24/09/2024: Very very disappointed with this restaurant which had a good reputation. I don’t really question the quality of the dishes (and even so…) but it’s the quantity on the plates! We come out hungry after an aperitif, a starter and a main course! The service is just passable, 45 minutes of waiting between a starter and a main course. And for the price paid, the smile would not have cost me more! Go on your way! I will give you better addresses on rue Bonaparte!

21/09/2024: Good evening, We went there as two couples in the evening. The men were drooling over the 600 g of Châteaubriant à la carte and hoping to have a feast but had a nervous laugh when they saw the meat arrived (you should probably have your kitchen scales checked^^); we were not far from 600 g... and dare I mention the 6 small rigatoni (placed very delicately by the waiter that said) which fought a duel? The sole for 2 for the women was hardly more plentiful… Overall, however, it was very good but we were particularly disappointed by the small portions and the absolutely ridiculous prorated price: €300 for 4 with 4 aperitifs, 2 starters, 4 main courses and 2 desserts… without being full at the end :- / Friendly atmosphere and good service. It was previously one of our favorite addresses in Nice but we really became disillusioned, it’s a shame!

11/09/2024: Nous avons passé un excellent moment au Relais des Maures. Très bonne cuisine, avec des produits locaux et dans un très joli cadre. Service rapide et courtois pour un tarif tout à fait honnête. Nous recommandons cette adresse et y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

04/12/2024: Ma première fois c'était rien spécial et trop chère. J'ai tenté venir 2 ème fois avec 4 personnes, j'ai effectué la réservation une semaine à l'avance mais 2 jours avant le restaurant la annulé car ils ont eu la réservation pour 30 personnes donc ils s'en foutent de nous.....

23/11/2024: Accueil agréable, repas proposé au top. 5 mois d’ouvertures, je vous souhaite longue vie et vue ce que nous avons eu ce midi je n’en ai aucun doute.

06/11/2024: We arrived at 19:09 on November 6th. Closed, although Google maps says otherwise. There are no signs of life inside, the lights are off. Thanks for the deception 🥰😇🥰😇

10/08/2024: Too bad the place is superb, the meal was very good, consistent with all the photos posted upstream in the other reviews. However, we didn't find the team very friendly at all, especially one, we were there to have a good time, we rather had the impression of being disruptive at the slightest request or question. Damage.

10/08/2024: A Friday evening in a very friendly setting, the evening started well, we were seated on the terrace, while the mosquitoes had a field day passing from table to table while lemongrass candles rested peacefully in front of us on the sideboard. Installing them would have been too tiring for the staff, as they would have had to be put away afterwards. The butler does not take his responsibilities and lets his waitress be derogatory to the customers, (throwing the seat cushions on the pretext that we dared to have 2 coffees) He himself does not know who ordered what!! When the dishes arrive at the table. Delicious meal for 5 people, but deplorable and unprofessional service until 11:00 p.m. at the end of the sweets, where we were informed before we asked for a second coffee and the digestive menu, "_ok for the digestive menu , but we close in 15 minutes in a very unpleasant tone” Not to be discouraged and at the price of this evening, starters, main courses, cheeses and desserts a la carte €€€, we were not going to end up without a digestive... In case you didn't understand, We turn off the music, then the lights around you, to let you know that it's time to leave because the 15 minutes are up...it's 11:15 p.m.... Luckily for the restaurant owner, they gave us time to settle our table at 11:34 p.m. And there, the butler whom we hadn't seen for a while, asks us a subsidiary question which has no value or meaning for him: “Did everything go well? » This is the only humorous moment of the staff evening. How can we go into explanations when the staff puts customers who are still consuming at the end of their meal outside? The Boss does not need to make figures, he is complete on previous notoriety!! The icing on the cake, we go out outside the restaurant without any exterior roadside lighting, we find ourselves in complete darkness. I wanted to thank you for the customer's recognition, because now among friends we will have good memories of the establishment and lots of things to tell each other. All this is a shame for the good quality of the cuisine. If you want to be treated badly, this is it, they excel at it. Well done and good luck, Without us from now on...

