15/12/2023: Delicious meal, the avocado and shrimp tartare was fragrant and tender, the flank steak magnificent with its little onions and the perfect fries, all this for a very reasonable price, with dynamic and friendly waiters, An atmosphere that is both old-fashioned as a brasserie bar and lively, frankly an address that combines all the elements that a customer is looking for to eat lunch at a restaurant. I will definitely come back!

15/12/2023: A good brasserie as we like them with a tasty menu and quality products! You can go there with your eyes closed! In addition, the atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff is smiling and professional! We ate well and had a great time, thank you! Ps: the prices are also very affordable!

06/02/2026: Truly disappointed, terrible value for money. We paid a lot for half-board (around €110 per person) for a cold welcome upon arrival, an owner who glared at us without a smile, and ultra-strict rules that made us feel like intruders. The room was basic, the bed creaked, the shared showers were tiny with limited hot water and a SUPERB SHOWER (see photo). The set evening menu was bland, the portions were average, nothing special despite the promises of "local produce." Breakfast was mass-produced, with zero conviviality. We felt uncomfortable throughout our stay, as if we were intruding. No Wi-Fi, no cell service, lights turned off at 10 pm sharp… Okay for a mountain refuge, but not at this price for this level of service and food. The setting is beautiful, the snow is fantastic, but frankly, for what we got, it was a rip-off. We will never return, and we do not recommend it unless you just want to sleep in the snow without comfort or human warmth.

06/02/2026: Wednesday, February 4, 2026 "Private" Inn "Great" to find the door closed when we arrived from Corrençon at noon via the Royale road to eat at the inn before continuing our skating outing 😡😡😡 Especially since you were the only ones on the route! Needless to say, part of the enjoyment of the outing was spoiled. We ate our few race snacks on the bench at the Herbouilly gate. When we passed by again, there were only a few snowshoers sitting at tables and many empty tables. ☹️ That's not very nice for a passing skier 👎. Next time it will be a picnic at the Belvédère. It's a shame because the previous time the welcome was good. Don't forget that your name is "Inn - Refuge"

22/09/2025: The welcome and the terrace are pleasant, but I was very disappointed by the food. I ordered a sole dish with vegetables and fries, and unfortunately the sole was overcooked and lacking in freshness, while the fries were too greasy. For a dish costing over €25, I expected better quality. Too bad, I will not return to this restaurant.

13/01/2026: Very welcoming. The only hotel in the area, the price-quality ratio isn't justified. The room was clean, certainly, and had everything you need, but it was a bit dated.

17/11/2025: Easy access, parking available, attentive staff, clean and pleasant room. Generous breakfast with plenty of choice. Accepts dogs of all sizes. We will gladly return.

29/09/2024: I went to eat on Saturday29 On the menu faux filet on the plate a small piece of meat which had nothing to do with a false filet small sole without taste frozen fries without taste at 13 euros all I have not gone beyond this experience In addition, credit card did not work No one told me anything when I arrived It's just to get black I guess at the neighbor's I had a coffee and it worked The unpleasant boss came with a piece of plastic to show me that it was indeed the sirloin and offered nothing else. 07/11/2025: I'm giving one star because zero isn't an option. What a disappointment! It was already suspicious that only one table was occupied on a Sunday. The meal was a disaster, and the bill came to over €100 without wine or digestifs, I should add. The duck breast was unlike anything I've ever seen: four slices cut with some kind of julienned vegetables in hollandaise sauce, even though I specifically asked for no sauce, and served with cold, dry rice. The roasted peach was a catastrophe—pure sugar, even canned peaches have more flavor. My husband's potato gratin was cold and dry. No, we were completely ripped off. It was my birthday meal; I could have cried. I didn't want to upset my husband any more, as he could see I hadn't eaten a thing. Once is enough, but never again, that's for sure.

30/12/2025: Usually big fans of Pino's pizza, we were a little disappointed! Maybe it's just the "between-the-holidays" effect, we understand! The crust is more elastic and thinner than usual, saltier, and the "wood-fired" flavor isn't as strong. But we'll try it again to see! 👍

16/12/2025: We've been heartbroken since finding the doors closed on Sunday. We had found the perfect place to recharge and enjoy a meal at a very affordable price, with varied menus that changed daily. We're left with wonderful memories: my father's birthday on the last Sunday before closing for his 88th birthday. Thank you for that delightful time; you were fantastic, as always! 👍 We also cherish the memory of delicious meals on the terrace, surrounded by trees and birds, on sunny days 😎 relaxing in the deck chairs, kindly provided for us, under the ancient trees; the fleeting glimpses of playful squirrels; the ducks paddling in the water; the schools of fish dancing underwater; the walks along the golf course, on the GR hiking trail to the stud farm... How we will miss all of that. We are also very sad that we couldn't say goodbye. We wish you all the best and, despite everything, happy holidays. Two years isn't enough. We deeply regret not having met you sooner. We hope to see you again soon. Thank you for all these wonderful and unforgettable moments... We look forward to more 😉

03/10/2025: We stayed here for two nights and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Firstly the host was extremely attentive and friendly, she went out of her way to help us communicate with the hospital nearby for an emergency visit and even drove us there! Secondly, we had dinner two nights in a row, which was impeccable - I couldn’t recommend it enough. The rooms we stayed in were immaculate. The hotel overall has an extremely homely and welcoming feel, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in + a very sweet dog (: The hotel has a beautiful garden and safe storage for bikes. Thank you for such a pleasant stay. 1000% recommend.

29/09/2025: We were walking on the chemin with our dog and found this perfect hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. The hotel restaurant was a pleasant surprise, top notch dining and wonderful service.

26/08/2025: A very drunk and aggressive owner. He has a grudge against the entire world. To be avoided at all costs... Fortunately, the establishment is closing permanently.

30/09/2025: Very warm and welcoming. The dishes are simple (which is normal given the very reasonable menu prices). The only drawback is that they lack a lot of seasoning, which is a shame. The plus: cider and lemonade are available.

28/11/2025: We went there just for drinks. The staff was very friendly and the athmosphere was very cozy and Frenchy. Prices were very reasonable. I would totally recommend this for anyone yearning for a drink or a few.
