08/12/2025: Efficient and quick service. The dish (chicken curry stir-fry) was served piping hot, and there was no wait, which was much appreciated. The presentation of the brownie (more of a soft cake, actually) could be improved. Minimalist decor. The chef cooks right in front of you in the open kitchen. It's a bit noisy because it's small, but honestly, a convenient and friendly place. Small sidewalk terrace.

09/12/2025: A wonderful experience! The servers and chefs were very friendly! Everything was perfect 😀 We had the gnocchi with mushrooms and parmesan, and the beef tartare with foie gras—both excellent! We'll definitely be back.

08/12/2025: Excellent food and impeccable service. We started with delicious foie gras and continued with duck and free-range chicken, both cooked to perfection. The waiter recommended an excellent wine and took care of us with great professionalism, always making us feel at ease. During dinner, both the owner and the chef stopped by our table to ensure everything was to our liking: a truly rare and appreciated level of customer service. At the end of the meal, the complimentary liqueurs offered by the owner were the icing on the cake. This place is definitely worth a visit: we will gladly return.

23/01/2026: Discovered somewhat by chance after a day in Aix-en-Provence, we were welcomed without a reservation. We had heard about this place, and what a pleasant surprise! We discovered a very good restaurant offering rustic, flavorful, and well-prepared dishes made with quality ingredients. A great place to remember in the heart of Aix. I highly recommend it!

20/02/2026: We had a lovely meal here recently but the whole experience was tainted when the bill arrived. The server brought the card machine over and there was a suggested tip option. While this was optional, this is just not appropriate in France as service is always included (service compris). If someone wants to leave an optional tip, they can ask to add it, or leave cash, but it should not be the default option on the card machine as this is solely designed to catch out American tourists. This is the only restaurant that I have seen this option in all my holidays in France over many years! It felt like we were given this option as we were not speaking French, and I doubt they would have presented this option to a French speaking table. Very disappointing, especially for a Michelin recommended restaurant. RESPONSE TO RESTAURANT: Thank you for responding. Unfortunately I disagree that this is not within your control. The default screen for tips on your bank terminal is a feature that can be changed (you just may not want to). There is no other restaurant I have dined in in Megeve or France who has this as an option on the bank terminal. I would suggest you take this issue up with your bank so they can show you how to do it, as it affects the overall enjoyment for guests and leaves a negative impression of your intentions.

17/02/2026: A very enjoyable lunch with a variety of flavors centered around truffles. Everything was perfect, even if it wasn't quite perfect. The atmosphere in the kitchen was also excellent.

A very warm experience despite the constraints (a disabled person, an elderly person, and an infant); everything was done to ensure our comfort. The meal was exceptional. The cauliflower and lemon soup delighted our taste buds. The French toast transported us back to my grandmother's time. A big thank you!

03/02/2026: Thank you for introducing us to your restaurant, which was a completely impromptu discovery. We were so glad we did, thanks to your warm welcome, delicious food, and friendly atmosphere. Dining under the beautifully decorated pergola on the terrace, with sunshine, what more could we ask for? The dishes were excellent and beautifully presented: Foie gras terrine, duck breast with Sarlat-style potatoes or coq au vin from Bergerac, walnut cake, Chantilly cream and crème anglaise or crème brûlée. Thank you to the whole team!

18/01/2026: Passing through Hesdin-la-Forêt for work, I stopped for lunch. I hesitated before going in: I'm young, and the restaurant seemed to attract a rather older clientele. In the end, it was a very pleasant surprise. The staff is truly lovely, and you immediately feel a very family-oriented atmosphere, deeply rooted in village life. It's not at all overly familiar or inappropriate: it's warm, respectful, and natural. A rare balance. The menu is varied while remaining true to local produce, which allows it to appeal to a wide audience without losing its identity. I had a very good meal, with excellent value for money. The place is old, yes, but it's neither dirty nor run-down. It has character. The posters, the decor, everything tells a story. You get the feeling it's a restaurant that lives by its traditions: unique daily specials that change depending on the day of the month (for example, couscous on the first Sunday, blanquette de veau the following Sunday, etc.). This kind of place is something you can't just invent. There's also a beautiful outdoor setting, large tables, big gatherings, themed evenings… in short, a real hub of activity. I'm speaking directly to restaurant owners: this is exactly the kind of restaurant France needs, and that our villages need. These are the places that sometimes embody a part of the village's soul. I'm not from the area, but I will most certainly return during my next business trips. And I would really love the opportunity to experience your large communal tables.
