12/08/2026: A truly beautiful spot with panoramic views. The restaurant at the Mayeres refuge was fantastic, with a superb, generous, and delicious menu – everything was perfect. The welcome was warm, and even the large, very affectionate sheepdog was there. A huge thank you for everything; we will be back – the families from Sallanches and Angers. Have a wonderful summer in your beautiful mountains.

The burgers are simply delicious, generous, and prepared with care. 🍔 You really feel welcome, with a friendly and warm atmosphere. A big thumbs up for the quality of the burgers and especially for the wonderful energy that makes all the difference. An address I highly recommend; we will definitely be back!

21/10/2026: A regular customer of this restaurant. My partner and I frequently invite family and friends. Unbeatable value for money and a great atmosphere. The dishes are expertly prepared by a chef who works with fresh, high-quality ingredients. They also offer a variety of suggestions and can even accommodate last-minute requests (religious, allergic, etc.). The owner is a real character who knows when to fade into the background. He's very attentive to his customers' well-being. As an added bonus, the owner always offers complimentary appetizers, and if you ask him nicely, he'll even give you peanuts for your aperitif. Several set menus are available: starter + main course or main course + dessert for €25, or starter + main course + dessert for €30. I highly recommend this restaurant.

25/09/2026: Google info differed from our experience. Two things were accurate, though: plenty of parking spaces and fast service. The meat was mediocre, and the side dishes were still below the average French standard. We saw a French couple complaining about the quality and the food, and they left the restaurant before dessert, following an unaccepted complaint about the escargots. My wife left the main course untouched.

10/07/2026: Found it quite unexpectedly, arriving after the midday serving had been completed, but we were welcomed in and helped ourselves to a delicious range of cold foods prepared as accompaniments to the main courses. They were fantastic, tasty and so healthy too. Highly recommend.

We had to ask three times for a second aperitif before it finally arrived. This lack of attention persisted throughout the entire meal. My husband only eats fish and doesn't drink alcohol. During a phone call, I had specifically asked if they offered fish, and I was assured they had a non-alcoholic fish dish. Upon seeing the menu, we discovered that the only fish dish on the menu was prepared with alcohol… We then suggested a simple solution: to change a fish-based appetizer to a main course, while paying an extra charge. A perfectly reasonable request, but one that seemed to cause a real headache. Fortunately, the youngest waitress, who was friendly and professional, eventually found a solution, as initially, everything seemed impossible to the rest of the staff. When my husband's dish arrived, I simply asked for an extra order of fries. Another waitress, particularly cold, looked me straight in the eye… without even responding. As a result, we're still waiting for our fries! And let's talk about the main course: €24 for two slices of smoked salmon and eight asparagus spears, without the fries we ordered. I understand that the price goes up, but at that price, you'd expect a more generous portion and a minimum of attention to the customer. I don't understand where the sense of service and business has gone. We weren't asking for the impossible: adapting an appetizer into a main course and serving a portion of fries. What's so insurmountable about that? Between the lack of flexibility, the interminable wait, the ignored requests, and a very disappointing price-quality ratio, this experience was a real letdown. 19/10/2026: A calm and welcoming atmosphere, pleasant surroundings near the port. The sun is lovely on the terrace. Excellent service and food! Don't hesitate to stop by.
