I made a bet with the waiter about my daughter's dessert, as she's quite picky... he told me she'd love it without telling me what... and he won! What was it? 28/01/2026: If you're looking for taste and quality, look elsewhere. Yesterday I bought a brioche bun and a raspberry flan. One wonders if they even know that eggs and butter exist. Flavorings try unsuccessfully to mask the blandness of the products.

31/01/2026: A nice little restaurant, and one of the few in town open during the off-season. Warm atmosphere and quick service. The food was good but unpretentious: the flank steak was tasty, the fries were frozen and therefore basic, and the pepper sauce was too runny. The desserts were good. For the price, it's perfectly acceptable!

19/01/2026: Running late for my flight at the airport right across the street, and having forgotten to leave a gift for my niece, I went to reception to ask if it would be possible to leave a small bag for a few minutes (a Portugal football jersey for her daughter) so she could pick it up within the hour. The receptionist initially agreed, and I'm grateful to her, but another person (probably a manager) intervened very abruptly and curtly, refusing without explanation and wishing me a good day, as if to say "get lost," with an inappropriate tone and an unpleasant look, as if I were a criminal. As if it were suspicious. And I swear I'm not exaggerating at all; it was shocking. It's a shame because right next door, the Novotel accepted without any problem, with professionalism and courtesy. They were even amused by the situation. The welcome and attitude of the staff make all the difference; don't forget that when you go somewhere. And clearly, this lady was completely out of her depth, absolutely not. Good luck to the receptionists! 🤣🤣🤣

24/12/2025: This restaurant is absolutely exceptional; everything is homemade. The foie gras is a must-try, followed by the sea bass with beurre blanc sauce—absolutely excellent, meltingly creamy, and the fish flavor shines through beautifully. Finally, the dessert menu is a complete surprise; everything is homemade, from the airy floating islands to the wonderfully fruity sorbets and ice creams. I highly recommend this restaurant. Moreover, the service is impeccable, with a competent and friendly staff. A final touch goes to the restaurant owners, who seem like genuinely lovely people. In my opinion, it's the best restaurant in La Baule, both for its wonderful value and for the delicious food you'll eat.
