06/05/2026: Excellent fresh cassoulet, but a big disappointment with the duck foie gras Hello, In October, while passing through Castelnaudary, I purchased an excellent fresh cassoulet and a jar of whole duck foie gras from your store to eat for the holidays. See photo and references. This preserve turned out to be completely bland and very pasty. Is this a batch issue or was seasoning forgotten in the lab? 23/07/2026: A very nice restaurant. The back terrace is really pleasant and allows you to eat in peace and quiet, away from the street. The waitresses are very friendly and the dishes (octopus pita and vegetarian tartare) were very good.

21/07/2026: We had a wonderful time, impeccable and attentive service, tasty and beautifully presented food, all under a shaded terrace to the sound of cicadas, a great discovery!! I highly recommend it.

17/06/2026: This hotel far surpassed my hopes and expectations. Websites can oversell a place with camera angles and photo edits and I was prepared to be slightly underwhelmed by L'Arlatan. Instead, I found that the hotel, restaurant, bar, and grounds were so phenomenal that the website actually undersold the space. It’s even more incredible in person. Everything was perfect - the comfort, coolness, and beauty of the rooms, the kindness of the staff, the stunning gardens and the phenomenal restaurant. Every detail is thoughtful and perfectly executed. I thought Arles would be a quick trip while passing through Provence but instead I’m already planning my next visit just so I can stay at L’Arlatan again. Thank you for an incredible experience!

This is due to the superb team now running the hotel, one of the most impressive collections of professional hoteliers you are likely to find, and a blessing for this small town. The new chef is amazingly good. The wine selection (Domaine de Deves) is top notch. Whether you are dealing with Maxime and colleagues on reception, or Lara and Pierre and Sarah and colleagues in events and the restaurant, you are in truly exceptional hands. And this team is allowing the L’Arlatan’s natural advantages of location and their superb decor by Jorge Prado to shine all the brighter. Thank you for a superb experience.

21/06/2026: A mixed experience. The food is nice but quite simple, perhaps lacking in imagination. The service tries to be attentive but is very disorganized, leading to many oversights.

30/06/2026: I invited my parents to the Guinguette de la Roche in Marsac this weekend, and we witnessed something quite unbelievable... What I assume to be the owner, with all the tact that seems to characterize him, loudly called out to his waiter: "Go see what the fat guys at table 17 want." The infamous table 17, a little further away, was occupied by an elderly couple. To hear that about seniors over 80 years old is simply outrageous. No respect for his elders, no respect for his customers. The waiter left with his head down, carrying out the owner's orders. Pathetic. As for the food, it was just as bad: everything was written "homemade" on the chalkboard, but it was pure reheated frozen food. Soggy, industrial fries, tasteless dishes, meat way overcooked, all for exorbitant prices... The service was just as bad: unpleasant. In short, an establishment where disrespect and bad faith reign. Between the gratuitous insults directed at elderly people and the misleading food, it's incomprehensible how this place still has any customers. We will never return and we advise everyone against it. There are much better options in the Dordogne for a peaceful evening.

22/06/2026: The place is nice, but it's expensive for the portion size. €25 for a rather small salad is excessive. The floating island dessert is frozen beforehand. It's served lukewarm, the meringue is hard, and the base is still frozen.

22/06/2026: I 100% recommend it! The young owners are super friendly, as are the waitresses, who are always smiling and welcoming. As for the food, I have absolutely no complaints: everything was excellent. It was my first visit, and honestly, I'll go back in a heartbeat. Don't hesitate to go; you won't be disappointed! 😊

11/06/2026: Arriving at 9:30pm and finding there's nothing left to eat, we take the leftovers, an appetizer, a main course, a piece of bread and a drink, €27 for a truck stop that we only want to see on the motorway, well, that's shameful.

22/04/2026: A pub called Guinness Serving Guinness with an unsuitable tap Honestly, not good, especially at €8 a pint! The answer: the Guinness had no taste, no texture in either the beer or the head, nothing like a Guinness. If it's not the tap, then your keg is watered down; I can't see any other explanation.

02/04/2026: The bartender's behavior was unacceptable; she was outraged that my mother-in-law wasn't drinking alcohol in the middle of the afternoon simply because she was in a bar! At what point in 2026 do we question someone's choice not to drink alcohol?

13/07/2026: A great time on the terrace. The burger was fantastic, and so was the atmosphere. Always open and always welcoming.

13/07/2026: A fantastic place in Lectoure! The atmosphere is friendly, the welcome warm, and the staff are lovely. The dishes are delicious, generous, and made with quality ingredients. You'll feel right at home, whether you're just having a drink or sharing a meal.

15/06/2026: We've been here several times and the experience is always the same: the setting is very pleasant and the food is good. However, the prices are excessive considering the portion sizes. The plates are small, and we were still hungry when we left the restaurant. It's a shame, because even though the food is good, paying so much for such a small meal doesn't make us want to come back.

18/03/2026: It's a shame the night was disturbed by a strong smell of cigarettes which we reported to reception and the noise for part of the night from the machinery that was tarring the tunnel exit.

The telephone reception was excellent; you could hear the smile of the person on the other end. The welcome on-site was perfect, regardless of the team member. Thoughtful touches that made our stay special. Thank you for this wonderful stay.
