Die Eigentümer bewirten mit viel Einsatz und Liebe ihre Gäste.
Sehr hochwertige Speisen. Qualität und Zubereitung auf Top Niveau.
Als Menü oder a la carte. Alles frisch zubereitet. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Da muss man hin!
Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für einen schönen Abend.
25/08/2024: Très bon accueil, la cuisine est gourmande et créative. C’était ma deuxième visite et j’y retournerai. Le menu à 35€ est un bon rapport qualité prix.

C est dommage. Car sinon la cuisine est avec des produits frais.
Et le cadre intérieur du restaurant est très joli

So rare... the cuisine is just top notch with fresh and local products, we highly recommend, congratulations to the new owner and his teams!!! And that’s just your first 6 months! Well done
05/01/2025: So what can I say...very disappointing there was a cook in this restaurant...to start with the whelks filled with sand! There were 4 of us, sauerkraut with still frozen crayfish! Warm fish and a drizzle of butter on top... bouillabaisse without fish! 2 pieces of hyper-salted cod and a frozen crayfish too! For the other 2 extremely disappointing dishes and canned vegetables for the sole...sad ok we are at the end of the season but that's not normal...the bill was as salty as the cod!

We were the only customers in the restaurant. So I can’t rate the atmosphere.
Service was good and the food even better.
Nice wine too.

Excellent meat.
On the other hand, thank you for letting the customer choose their dish quietly.

16/12/2024: Catastrophic experience.
As soon as I arrived, the receptionist informed me that the parking lot was full, even though I had called the evening before to have them confirm that there was indeed space on the day of my arrival.
When I checked in, we were tired since it was 10 p.m.
Everything went well, with Lucas who was very helpful.
However, when I arrived in the room, the air conditioning was set to cold, what a great idea in the middle of December.
I tell myself that it doesn't matter, and that I'm going to turn on the heating. Guess what? It doesn't work.
So I find myself going down to reception, waiting 10 minutes, so that in the end someone gives me an auxiliary heater by hand. So I end up going back to the room, turning on the heating, and of course, to no one's surprise, it doesn't work either.
So, here I am, back at reception again, putting the heater on the desk, explaining very calmly that my patience has its limits. To which the night receptionist replied: “there are no others”. Without obviously offering me any alternatives, and adding the famous and beautiful phrase that we all hear in hotels when we ask for a new room "the hotel is full".
You will notice that at no point did I mention the word "excuse me", or "sorry".
Fortunately, Lucas, still present, takes the lead, and assigns me a new room.
So I find myself at 11 p.m. moving out with all my belongings, only to find myself in a room with a much smaller bed. I would have liked to have been warned.
So I decide to stay in my initial room, and endure the temperature. I take the time to notify reception by telephone out of respect.
Once this adventure is over, I tell myself that nothing more can happen. Unfortunately, it was too ambitious.
What a great discovery I made when unrolling the bath mat, and discovered a pile of hairs (photo taken if necessary of course) right in the middle.
Not to mention the many hairs found in the bed.
I'm fine with you outsourcing your room service, but do it right.
I am very disappointed with this hotel, and I am of course awaiting feedback from you to discuss these incidents.

21/01/2025: J'ai voulu déjeuner chez Land and Monkeys rue de la Roquette Paris 11e en ce lundi de janvier mais j'ai dû écourter : il faisait trop froid dans la boulangerie !! Même avec un manteau !
Un problème de porte d'entrée qui, m'a-t-on expliqué, doit rester ouverte toute la journée sinon elle se verrouille automatiquement... Une expérience client dégradée, des employés qui doivent porter 4 couches de vêtements, un non-sens économique comme écologique avec toute la chaleur qui part à l'extérieur : c'est dommage pour "une boulangerie d'hôtes" qui veut traiter ses client "comme des convives" et avoir un "impact positif pour la planète".
J'espère que Land and Monkeys trouvera vite une solution !
18/01/2025: Nous avons goûté le flan à la vanille dont on ne ressentait pas du tout le goût mais plutôt celui de la noix de coco alors qu'il n'était pas indiqué qu'il y en avait.
Le carrot cake n'avait pas du tout le goût de carotte et n'avait rien à voir avec celui que l'on mange aux USA ou même cvhez M&S.

15/09/2024: The food was really great! The furniture had the PERFECT atmosphere! And the servers had great humour and joked around ton! A good ★★★★☆ experience!
15/09/2024: What a good place to eat! 4.5/5 indeed! My partner and I stumbled upon Les Zazous when we were really wanting to try some escargot. It was amazing and so was the steak frites and desserts. The waiters were nice and kindly accommodating to me practicing my French with them.
Why I would not give this place a 5/5? They did, however, sneak some extra things to my table even though I believe I was clear in what my partner and I wanted. I had asked for a glass of wine for my partner only, and they gave my partner and I a bottle. They also gave my partner and I another plate of escargot without us asking for it. Our bill ended up being higher than expected. But, it was our last night in Paris and the food was good, so it was not the worst thing! Just be mindful of that if you do eat at Les Zazous. Nevertheless, I’d eat there again.
If you sit in the patio, you get a really good view of the Eiffel Tower. The best time to eat there is near the time the sun is fully set because you’ll get to see its lights!

28/08/2024: To long waiting time for everything. At first we needed to wait between doors because the waiters were in huge chaos, after getting a table we have waiting 15 minutes foroder. Afterwards se waitend about 20 minutes for main dishes and afterwards we needed to wait AGAIN 30 mi utes for desserts ( we needed to ask for it twice)…

My husband, my 2 children (10 and 11 years old) and I have the habit during our holidays of treating ourselves to the best restaurants, the day before we were at Pamoja, a delight! So we went to the restaurant a monkey in winter there were tables available I specify and not a lot of people. The waiter of a certain age asks his boss to seat us or not and he comes back to us, takes us to the corner of the street of his restaurant, telling us, I quote, “to go to another restaurant there instead!… .our dishes are too tasty for you! you won't like it! “I should point out that my husband is West Indian so we are used to spices and tasty dishes! So I ask myself several questions: were we too “tan” for them? Are the children bothering? (Yet they are big and I didn't know that with children we had to eat at Flunch) are we people not good enough? maybe you don't have a fine enough palate for this restaurant? (not the impression that we were at the Ritz either) Apparently in terms of reception given the comments this is a habit of the house. So a deplorable welcome we were unable to judge the food. Besides that, the people arriving and who knew the restaurateurs had no problem for them. It's a shame to judge people on some criterion to know whether people have the right to dine there or not!
