30/09/2026: The setting was pleasant and the service was available, polite, and friendly, thank you. However, the two Campari spritzes at €16 each, priced according to the cocktail menu (more expensive than a starter or dessert, €4 less than fish and chips, go figure...), didn't make us want to leave a tip, as the profit margin had already been made. A shame.

17/05/2026: We enjoyed a delicious meal here! The food is prepared with taste, the wines are tasty, and the service is great! The restaurant's ambiance makes the experience complete. The pricing is also very good. There is an à la carte option, as well as a daily menu and a special menu, so there is something for every budget and preference.

15/09/2026: A very pleasant welcome from a charming, smiling, and very professional lady. I came with my sister Margot, and we each had a glass of very chilled and delicious champagne. Margot had the beef carpaccio with salad and fries, a delight, and I had the veal Milanese with tomato sauce, a perfectly seasoned salad with Parmesan—absolutely divine! For dessert, we each had a gourmet coffee! The presentation was beautiful, and I highly recommend this Italian restaurant. It was excellent, and I will definitely return with my sister. It was a true culinary pleasure. Thank you to the whole team! 10/10

16/09/2026: A wonderful experience! The sous-chef was in charge; he's very inventive. We stayed for four days and enjoyed a wide variety of meals each day, always delicious and creative, with unique flavors (corn soup, salmon with Granny Smith apples, etc.). Furthermore, the staff is very friendly and the value for money is unbeatable!

16/04/2026: I was familiar with the one in Colmar, where I used to go near the cinema. I've only been here once so far; the Queen Victoria salad was very good, and the poached egg was perfect. The service was pleasant, and I'll be back.

16/04/2026: We arrived at 7:50 PM and waited over 20 minutes before our drinks were even served. Meanwhile, a group of four arrived after us, and we were served drinks plus a main course (there were only two of us). We are regulars at this establishment, so we were quite surprised to see that the appetizer to share, still at the same price, had been reduced by more than half in size.

15/10/2026: The restaurant at the Abbey in Ambronay is an exceptional place, with original decor and a warm welcome. The delicious appetizers and the unfamiliar dishes, offered by a general selection, were a delightful surprise, exquisitely presented, and bursting with flavor! A feast for the eyes and an awakening of the senses. The dessert and its petits fours were the perfect finale! Bravo to the chef, his assistant, and the waiter! I'll just say one thing: go without hesitation, savor the experience, and end on a high note! Thank you! Until next time!

10/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the atmosphere… well, mostly because we had to entertain ourselves. As for the rest, an absolutely memorable experience… but not in a good way. The carbonara pasta was so bland it tasted like it had been made with water. No flavor, no enjoyment. And because a meal without surprises would be too simple, we also got a little surprise extra: hairs on the fries. Apparently, it's the new house topping. 🤢 As for the service, there were two waiters: a young woman and a young man. It was very difficult to know what was making them laugh so much, since they seemed to chuckle every time a customer walked by. Perhaps some kind of novel entertainment concept: a restaurant where customers don't know whether to eat or participate in the show. Special mention, though, to the atmosphere: 5/5. We were served so well that we ended up having to make ourselves laugh. 😂 In short, if you're looking for bland carbonara, fries with a surprise extra charge, and free entertainment provided by the staff, you've come to the right place. For us, it was a first... and definitely a last. 👋

28/10/2026: I absolutely loved this lovely, welcoming place. The seasonal dishes are delicious and very reasonably priced. The service is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is charming and convivial. The drinks selection offers something for everyone at reasonable prices. The sunny terrace overlooking the Doubs River is magnificent! In short, I highly recommend it; a must-try in Besançon 😀

27/10/2026: Unpleasant service. Syrup water for €2 when it's served in a 25cl glass… Furthermore, the menu says Coca-Cola when it's fake.
