12/02/2026: I've been going to this place regularly for about a year now. I'm sorry, but I've had to leave a review. I have nothing to say about the products they sell, but the staff! Honestly! It's just not good at all! They're very unfriendly! You get the feeling you're bothering them as soon as you ask for something! You can't always sit where you want because in the middle of the day, they're cleaning the windows. They never give you towels. You have the floor sweeper's backside right next to your nose because they don't have the decency to avoid doing that kind of task when there are customers. They lack discretion in how they organize their work. The atmosphere is really unpleasant. No smiles, or very few. I only go there when I absolutely have no other choice. I imagine these people are underpaid, but still! A little professionalism, please! 😶 The bare minimum.

25/01/2026: Good evening, at lunchtime I bought what I thought was a delicious Tropezienne tart to share with friends at whose house I was invited for lunch, but what an affront I felt when the hostess cut the slices…it looked like a stale cake and tasted exactly the same: dry and tasteless! €28, no less!!!!

11/12/2025: The service and atmosphere were rather cold; I had the distinct impression I was bothering them. I ordered an individual plain brioche. My opinion: the texture is very pleasant, slightly crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. Everything you'd expect from a brioche. However, it was too salty, and this overpowered the slightly buttery flavor of the brioche, which I unfortunately didn't taste. It's also not at all greasy, which is very nice. If the salt were less pronounced, it would be one of the best brioches I've ever eaten; unfortunately, the salt makes it rather cloying. :(

10/12/2025: Following some promising experiences a few months ago, an unexpected disappointment has now set in. It's clear that while the texture of the brioches hasn't changed, the taste is no longer what it used to be. A little too salty for my taste, and perhaps less indulgent than before, these brioches, as they stand, now face stiff competition. And as has been mentioned many times, the service remains cold, even discourteous. Some adjustments are therefore necessary if this once-renowned establishment is to experience its former glory again.

12/02/2026: ⚠️⚠️⚠️As a loyal customer of this casino for years, I am increasingly dissatisfied, unhappy, and shocked by the way players are treated. Some employees, like Morgane, who is nonchalant, haughty, never smiles, and even dared to give me dirty looks despite being incompetent at her job, or the waiter, can walk by ten times without offering you a drink. Jany, the manager, prefers to chat with her colleagues rather than check on customers. As for Baptiste, his behavior and remarks were disrespectful, unacceptable, and crossed all boundaries. They shouldn't forget that it's the customers who pay their wages; goodbye to the generous tips of yesteryear. This unhealthy, shameful, and growing atmosphere should alert the manager, Mr. William Carré, as soon as possible. Deeply disappointed with what this casino is becoming, I do not recommend it to anyone.

30/09/2025: I really enjoyed my stop at Au Café Français in Viviers. The terrace is charming, right at the entrance of town, with a lovely view of the cliff — the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of rosé and local dishes. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Service was handled by just two people, and the terrace was completely full, so the wait times for food and the check were a little longer. That said, it was worth the experience — you can feel the authentic, unhurried pace of French village dining. 19/01/2026: It's frustrating to have to be so blunt, but my feeling is that the cuisine relies heavily on standardized products, more industrial than homemade—which seems inappropriate for a bistro of this caliber and at these prices. Despite the staff's best efforts, nothing seems to be truly prepared on-site or freshly made. The overall impression is of an assembly of readily available ingredients, well-executed or presented on the plate, certainly, but lacking the soul and sincerity one expects from a true bistro, one that showcases local producers. The owner isn't playing fair. I share this feeling without animosity; I mentioned it while I was there. At this price point, this situation is disrespectful to everyone. It's absurd, and then we're surprised that nothing is going right and that customers are staying away or ordering less... It's a never-ending and unsatisfying cycle.

01/11/2025: Stopped by several times for a coffee or a drink, small platters... alone, with family, or for a business meeting. After several years, I've concluded: a lot of turnover, very young servers, probably paid a pittance according to the pay scale, and the same managers rotating through the chain's establishments (you rarely see them in the dining room, not even during rush hour). In short, the recipe for toxic, cushy management that damages the city's reputation, and which should be replaced by people passionate about their work and who know how to run a business. And also, probably, they should pay them properly to avoid driving away their staff and discouraging young people from this wonderful profession. I recently remember a young woman, Lola, I think, who deserves to be a manager. Quick, professional, smiling, but stressed. You can feel the stress of the servers and the difficulties they face. People clearly come here for the setting, the proximity to the Parc Floral. It's magnificent. So it's justified on the bill, nothing shocking. BUT, the staff is underpaid and exploited. There are long delays between The moment we were seated, the moment our order was taken, and then we were served—even during quiet periods. But during rush hour, it's terrible. Every time, it saddened me to see the waitresses (and sometimes waiters) running around in all directions, left alone when people arrived in groups, without time to clear and clean the tables, constantly being called away. And with no colleagues coming to help, they had to deal with the discontent of customers who had the wrong people. I know I won't return to any of the Epikur group's establishments until the management changes. And I advise both locals and tourists against it. One of the few quality restaurants, L'Estrade, has closed; we won't find that same quality at La Rotonde, even though it has everything to be an exceptional establishment because of its location. A huge waste.
