26/01/2026: Nobody checks on you. Food takes loooong. Temperature so low you must wear a winter jacket.

26/01/2026: We were on a business trip and ate at this restaurant. It was very cold inside; you had to wear a jacket. The staff didn't seem to care about the cold. It was practically impossible to speak English with the waiter, and ordering was very complicated. The food was absolutely disappointing for the price.

05/01/2026: Disappointed by the new "brunch" format, which limits the buffet to a single meat option (chicken), the same every Sunday. A shame, we've seen more variety in meat and vegetables. The flooring is aging, the tiles are badly damaged, and it desperately needs replacing. Not to mention the chairs and tables, which are very worn. The view of the lake is lovely, but the sill along the bay windows is dirty and needs cleaning. Sitting at table 21 with a large fan at the foot of my chair?! The buffet itself, however, was well-prepared. Given the price, we expected better service.

01/01/2026: A very disappointing experience. The welcome and organization were nonexistent, and we felt rushed from beginning to end. We arrived at 9:15 pm (as requested by the restaurant when we made the reservation), and were quickly informed that they would be closing at 10 pm, even though this hadn't been mentioned during the booking process. As a result, the buffet was almost empty, the selection very limited, and our meal was rushed through in less than 30 minutes. For €35, the experience was far from satisfactory. Luckily, it was a gift certificate. I do not recommend it.

18/01/2026: We had already visited a year ago and were delighted. Since the change of ownership (about six months ago), the quality has declined: a very limited menu, excessive prices, and disappointing dishes. Despite speaking with the chef, no compensation was offered. It should also be noted that two of the four of us felt unwell after the meal, which significantly marred the experience. We will not be returning.

15/01/2026: A very nice place with very tasty food, a good solution for those who sleep at the nearby hotel or in town, there aren't many options.

15/02/2026: A very good experience at this restaurant. From start to finish, nothing to complain about. The staff was incredibly attentive and caring, truly focused on the well-being of the customers. We had the table at the back of the terrace with the small outdoor heater. The lady was very kind and friendly, as was the young woman. The appetizers were good, and the main courses were excellent. Perhaps the mussels were a little too greasy, but still very good. The desserts were also very good. Thank you to the team for their smiles and professionalism. An experience far removed from the negative reviews I've read…

24/11/2025: A truly dog-friendly restaurant! We came with our dogs, who were welcomed with a small biscuit each and a large bowl of water. This thoughtful touch was very important to us, and we truly appreciated it. Our meal went perfectly; the dishes were to our liking, and everything was very pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant. The meal was perfect, and the service was excellent—nothing to complain about! We will definitely be back…

16/01/2026: We 100% recommend this restaurant, why? Authenticity, simplicity, fresh ingredients, real people. Delicious pizzas. Even though the price is a bit high, this restaurant is worth it and we recommend it. A little tip that made us laugh: A monthly Spotify subscription costs €20 and avoids ads. 15/01/2026: A very mixed experience, to say the least. The pizzas were quite sparsely topped for €19… The service was appalling and we were over 30 minutes late… and to top it all off, it was cash only for 10 pizzas…

13/12/2024: excellent accueil, service parfait, le chef vient vous saluer et prendre de vos nouvelles, même pour une première fois. Une belle expérience culinaire et gustative. mention spéciale pour la terrine riz de veau tiède (!), le lièvre à la royale !

16/11/2024: Un régal. Tout était délicieux : tempura de langoustines en amuse-bouche, tourteau avec jus légèrement acidulé, accord crème – écrasé de pommes de terre – caviar – fumé au bois de hêtre, Saint Jacques parfaitement cuites avec truffes blanches très odorantes, Soufflé pistaches dans le lequel on plonge un sorbet griotte. Que de saveurs, sans que la cuisine soit inutilement compliquée. Bon vin. Service parfaitement attentionné, sans être envahissant ou guindé. Tout est fait très intelligemment. Seule ombre au tableau, quelques tables d’américains où les convives « braillent » au lieu de parler doucement (sont-ils tous sourds dans ce pays ?). Toutefois le restaurateur n’y est pour rien. Lorsque le restaurant aura besoin d’une rénovation, il faudra travailler l’acoustique pour baisser le niveau sonore … ?

02/01/2026: There's nothing to say: we ate well and relaxed, which was exactly what we wanted after a stroll along the seafront. The service was excellent; the waitress who served us was truly friendly and welcoming. The food was good and perfect for a snack. We'll definitely be back if the opportunity arises.

24/01/2026: Drawn by the light, we went in... The owner didn't welcome us to our table, but pointed it out! Oh really... Her family was at the next table, talking loudly; the whole restaurant could hear their conversation! And the walkie-talkie to the kitchen wasn't very elegant, even though the decor was otherwise warm! What a shame... Because the chef is good, really, the food was beautiful, original, and generous! Nine oysters for €18 is expensive, especially since the restaurant next door charges €15 for them! In short, they need to improve to take things to the next level, keep trying! That's what's missing from the dining room...

10/11/2025: I don't understand the bad reviews. We arrived unexpectedly at lunchtime today, a group of 10. We were very warmly welcomed and served. The meal was very good, and the prices weren't exorbitant like in some other establishments at Mont-Saint-Michel. If we're ever in the area again, we'll know where to eat.

09/11/2025: Contrary to previous reviews, the welcome was warm and very friendly. The galettes were excellent, the service was fast, and the atmosphere was great. The value for money was perfect. We had a wonderful time.

13/02/2026: A very good impromptu meal at Boris's. Warm welcome and quality food. The atmosphere was calm (it was the beginning of service). I highly recommend it.