17/12/2024: Notre séjour au Château de PRAY du 12 au 14 décembre 2024 L' hôtel Nous avons été très bien reçu et la chambre supérieure ( Choiseul ) que nous avions souhaité avec douche était spacieuse et confortable avec l'ambiance d'une maison de famille. Les petits déjeuners étaient très soignés, le buffet présentant ses produits de qualité , variés et frais. La maison, a conservé le charme d'une demeure aristocratique dans un environnement reposant. Le restaurant Nous avons diner 2 soirs dans l'orangerie du château dans le cadre d'une offre en demi pension avec menu imposé par le chef. Le premier soir , après quelques mises en bouche ,toutes servies froides, l'entrée proposée était une tartelette à l'oignon confit, dont le fond de tarte était si dur que notre couteau avait du mal à le couper et l'oignon étant trop caramélisé il avait pris un goût de vinaigre. le plat principal , du cabillaud, dit rôti , sans trace de rôtissage, mais présentant une texture légèrement caoutchouteuse car trop cuit accompagné d'une sauce au moult de raisin au goût sure et peu approprié avec du poisson. L'assiette de fromage comportait deux fromages de chèvres trop vieux présentant un goût ammoniaqué fort désagréable. Le dessert consistait en une poire pochée de taille XS dure et sans saveur accompagnée d'une brioche façon pain perdu à la texture fort collante et pâteuse très désagréable au palais. aspect visuel et olfactif de ces plats ne mettait en éveil ni la vue, ni l'odorat. Après avoir exprimé nos remarques au maître d'hôtel, nous espérions que notre second diner serait plus enthousiasment, malheureusement pour nos papilles il n'en a rien été. Les mises en bouche étaient toujours servies froides, en plein hiver! Le thon mariné proposé en entrée révélait une très forte odeur de port de pêche, notre palais a du abandonné ce supplice au bout de quelques bouchée et présenté sur une tranche de pain très dure résistant à la lame du couteau. Aucun plat de substitution ne nous a été proposé. Du lièvre suivait insuffisamment cuit , trop ferme en bouche, accompagné d'une sauce avec peu de saveur et de Parfum, notre odorat s'en est trouvé frustré. la viande s'accompagnait d'un leur de risotto de céleri rave sans saveur. Un yaourt minuscule suivait dont la saveur était mise à mal par la trop forte intensité de le tagetes , fort goût mentholé. Pour terminer , suivait un dessert au chocolat accompagné d'un sorbet au céleri (encore) qui ne nous laissera pas un souvenir impérissable. Ces deux diners étaient bien éloignées de la joie qu'on éprouve en savourant des mets qui flattent la vue , le goût et l'odorat.( parfait si l'on souffre d'agueusie) Nous ne renouvellerons pas cette expérience malheureuse Un gourmet ayant connu depuis son adolescence. de nombreux grands chefs PHILIPPE COLLE ET MAURICE ROYENS

16/12/2024: 20 personnes ont été réunies à l'occasion d'un anniversaires. Nous avons dîné et occupé 10 chambres. L'accueil attentionnés qui nous a été réservé et la disponibilité des équipes, tout au long de ce week-end familial, ont rendu ce séjour enchanteur. Les invités ont été charmés par ce lieu cosy et se sont sentis comme chez eux. Je souhaite donner une mention spéciale au Chef Arnaud Philippon dont le menu (5 plats) incroyablement raffiné à fait l'unanimité des convives. Il a su apporter à chaque plat la petite touche qui a sublimé le tout. Un sans-faute. Nous y retournerons assurément.

09/09/2024: A great place to eat, good value and excellent food. Good job we booked and had arrived just before 12.30 as the restaurant was full and buzzing by 12.35. Wide range of customers from working lunch to celebrations. The buffet starter table was very popular and we enjoyed our three course lunch with a glass of wine. Well staffed with friendly and efficient servers. Good value.

16/09/2024: Hotel without frills, but which does the job. The rooms are simple, but clean and the environment is quiet and very well located in the town of Huelgoat. The traditional restaurant is very good, and the staff are very friendly and available for their customers, never disappointed. Undeniable value for money.

15/09/2024: Another good evening spent at Liberty. This time I tasted the xup-xup, a delight for those who love fish, cuttlefish and xipirones.... My husband had the cuttlefish/grilled xipirones duo.

10/09/2024: Great service from Liam, very friendly! Not much atmosphere out of season, but it makes for a calm and chill bar, which is great too! :) On the other hand, the older waiter who smokes inside and who tells us that smoking on the terrace "is not good citizenship" for the other customers who eat outside, on the open terrace, is a big joke!
