share between two, and the meat was delicious and cooked to perfection. The €6 supplement to add dessert is totally worth it: we ordered the chocolate fondant and the cheese board, a great touch because they bring you the whole board and you can serve yourself as you like. The service was excellent; the waiter spoke English and we understood each other perfectly.

08/09/2026: Funny and humorous chef... Pleasant and very good cuisine. Go there, great atmosphere, everything is fantastic. 26/09/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! This restaurant boasts magnificent cuisine, truly exceptional, worthy of a gourmet establishment. The service is top-notch, and the staff are incredibly pleasant and kind. We even brought our dog, who was very welcome. I recommend it 1000 percent! We're from Belgium, and we'll definitely be back when we're next in Calais. You can go there without hesitation.

19/09/2026: A great experience at Le Grand Bleu. My father thoroughly enjoyed his Toques d'Opale menu. Excellent from start to finish, which I highly recommend over the Plaisir menu I chose; it's a bit more traditional, but I still ate very well. Pleasant setting. Friendly staff.

06/08/2026: The welcome and service were absolutely impeccable: smiling, responsive, and attentive throughout the meal. As for the food, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! The pizzas were excellent, the dishes flavorful and generous, and we finished on an equally successful sweet note with truly outstanding desserts. We were a table of seven, and everyone was unanimously satisfied: not a single person was disappointed. A fantastic place that we wholeheartedly recommend!

19/09/2026: Obviously busy but was able to walk in without a reservation two separate times. The mussels are amazing!!! So fresh, not chewy, and rarely had an empty or closed shell.

29/09/2026: A very good experience. The service was friendly and the value for money was excellent. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, which we found very tasty. The only slight drawback was the noise; we were seated inside and at times we couldn't hear the menu descriptions clearly.

27/09/2026: I don't often leave negative reviews, but this time I have to say something. First of all, we arrived and were seated outside, and the table wasn't even cleaned before we put down our cutlery. Then we ordered burgers and fries. The burger I ordered was really bad. The beef was incredibly tough and inedible. For the price of a burger, that's completely unacceptable. I was expecting the steak to be cooked rare, but it was like rubber. The second burger was shredded chicken, but it tasted like nothing at all. It tasted like dog food. I was very disappointed with the fries, which arrived completely cold and tasteless. The bread is definitely not homemade; it smells strongly of processed food. I'm really disappointed because it's still very expensive for the quality. Since the food arrived barely five minutes after we ordered, I wouldn't be surprised to find out it was reheated and from the day before.

26/09/2026: A fantastic find at Aupa Caminito! I had the pulled pork croque monsieur, a real treat—generous and incredibly flavorful. Fresh lemon juice and to finish, a perfect gourmet coffee. Excellent food, friendly service, I highly recommend it!

19/07/2026: I received a gift certificate from friends for a cooking class at the Chefs Academy, and frankly, I wasn't disappointed. A very warm welcome, a bright and well-organized kitchen. The class was really enjoyable and in a great atmosphere, led by the chef and his assistant. The chef gave us tips and tricks for beginners like us. I'm really looking forward to attending another session. This time, we made pâté Lorrain, a pure delight. Long live the Chefs Academy!
