03/09/2025: This was my first visit to this place, and I don't recommend it because I was disappointed by the manager's lack of conscientious behavior: she threw her cigarette butt on the ground. This is unacceptable!
Know that customers choose places that reflect their personality, that align with their values, and this place is not aligned with mine!

03/02/2026: It's the perfect place to go as a couple or family before a movie, or even for a spontaneous outing.
Despite the crowds (it's often full), the service is excellent, and you still have privacy; it's not noisy. It's quite spacious.
Personally, I've never been disappointed, whether as a couple, with children, or with my parents (whom I've invited). I highly recommend it; I've always received a very warm welcome.
The waitresses and waiters are energetic. For me, it's a guaranteed repeat customer.

20/12/2025: The service was slow and unresponsive, and the reservation was pointless. The calf's head was undercooked, and the price was excessive for what was offered. €27 for a meager ribeye steak and crisps on the side is not worth it, despite the overall quality of the dish.

02/01/2026: The owner's welcome was more than unpleasant. Clearly, a smile is only reserved for regulars and friends. Having a tourist restaurant doesn't excuse you from being friendly. Now, let's talk about the crêpe: at €19.50 for the crêpe and an extra €1.50 for honey, I'm still looking for the promised goat cheese sauce. The cider pitcher was dirty. I'm heartbroken for my beloved Brittany.
01/01/2026: Two waitresses as friendly as prison guards, constantly arguing amongst themselves. We waited 20 minutes before they even bothered to take our order, and then they started taking orders from people who arrived after us. Goodbye! We left.
Avoid at all costs.

23/01/2026: This is my second visit to the tea room, just a week apart, and the new person in charge is so kind and professional—it truly makes all the difference.
There's a much wider selection of teas than before, and above all, the service is impeccable and welcoming, finally matching the quality of the products. I hope they stay on because it makes absolutely everything. It's a pleasure to come back to the Pelen tea room again and again!

30/09/2025: It was a wonderful evening. Although we arrived late, we received a friendly welcome and were given a table on the terrace with a magnificent view of the harbor at night. The three-course meal was excellent, and the portions were more than ample. The pleasant surprise came with the bill: we hadn't had such a good-value dinner in a long time. We'll definitely be back.

14/12/2024: Very good address for all those looking for quality cuisine made with fresh produce, very friendly owner of the restaurant who took care of the service herself. The prices are largely in line with the service. An experience to be repeated without hesitation during our next visit to Abbeville 😉
