10/07/2026: The three of us ate there today. The staff was friendly and, despite our limited French, tried their best to understand us and fulfill our requests. The owner even spoke a little German. The food arrived after a reasonable wait and tasted fantastic. The burger had a perfect texture, and the fish was also excellent. The prices were perfectly reasonable for the quality of the food. The chef even came out of the kitchen at the end to ask if we were enjoying everything, which we happily confirmed. All in all, a great meal.

06/04/2026: I've been going to this crêperie for 10 years. Always excellent quality, no need for advertising; this crêperie is packed from the moment it opens. No reservations, so go and try it—success guaranteed.

05/04/2026: Crêperie located in the pedestrian zone. As its name suggests, it's decorated with lots of little teddy bears. Warm and friendly welcome. The galettes and crêpes are excellent. Around €24 per person for a galette and a crêpe.

23/07/2026: Dinner reservation using a Smartbox voucher. A supplement of €13 per person was quoted over the phone, then €16 when it came time to pay! The parking lot was full, and we were offered a disabled parking space… Unacceptable. The service was disappointing: the waitress didn't know the menu (she had to ask the kitchen for every question we had, and according to her, lemongrass is a citrus fruit…). The meal was subpar: the fish was full of bones, the sauce was far too greasy, and the dessert was dry. The bottle of white wine we ordered was served in a dirty ice bag. We felt we were being treated unfairly because we were using a Smartbox voucher. It's a shame, especially since my email sent after our visit went unanswered. Very disappointed. There are much better restaurants in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.

01/08/2026: A huge disappointment. We came for an event and, being lovers of good meat, we chose this restaurant because of its reputation. The pictures of dry-aged beef with confit garlic and smoking hay were so tempting that we couldn't resist. Well, not only is it very expensive, but it's also more than disappointing. The platter didn't arrive like the pictures we saw online. No garlic, no smoking hay. And the taste of the meat was disappointing too. I thought I simply didn't like dry-aged beef, but after trying it elsewhere, it's just Gaston's beef that disappointed me. An unpleasant aftertaste. A huge disappointment considering the price and our expectations. We went to several other restaurants afterward, some claiming to specialize in red meat, and we had wonderful meals, which only confirms my disappointment with Gaston's. Bonus: We had to ask again and again for a carafe of water to be brought to us, the waiters kept forgetting.
