28/01/2025: Restaurant was good and breakfast was simple. Room was large but very hot and aircon was disabled. Windows opened although significant traffic noise all night.
27/01/2025: Quiet, clean and spacious room, pleasant welcome.
Good dinner and good breakfast.
Swimming pool area (which could be rejuvenated), nice with water at a good temperature.
45-minute duo massage by Carole and Catherine, very good and relaxing.

22/11/2024: We were ignored for the first 20 minutes, then finally the waitress took our drink order, followed soon afterwards by our dinner order. The waitress was hurried and seemed to have little interest in communicating any details about our choices. Our entrees were good: a generous portion of foie gras and the salade aux queues de langoustine was excellent. The main courses were disappointing, however. The magret was cooked far too long, and the ris de veau which is normally the stuff dreams are made of was disappointingly lacking. To the restaurant's credit, when the head waiter learned of our disappointment he offered us a "digestif" on the house, which was a decent gesture, although we declined.

Order placed 1 undrinkable spritz and 1 caipirinha without crushed ice!!!!!
10€ each cocktail is expensive for flavorless drinks. If you don't know cocktails, really abstain, this will avoid getting bad comments 😉

Cadre superbe, excellent accueil et cuisine raffinée.

24/11/2024: We arrived late but the boss welcomed us as if he was waiting for us: he almost whispered “Do you want to eat? » leaving his post and approaching us (we must have looked hungry! Lol). This is a thoughtful welcome.
The meal was delicious: I recommend the chicken breast with forest sauce and gratin dauphinois. The wine offered was perfect and the dessert (vacherin raspberries) to die for! In short, this is an address to note in your notebook, on Google Maps or wherever you deem it useful! Ideally located on the road down to Lyon and with generous parking. No detours to make.

16/09/2024: Recientemente cené en Le Pareloup en París y tuve una buena experiencia. El restaurante exuda un ambiente acogedor. Lo más destacado de mi visita fue el cassoulet con pato confitado, que estaba absolutamente delicioso.
En general, la comida era excelente, y el ambiente cálido y acogedor se sumó al encanto de la noche.

01/12/2024: Wir kennen die Auberge Hungerplatz seit über 2 Jahrzehnten. Mehrfach haben die Betreiber gewechselt. Doch das Paar, das derzeit die Auberge bewirtschaftet, ist eine echte Bereicherung: Der freundliche Empfang, die Zubereitung der Speisen, die angebotenen Weine und die Menupreise sind wie man es sich besser kaum wünschen kann. Ein ganz kleiner Wermutstropfen besteht darin, dass man etwas Zeit mitbringen sollte, da der Chef in der Küche alles allein frisch zubereitet. Aber das ist es unbedingt wert. Die Wanderung zu den Burgen und die Einkehr im Hungerplatz ist ein wunderbares Erlebnis.

31/07/2024: We had lunch this afternoon in this restaurant with our two children. The restaurant is located in a very pleasant little alley in old Clermont. The welcome was very friendly and the room inside was air-conditioned, which was very welcome during the heat. We had starter specialties based on cod fritters then a local ham truffade and Auvergne hamburger. The children had steak and fries and cod, shrimp and meat fritters. Everything was super good and the plates were very generous. The children's steak was very good and you could see that the meat was of good quality. The chef even came to chat with the customers to see if everything was going well. Which is very appreciable. We felt that he had a heart for getting feedback and impressions from consumers. Note that the service was very fast. Very good restaurant I recommend.

24/08/2024: Cuisine excellente! Du plat au dessert c’est un régal. Le tartare de saumon… une vraie merveille conseillée par la patronne et à juste titre. Service sympathique et dynamique. Je recommande vivement. Chèques restos acceptés.

Repas agréable bien que le service soit un peu long. Mais, en vacances, on peut attendre un peu.
