10/02/2026: Pleasant atmosphere with nice staff. No more expensive than the same area other mountain restaurants. Good was good. Would go again. Also non-skiers can get there to join skiers.

22/02/2026: This is simply my favorite restaurant in Nantes. The cuisine is original, flavorful, perfectly executed, and daring too (serving a dessert made with parsnips or beets, I call that daring, yes). Simply a delight!

20/02/2026: The setting was lovely, and the menu was varied. The main course, squid and greens, was very good and well-balanced. However, the starter (the pork gyozas) lacked finesse, and the pastry wasn't supple. The dessert was decent with a nice presentation, but the taste wasn't memorable. Overall, a good restaurant.

21/02/2026: We visited as a family and had all three courses there, and all of them were excellent. I have never had such a delicious steak as the one I ate there. There was also a very good selection of wines. The service was outstanding as well; the two waiters were very well organized and very attentive. If we are in Paris again, we will come back.

20/02/2026: After having been to multiple fine dining restaurants in Paris, L'Ambroisie is probably the best so far. Despite not having the typical tasting menu, the à la carte experience is just as astounding. I decided to skip the Appetizers since none of them appealed to me so instead, I had 2 main courses and a dessert. For the first main, I got the Turbot and I would say it was good if not the best. I've had a spotless version back in London and this didn't quite live up to the mark. Still, the sauce and the ravioli accompanying it elevated the dish to another level. The 2nd main was the Lamb in 5 expressions, and this was probably the best meat dish I've had in a Michelin star setting. It was outstanding in almost every aspect. I'm not a fan of cold foods like the carpaccio, but I'll make an exception this time. The 4 other techniques were simply extraordinary!! Finally for the dessert I had the William Pear and again - Sublime! Both the lamb and the pear courses were pure works of art! The mignardises after the dessert were equally impressive. Truly magical! The only thing I noticed - all other tables had bread and butter served and I wasn't! I hope it's because they forgot. Was going to take off a star here but given the amazingness of the luncheon, I'll let it pass.

27/01/2026: I've been coming to La Galinette for years and I enjoy their food. However, the service wasn't up to par on my last visit: the waitresses have apparently been instructed not to change cutlery when changing courses, and despite my request, two different waitresses refused to change my knife, which therefore remained the same for vegetables, fish, and meat... I find this a bit unacceptable for a Michelin-starred restaurant, and I had to clean the knife myself with bread... this isn't a campsite bistro!

21/02/2026: A first for us tonight; a welcome and service worthy of a Michelin star... Many reimagined dishes (described verbally as well) that delighted our taste buds all evening... It was a treat! We'll be back...

22/02/2026: The place is large with cozy corners. That's all. The staff on a Saturday night were extremely overbearing, aggressive, and rushed. The bar closed three minutes beforehand by the lights going out, without any prior announcement, and while we were gathering our belongings (immediately after the lights went out), the waitress whistled in the bar as if we were dogs. I understand how difficult your job is and how some customers can be difficult and disrespectful, but that's no reason to treat ALL customers like mosquitoes. We were a quiet group of kind, gentle, helpful, and polite people. You would have improved your service by being at least a little nicer; it would have made a difference.

06/10/2025: We had a very good stay in this hotel. The room was perfect, the welcome warm and very friendly, not to mention the restaurant and breakfast (all homemade) which were just excellent. We had booked a room "last minute" on the Internet, so no refund (which is normal) except that we had a problem the same morning and the hotel was kind enough to keep our room for us for another night. Thanks to them we were able to enjoy our weekend at Puy du Fou.

30/09/2025: A wonderful discovery! We had a wonderful evening, very warmly welcomed by the co-manager. Quality service, thanks to Paco for his professionalism, who paid us a lot of attention and explained the dishes very well. We had selected the five-course menu, it was simply fantastic! And a big thank you to the Chef and his team for delighting our taste buds. I 100% recommend the place, it's very clean and tastefully decorated.
