A big thank you also to our server, who was very professional, friendly, and attentive from beginning to end. The welcome was warm and the atmosphere very pleasant. A truly excellent place that we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will gladly return!

01/07/2026: Just dining on the terrace while overlooking the quiet square was enough to make me feel the leisure of the trip. The food was impressive, from the plating to the fresh ingredients and delicate sauces. I will visit again.

06/07/2026: A wonderful place to discover in the 4th arrondissement, very close to the Maison Européenne de la Photographie. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, on a quiet little street, not too crowded with tourists. A new team, a new chef, but still that utterly delightful and convincing Japanese influence! For starters, a very tangy and refreshing beef tataki with fig and ginger oil, and for the main course, a beef tartare with a superb egg yolk espuma, a very attractive dish with layers of beef, seaweed, and rice. I also really enjoyed the dessert: green olive ice cream with peach pieces. I found that the common thread running through these dishes was a beautiful use of vegetables and freshness, all presented with elegance. The wines offered are natural wines, a fine selection, although the specialty remains a very interesting choice of sakes, with suggestions for each course on the lunch menu. I decided to try them and was delighted. Vingt vins d'art is truly a wonderful place that deserves to be discovered; I am still just as charmed by it on my third visit! I wish the new team all the best, especially since they are working in rather challenging conditions (a tiny kitchen in the restaurant dining room).

L'Auberge de la Vieille Église showcases local produce and the flavors of Brittany with exceptional quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal once again, with dishes prepared with care and bursting with flavor. The service is also a real highlight: a welcoming, warm, and attentive team who take the time to chat and answer our questions! A must-visit gastronomic destination for us during our summers in Brittany, which we highly recommend to lovers of fine ingredients, authentic cuisine, and local expertise!

It was a wonderful gastronomic experience; the dishes were delicious and expertly prepared. We also discovered some excellent local wines and cheeses. 19/06/2026: I wish we could unlock 6 stars. The restaurant is nestled off the Main Street, in a neighborhood right next to an idyllic church, taking us away from the bustle of the busy street. We didn’t have a reservation but they were accommodating with a wonderful spot, the menu made it difficult to choose - it ALL looked great. Excellent wine suggestion to pair with my sea bass. Already suggesting it to all my friends and network. We shall return!!

22/07/2026: Arriving late, we were treated to a cheese platter to accompany a glass of Cheverny, served with great kindness, even though the kitchen was closed. In the morning, although the establishment didn't offer breakfast, we were again served bread, butter, and jam. All with a smile... it's so rare that it deserves to be highlighted. 01/07/2026: Good, but far too expensive for what it is. There was hardly any octopus on the plate; it looked empty. The €13 "gourmet coffee" only included a mini fruit salad and a mini floating island dessert… not even homemade cake or panna cotta. Disappointing; we expected much better with appetizers at €30 and a bottle of rosé at €85.

27/06/2026: This was our first (and certainly not our last) visit to Lo Cagarol. The ambiance and decor perfectly suited our taste. We felt very comfortable. The menu (burrata, bar, or roast pork and cheese) was exquisite and prepared with finesse. Perhaps offering two different, smaller cheeses for dessert would be a nice touch.
