24/01/2026: It's hard to talk about atmosphere in a small town like Port-en-Bessin, deserted in the middle of January! There were only four of us at the restaurant, yet the welcome was warm and the food fantastic! Even if the decor is a bit kitschy, the portions are beautiful and generous! Thank you so much!
21/01/2026: Passing through this Monday... a great little restaurant, the only one open on Mondays in Port-en-Bessin serving scallops. The owner is very friendly, I highly recommend it.

13/01/2026: A wonderful experience at this restaurant! The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which immediately puts you at ease. The raclette was simply excellent, generous, and delicious. The decor is beautiful, warm, and tasteful; you really feel comfortable there. A place you'll definitely want to return to. I highly recommend it!
27/09/2025: A real disappointment. This isn't fine dining, but rather low-end frozen food. The products are of very poor quality, and the dishes are inedible. The manager is rude and unwelcoming. And to top it all off, the prices are exorbitant for what's more like dog food than a decent meal. Move on; there are much better options elsewhere in Ceillac.

26/01/2026: Save your money. We came in after shopping for a quick bite. A salmon steak and a plate of pasta with porcini mushrooms. €40 with two draft beers. Frankly, it wasn't good. It's all about maximizing profits and making a quick buck. The salmon was overcooked, the sauce was just powder mixed with water from a packet, absolutely no salt, nothing. The pasta with porcini mushrooms was bland, overcooked, no seasoning, no passion, no love, nothing. I understand that Metro's porcini mushrooms are ready to use, but it costs nothing to prepare them a little with butter and some herbs. I think they were just taken out of their cans, thrown into a gastropub, and drowned in a powdered sauce. It's a rip-off. There are brasseries that are much cheaper and much better. You should need a diploma to open a restaurant. That would prevent places like this from happening.

07/12/2025: We entered this crêperie with the enthusiasm of a hungry hiker… only to be greeted as if we were interrupting a top-secret meeting. No smiles, a glacial atmosphere: they could have easily served the cider on ice. The room is so cramped that you practically eat on your neighbor's lap. No need to be sociable: the layout takes care of that for you. You share conversations, breaths… all that was missing was a simple “hello, here’s your galette, and your neighbor for the day.” As for the food, the savory crêpes have clearly decided that salt will be the main ingredient. The salmon crêpe? The fish was of very poor quality, incredibly salty, to the point that we wondered if the cook had tried to mummify it. The cheese crêpe with bacon? Well… the bacon was doubly salted, so it wasn't really "cheese and bacon," but more like "salt and more salt." A shame, a real shame, because the crêpe batter itself was good. You could tell the skill behind the salty storm. And to top it all off: without a reservation, you literally get in "on a whim." I was genuinely shocked… you don't think you need a resume, a recommendation, and a fashion show to eat a galette. In short, a memorable experience… but not for the reasons I hoped. I won't be going back, or maybe for something sweet, which will be super sweet 🤣

01/02/2026: I'm very disappointed. They advertise a Sunday menu on the chalkboard outside, including lamb shank. We were also given the menu when we arrived at our table, again featuring the lamb shank we had come for, but it wasn't available, even though we were there at the very beginning of service. I asked for it to be replaced with another dish at the same price, but they refused, telling us that it had been replaced with steak frites. I won't be returning to this restaurant, especially since the dish I ordered wasn't very good: a seafood casserole with a watery soup and mediocre mussels...
29/01/2026: Not good. Pigeons wandering on the tables. Bland mussels. Average lasagna. I don't recommend it.

12/11/2025: The setting is beautiful, but we were all very disappointed. The service is not up to the standards of a Michelin-starred restaurant... The food was decent! ... But the wine cellar is excellent.
12/10/2025: An ideal place for a birthday party, with a large room and terrace. The welcome was friendly and the service discreet and efficient. The buffet and punch were very much appreciated. Rare in the Paris region.

31/01/2026: A restaurant we love to visit for lunch, not only for a break from work but especially for the warm welcome, the relaxing atmosphere, their daily specials—always delicious, (very) generous portions, made with seasonal, market-fresh ingredients—all at an excellent price (daily special, dessert, and coffee for €15.90). Located within the hotel, the restaurant is lovely, bathed in natural light from the veranda. A special mention goes to the team: Manon (with her smile and sense of humor), Anaïs (friendly and discreet), and the Head Chef, whose mastery of cooking both meat and fish we serve deserves a special mention, as does the generous portion size. This place has become our go-to spot, and we're not exactly picky eaters (Manon can attest to that) ;))

01/10/2024: Great finding in Toulouse, serving local specialties like the famed cassoulet. The ambiance is classic chic and service attentive. They have a good wine list with focus on the local appellations. The quality of the food is the main attraction here though.
