12/07/2026: We chose this restaurant by chance to celebrate my sister's birthday, and what a wonderful surprise! A hearty and delicious meal: a flavorful cassoulet and a generous, gourmet salad. The owner was very attentive, and the waitresses and waiters took excellent care of us throughout the evening. In short, a memorable evening that my sister won't soon forget.

29/06/2026: I had a very unpleasant experience at Restaurant l’Agastache. As a Chinese customer, I felt treated differently and unfairly by the female server. I asked for tap water, but it wasn't provided. During the meal, I felt ignored when the dishes were served and also when I wanted to pay the bill. What made the experience even worse was that the server rolled her eyes, which I found extremely rude and disrespectful. Overall, the service was very disappointing and made me feel unwelcome. I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience. (Chinese review) My dining experience at Restaurant l’Agastache was extremely poor. 30/04/2026: I travel very often for leisure and business; today it was business. I rarely review establishments, but I can't help but highlight the excellence of this hotel! The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had; everything is delicious, fresh, and much of it is homemade—a real treat! The room was very spacious, clean, and quiet. Dinner was also delicious, with a simple yet incredibly effective menu. And finally, the staff is truly friendly and attentive. I recommend it 200%, a traveler's word! 😎

18/07/2026: A peaceful and pleasant break in a typical village. The establishment welcomes everyone (contrary to what some older reviews say)! A father and son team are there to ensure you have a wonderful time: we want to come back again and again!

16/06/2026: On Friday, June 12th, about forty of us, invited by our association, dined there. The salad was tasteless, without a hint of dressing; the cod and spelt were barely lukewarm; the Ventoux pork was equally bland; the apple pastry was tiny; the wait was interminable (and the owner sat calmly among us); and to top it all off, if you choose to have tea, it costs extra... despite having around forty set menus at 40 Euros! In short, none of us will be returning to or recommending this restaurant.

24/05/2026: Great restaurant with a lovely shaded terrace offering panoramic views in the charming village of Crillon-le-Brave at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Welcoming staff and good food at reasonable prices.

14/05/2026: Having gotten lost on my motorcycle because my phone got wet, I went to the hotel reception to ask for help, and the receptionist (around 12:30 am on the night of May 13th to 14th) was very helpful, showed me the route to take on his phone, and got me home safely... without him, I could have been searching for a long time, and my family would have been worried sick. Thank you again!

01/11/2025: Extraordinary! It's pure madness to stumble upon such a restaurant in Castelnaudary. Don't hesitate: you'll be blown away! The chef? A real character—like Obelix, he fell into the kitchen as a child. The welcome and service are absolutely wonderful, sincere and warm. And the cassoulet… a symphony of flavors! A huge thank you to this magnificent conductor, a true master of cassoulet. I can't wait to go back and make my taste buds sing again!

28/10/2025: We had booked a lunch table and received confirmation from the manager. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed. We waited for over 15 minutes beyond our reservation time, but there was no sign that it would open. I do not recommend it.

21/06/2026: This brasserie has air conditioning, which is perfect for this weather and makes the ambiance very pleasant. The service was also good. Unfortunately, the food is not at the same level. I ordered a club sandwich, and the toast and the chicken were just served cold, which was disappointing.

17/06/2026: A waiter was picking up broken glass when a piece flew across my foot. I told him it hurt, and instead of apologizing, he told me I should have watched where I was going. I found this reaction very inappropriate and unprofessional.

01/07/2026: We shared a meal with colleagues; there were eight of us, and we were very well seated and welcomed. Everyone could easily chat. The meal itself was excellent, no complaints whatsoever.

24/06/2026: The location is fantastic; we hadn't expected this when we drove there. We ate outside on the terrace. With a view of the river. The existing trees provided sufficient shade. Additionally, parasols had been placed to protect against the strong sun. The service was more than friendly and very professional. The food, 3 courses and coffee to finish, was more than excellent. Many a restaurant in the Netherlands cannot match this. The final surprise of the bill. Here, too, no good restaurant in the Netherlands can come close. So the aftertaste was made even better by it.

03/05/2026: A wonderful stay at this hotel, with attentive and friendly staff! The hotel is beautiful and intimate, and the restaurant was delicious and plentiful. We also tried the spa, a true haven of peace.

03/05/2026: Received by the owner this Thursday after a sleepless night with two children. At 1 p.m., there was no one at reception or in the restaurant. I called out, "Is anyone there?" A brunette woman arrived at the desk. I smiled and told her there was no one at the hotel. "Not at this hour," she replied. "Besides, your room isn't ready. Come back at 2:30 p.m. We told you check-in is at 3 p.m." "I'll do you a favor by letting you in at 2:30 p.m." The welcome was worthy of a government-run hotel! As for the rest: no towels at the pool. I went to the desk and ran into the same woman again. She told me, "I'll lend you towels, but you have to bring them back here. Don't leave them at the pool. It's not even peak season yet..." In short, a 4-star hotel, but the owner should be working at Fresnes prison.

10/06/2026: We were absolutely delighted with our dinner; it was our first time, but certainly not our last. The homemade foie gras and mango chutney were pure bliss. The scallop and prawn risotto was excellent. We will definitely be back!

08/06/2026: We celebrated our daughter's First Communion yesterday. We had the private terrace in the courtyard to ourselves. Everything was perfect, from the cocktail hour to the meal. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. There were 23 of us, and all our guests were delighted. Thank you for everything.
