10/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! I took my mother to lunch at this restaurant, which was new to me. I based my decision on reviews, photos, and online posts. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was excellent, beautifully presented, and generous, and the atmosphere was pleasant. As for the service, it was impeccable: the two waitresses were very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and will gladly return.

10/03/2026: The welcome, cleanliness, and quiet atmosphere were excellent, and the quality/price ratio was very good. Personally, I found the shrimp and chicken to be slightly undercooked. This is just my personal preference.

11/07/2026: It had been a long time since I'd been back to this Bordeaux institution. I always returned with great pleasure and fond memories, but this visit was a real disappointment. Since the change of ownership, the establishment has clearly lost its soul. Admittedly, the terrace has been renovated, and the result is rather pleasant, but that's not enough. The most shocking thing is the attitude of the man I believe to be the owner. His behavior is particularly unpleasant, sometimes even vulgar, both towards his staff and his own. The warm welcome, which was once the hallmark of this establishment, seems to have completely vanished. Another surprising point: no sooner had we sat down than no fewer than four servers came to ask us if we had ordered or to take our order. This total lack of coordination gives an impression of disorganization and makes customers uncomfortable. We much prefer to wait an extra minute than to be approached four times in a row. Ultimately, the experience is nothing like what I had a few years ago. It's truly regrettable to see such an iconic establishment evolve in this direction. For me, it will be a first… and a last. I won't be going back.

17/06/2026: A wonderful experience at this restaurant in the 15th arrondissement. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and we had a very pleasant time. We particularly enjoyed the snails, served with great care in their traditional pan. The rest of the meal was just as delicious. It's an excellent place to share a good meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

06/07/2026: We had an exceptional time at La Mère Bouvier restaurant. The dishes were simply delicious. Special mention goes to the chicken in cream sauce: a pure marvel that, in my opinion, far surpasses the level of Blanc in Vonnas! As for the melon and mango soup with garden herbs, it was more than divine, incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced. A huge thank you to the Chef and his entire team for their talent and warm welcome. We will definitely be back!

28/05/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant. Eight of us colleagues had come to eat lunch on the terrace during our work break, in the sweltering heat (over 30 degrees Celsius). The waitress told us to take a seat, so we moved a few small round tables so we could sit together. A few minutes later, she came back to remove the tables, explaining that only two small tables were allowed for eight people… completely absurd and very unwelcoming, especially since the terrace remained empty throughout our meal, as did a large part of the restaurant. So we ended up sitting inside to have enough space. As for the food, it wasn't any better, unfortunately: three mistakes in the order. That can happen, but the dishes should at least be decent. The chicken skewers were inedible, and the promised "yakitori sauce" was simply soy sauce poured into a container. I didn't even eat my dish. Luckily, when it came time to pay, I was only charged for my drink. However, I later learned that part of my meal had been added to my colleague's bill, with the fries being charged as an "extra," even though they were simply a substitute for the rice that was supposed to accompany the dish. Between the unpleasant welcome, the disastrous organization, the very poor quality of the food, and the highly questionable hygiene, we were all very disappointed. One thing is for sure: we won't be going back.

05/07/2026: The main advantage of Le Pur Sang is undoubtedly its value for money: €23 at lunchtime for a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert, featuring traditional, homemade, simple, and delicious French cuisine accompanied by a good traditional baguette. The restaurant has recently also opened on Friday and Saturday evenings, offering a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for €29. For a touch of nostalgia, the building and atmosphere evoke restaurants from the 1960s to 1980s. The large, shaded terrace under the trees is particularly pleasant when the weather is fine. Here are some of the dishes that are offered on a rotating basis: Starters: Terrine, eggs mayonnaise, tomato and mozzarella salad, herring with potatoes in oil. Main Courses: Hang steak with shallots, andouillette sausage, lasagna, calf's head with gribiche sauce, roast chicken. Sauerkraut, fish with beurre blanc sauce Desserts: Chocolate fondant, floating island, fruit tarts, ice cream, cheeses. Everything is simple, generous, and delicious. Please note: The restaurant is sometimes a victim of its own success, serving over 100 covers on some days, which can lead to a wait during peak hours.

04/07/2026: Remembered this place from years ago when I used to live in Maisons Laffitte. Hours online do not reflect their opening hours. This place wishes to serve locals and not visitors unfortunately. Laughed and mocked us for coming at open hours. I suggest they advertise more clearly.

27/03/2026: I was out for a walk when I saw what looked like a deer coming out of a truck. I don't know about you, but seeing a dead animal like that traumatized me a bit; it was disgusting. I completely lost my appetite.
