24/10/2025: A nice place not too far from Prie-Dieu station. Service was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the pork with aubergine - a delicious sauce.

25/09/2025: We booked a table at this restaurant as part of our vacation in Lyon. As a party of 64 of us had fillet steak Superb, one of the softest fillets I’ve ever had, however the fries were not particularly nice or appealing. My wife had prawns on a risotto base. The risotto had blue cheese mixed into it, not her taste so spoilt the dish, however we had a one year-old baby with us. The children’s meal was chicken fillets with chips. It was enormous but very well cooked. Luckily this gave my wife an alternative as the baby clearly could not eat the giant chicken fillets. Overall, the restaurant was very nice. Service was superb however the food did not match the ambience unfortunately.

23/12/2025: We enjoyed frog legs during a family meal. I eat them extremely rarely. They were delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed them, feeling like a child again. Well done to the chef. The desserts, however, were unremarkable.

26/11/2025: Very generous portions and very good food. Great atmosphere and beautiful setting. Friendly staff. I've been more than 5 times in 3 years and have never been disappointed. Remember to book in the summer.

20/01/2026: I was told your products were very good, but for a first experience, it was very disappointing. The King Cake was far too dense, compact, and indigestible. The frangipane was colored brown but tasteless, lacking the flavor and creaminess of real frangipane. The puff pastry had too much icing, was too crumbly, and seemed to lack butter. Edible, but not memorable. And yet, it was a gift from work. The King Cake prepared and sold by Auchan (the current sale, which I ate recently) is far superior to yours, no joke, and the same goes for the miniature frangipane galettes, all without additives or colorings. You should seriously review your recipes and take customer feedback into account...

We attach great importance to hospitality, respect, and the quality of our interactions with all our customers. We would like to point out, however, that the situation you describe does not reflect reality. Your behavior towards our team, and more specifically towards one of our employees whom you disrespectfully addressed because of his hair color, was unacceptable. We therefore had to intervene to maintain respect and serenity in our dining room. It is also regrettable to publish a negative review when you ultimately did not eat there. We remain open to constructive discussion, based on mutual respect.

16/12/2025: I'm quite surprised by the price difference between the two days. I find this bar's practices a bit questionable! I'm not trying to defame them, but I'd really like some clarification! A grenadine with water cost €2.80 at the beginning of November and €3.90 at the beginning of December. I won't be going back to this bar; that's it.

01/10/2025: It's certainly an old-fashioned place, but don't let that stop you. I've been going to Le Viennois for 15 years and I come for coffee every day or a meal from time to time with friends or suppliers. The owner is a deadpan, I love his offbeat humor, his sullen expression, but behind it all, he's a nice guy. His chef delights our taste buds with tasty and hearty dishes. The meat is excellent. His waitress is dynamic, smiling, and attentive. It's a friendly team, as are his regular customers. So don't hesitate to come in, you won't be disappointed. Humor is a must!

07/11/2025: We'd not been here for a few years after it closed between new owners. The menu was a choice of 2 mains. We had both and tried each other's. Massive plus, was HOT food and HOT plates. Something, other restaurants could do. Plenty of food. All nice. 3 course for 15.50e plus my wife had cheese.

26/08/2025: Disappointed with my experience, 4-5 reminders to several different people to try to get the cards to at least order a menu for our child, a duck breast served iced in the center with a tasteless morel sauce, it's a shame because the offer and the place are tempting. The server was very kind despite everything and the setting is very nice.

13/08/2025: The service wasn't great, and the food wasn't amazing either. Perhaps other users gave it 5 stars for the quick arrival of the water. However, 25 minutes to receive the menu is a bit long, even though it wasn't crowded. The burger was okay, the salad was good, and the fries weren't up to scratch. The place, however, is super nice with the pool.

04/11/2025: Warm welcome. Excellent meal. Good wine. Very reasonable price. We will gladly return. I highly recommend it.

14/10/2025: Very good food at an incredible price. We ordered the Nafarroa, the Basque Burger, a drink, a chocolate mousse, and two coffees. All for €32. Impressive. They also have the friendliest waitress in the world 🫶 Outstanding.

21/05/2025: A little disappointed by the quality. It's been a long time since I've stopped here for lunch on a weekday, but it's not like it used to be. The dish, advertised as a sausage rougail, is an insult to Reunion Island. A good "zorey" dish... and even then. It's a real shame.

09/05/2025: I went this afternoon, May 8, because we were in the area. I saw negative reviews that could be scary but we still walked through the door. And a nice surprise, the dishes were well presented and very appetizing, we enjoyed ourselves. A small constructive criticism: the bread does not match the foie gras dish. Other than that everything was ok thanks to the team.
