05/11/2024: Very welcoming and helpful staff, we arrived with a colleague at 2 p.m. to find out if it was possible to have a dish or snack to take away, the attentive cook offered us sandwiches and wraps, as well as dessert of the day. A big thank you to the whole team, everything was very good and at a very reasonable price.

27/10/2024: Arrived there this 10/27/2024 almost by chance! Nothing to regret, whether it was the welcome, the service or the quality of the dishes, it was very good. Very good value for money. We will come back.

25/12/2025: It's one of the few places open late near Futuroscope Park. Although it's self-service at first, you can order from the machine to save time, as there are two people serving everyone. Even though the food is homemade, I especially recommend the pizzas and hamburgers; the croque monsieur was just okay. It's reasonably priced; at €55, four of us had dinner.

01/12/2024: A nice surprise, a small reference restaurant in the 2023/2024 Michelin guide A la carte dish! Small downside, too much waiting. The scallop dish was very well presented, the cooking was perfect! The chestnut puree at the very least It would have deserved a vegetable accompaniment for the balance of the plate. The desserts were excellent

22/10/2025: I had a main course of cod and spinach. It was the worst piece of cod I've ever been served: tough, stringy, and undercooked.

01/02/2026: The welcome was pleasant, the main course quite decent, however the ice cream scoop must have been expired (tasteless and rubbery). Despite my comment, they ignored it and charged me for it even though I hadn't eaten it – not very customer-friendly. The setting must be lovely in the summer, but in winter the view of the neglected terrace is rather unpleasant. A shame.

28/01/2026: ❤️❤️❤️ Warm welcome, charming and authentic building. I simply ate there on January 28, 2026, and I was lucky enough to eat near the fireplace, but above all, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the taste, the aroma of the melt-in-your-mouth vegetables, and the tenderness of the meat, all accompanied by an excellent fresh dessert. All this the day after returning from a well-deserved 3-week vacation. A big thank you and well done! ❤️

26/12/2025: Perfect! Four people, including a 9-year-old, were delighted; everything was eaten. No complaints about the grilled meats, vegetables, fries, salads, wine, and desserts. 14/12/2025: This place is deplorable!!! A 1.5-hour wait for a meal, which was barely passable. The waiter, who has a limp, is unpleasant and makes the service very poor; it's high time he left! The brasserie/café is very well located in Forcalquier, which makes it a tourist trap. We didn't see the previous customers' ratings, what a shame, we would have gone elsewhere. Luckily the sun was shining. I strongly recommend eating somewhere else in Forcalquier.

The menu reflects the French country dining tradition, already present in this institution, featuring a starter, main course, cheese, and dessert. For example, a few local mushrooms flavored the main course, a perfect match for the season. Don't let the price be a deterrent; on the contrary, it's a match that will delight you thanks to a talented team that guarantees authenticity.

31/08/2025: I didn't eat at the chalet, but it's really worth noting that the access road is actually worse than the reviews say. It's almost impassable for an average car...

22/01/2026: Terrible! What awful service!!! Is a smile not even an option for the waitresses? Young and old alike... The team needs a complete overhaul. Who did the casting? These people spend so much time talking and laughing amongst themselves that there's none left for the customers. It's a shame because the location is nice.

06/12/2025: The restaurant wasn't bad, but you need to have plenty of time. We waited two hours to be served, even when we only asked for the children's menu. To their credit, it was very busy on St. Nicholas Day, and we were offered a complimentary aperitif while we waited.

The menu is very varied, with options for all tastes—meat, fish, vegetarian dishes, and even some local specialties. Each dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable from start to finish: the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to offer advice. We felt truly welcome. I recommend this place without hesitation, whether for a dinner with friends or a family meal. I'll be happy to come back!
