23/08/2025: A wonderful surprise! We celebrated our two daughters' baptisms in June, and everything went perfectly. Excellent value for money, a delicious meal, and a fantastic team! We highly recommend it.

14/05/2026: I'm only giving one star because the gentleman who served us was nice, but honestly, the food... I don't mean to be unpleasant, but it wasn't good, nothing more to say. I'm not going to publicly shame anyone, but there's definitely room for improvement. We were extremely disappointed, truly disgusted... What reassures me is that the ladies at the next table were saying the same thing about their fondue... so it wasn't just us...

16/07/2026: Very nice setting next to the square and excellent staff/service. We received a very warm welcome and the chef was able to adapt the dish for my daughter who has a food intolerance. The meal was delicious. A very good experience!

23/07/2026: Overall rating: 3/5 for dinner on July 18, 2026 The owner was very friendly and possessed genuine human qualities (he let us taste the wine before choosing the bottle, an excellent choice for this local vintage from the Hautes-Alpes). The rest of the dish and the dessert were also very good. The only drawback, and a significant one at that, was the sirloin steak. Although cooked rare as requested, it was not at all tender, which is a real shame for such a cut of beef. It was my 50th birthday, and I greatly appreciated the sparkling candle thoughtfully placed on my dessert. However, I mentioned the problem with the meat to the waiter and the owner, but no compensation was offered. This is regrettable, because otherwise, I would gladly have given it 5/5. I had even planned to treat myself to a nice digestif for the occasion, but the disappointment put me off. I left feeling a little disappointed. The owner replied on July 21st (see below). Here is my new message on July 23rd: Hello, Thank you for your thoughtful reply. We are still in the area for a few more days. Unfortunately, we won't be able to come back for dinner: besides the cost, the €120 bill is a significant sum for us, and we live in Brittany, 1000 km away. It's a shame that the appropriate response you mentioned could only take the form of another invitation to dine with you. However, if the opportunity arises to simply stop by and say hello and share a quick drink, we would be delighted. It would be a nice way to end this experience on a more positive note. 11/03/2026: It's a lovely shop with helpful staff. You can choose it to try different teas, take a break, and warm up. Seating is limited, but we were very pleased with both the teas we tried and the atmosphere; I recommend it.

13/10/2025: Super sweet shop with lovely owner and staff. Favorite was Le Toit du Monde (?). It was very reasonably priced and you get plenty of we ordered a few and shared to try. Recommend on a chilly day for sure!

14/09/2026: We wanted to have dinner with friends. The restaurant looked nice, they were quite full. We found a free table and waited for service. The waitress came after a while and when she found out that we didn't speak French, she shouted "italiano" (yes, we tried to communicate in Italian and not provoke with English) and left. After another (longer) moment, her colleague came and launched a waterfall of French at us. We tried Italian again. When she found out that we didn't understand, she turned around and let us sit. They served other tables and ignored us. After 15 minutes, we gave up and left. If we disrupted a private event, we just had to use the "reservations only" option and we could usually be understood. This seems like a continuation of the stereotype of overlooking tourists who dare not speak French. Too bad. We won't give this establishment a second chance. I wish other guests more luck.

13/09/2026: I don't understand the 5-star reviews given to this establishment. The service is poor and slow. The waitress was completely clueless. There's a chalkboard for choosing, no menu. And it's quite expensive too. 12 euros for a 50cl carafe of rosé. Yeah, whatever. Not very clean either.

26/09/2026: Absolutely delicious. The owner is incredibly kind and the gyros was excellent. I can attest to that because I'm Greek. Don't bother queuing at the little Greek place next door, come here.

12/09/2026: Service was quick, food was cheap, the staff was polite and knew how to speak English (very rare in this city). 100% recommend for a fast meal
