25/10/2026: A first visit during the storm of September 22, 2026. A coffee and a St. Philbert galette. A warm welcome from the manager. Return on September 25 for lunch. Menu with two choices for starters. Same for main courses and desserts. A pleasant surprise with one of the dishes I chose. Let yourself be carried away by the taste and flavors. The same for the dessert I chose. You have to be willing to leave your usual eating habits at the entrance of this restaurant and listen to the team's expert advice.

25/10/2026: Thank you for your warm welcome; we had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was perfect. We will gladly return to Le Comptoir.

19/10/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant, being a bit rushed before a visit. Initially, we were warmly welcomed. The quiche the waiter had recommended was no longer available, so we chose other dishes, which were quite decent. The tea served was awful (lukewarm water that smelled of chlorine). As for the owner's attitude towards his employees, it was appalling! The woman behind the bar had tears in her eyes from being constantly reprimanded, and the young waitress was repeatedly and loudly told off in front of the customers! Unacceptable behavior!

13/09/2026: Don't let the location fool you; it's the Cergy industrial zone, not exactly glamorous... However, once you step inside this concert hall, the magic happens. It's a great place to listen to music with top-notch bands.

28/09/2026: The location is okay, right next to the train tracks and directly by the sea. When the train with its diesel engine roars past, you almost drop your drink. The cocktails were far too expensive at €15. And, actually, it's against the law in Corsica to advertise drinks on a sign without listing the price. I just reacted too late. Only the meals had prices listed. The cocktails, on a separate board, had no prices. I've never experienced anything like this in 12 visits to Corsica.

18/09/2026: I came every Monday to see Inès and drink my Apple Caramel. I didn't get to say goodbye to her or how much she meant to me during these past few months. I'm going to miss her terribly. 30/08/2026: Very disappointed! The setting was quite pleasant, but the service was sloppy and the bill was hard to swallow! On the other hand, the portions were so tiny that digesting them was no problem at all. 🤣

30/08/2026: Reservation canceled by text message this morning, impossible to contact the restaurant We had booked a table for lunch this Sunday, August 30th, at 12:30 PM. This morning, we received a terse text message informing us that the restaurant would be unable to honor our reservation, without any explanation or apology. Worse still, it's impossible to reach them by phone or text message to get any clarification or an alternative. Such a lack of professionalism and respect for customers is unacceptable, especially for an establishment that claims to be reputable. We had to improvise a last-minute alternative, which ruined our day. Avoid this place if you value a stress-free experience.

09/10/2026: We were heading towards Versailles. On our way, we decided to stop in Longny-au-Perche. Charming village, what a wonderful discovery this restaurant was! Warm welcome, home-style cooking, homemade and original. A charming, old-fashioned restaurant atmosphere. Thank you to the whole team!

30/09/2026: Having lived here my whole life, I'm disappointed with the new owners (it's been a few years now). I knew the previous owners when it was always open. Now we wonder when it's even open! What's more, the people who work there are condescending. They want to pick and choose their clientele (Parisians), and the locals aren't welcome. Frankly, seeing this business closed all the time is heartbreaking for this village. Thank goodness the kebab shop and the PMU bar are open. Without them, Longny is dead.

18/08/2026: The Caesar salad was excellent, with plenty of breaded chicken pieces; it was delicious, as was the chocolate tartlet for dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

15/10/2026: Absolutely fantastic service! But not recommended for diabetics. No way to get a filling that isn't starchy... Oh, and I almost forgot, there's a section with lots of great specialties, including Isigny caramels (to be consumed in moderation). When I was there, it was a disco music mecca :) Next time I'll have to remember to park the DeLorean next door :)

27/10/2026: A very successful first visit! The cuisine was refined and excellent, with extraordinary flavors. The service was very professional, and the setting was intimate and elegant. We had a wonderful time enjoying delicious food and wines! This restaurant truly deserves its reputation!

23/10/2026: The five-course menu, consisting of an amuse-bouche, a starter, a fish course, and a meat course, flows seamlessly together, each accompanied by a perfectly chosen accompaniment. Everything is beautifully orchestrated, and the flavors harmonize beautifully from one course to the next. The cheese platter is well worth trying. The service is very pleasant and attentive, the setting is truly lovely, and the value for money is quite reasonable for cuisine of this caliber. An address I wholeheartedly recommend, and one I will gladly return to!
