24/10/2026: Passing through on a Sunday morning, what a delightful surprise to stumble upon this place where a philosophy café was taking place with a large crowd, followed by a wonderful atmosphere. Very reasonable prices and a superb location on the banks of the Loire.

There were 27 of us, the tarte flambée was very generous, the pizzas were equally excellent, the quality/quantity/price ratio was very fair, and everyone was very happy! Special mention to the young waitress for whom it was her first night; you were fantastic!

When you ask to pay the bill a certain way and are shown the door within two minutes with a cardboard cup to finish your drink outside, it's very poor service for a bar in a tourist area on a Saturday night. I won't even mention the waitress's obvious attitude; she was clearly drunk. I've rarely seen anything like it in Nice.

18/10/2026: Ordered a glass of infused rum, surprise, dead midges at the bottom of the glass....it was only refilled after being filtered to remove the dead ones....No gesture of goodwill and no apology from the manager....a lovely waitress to compensate, but very disappointed, I did not want any extra protein in the glass.

26/09/2026: The food was delicious; the menu isn't extensive, but you can sample authentic French cuisine. I ordered two items they didn't have, but other than that, the service was exceptional.

02/12/2025: What can I say? The food was reasonably good, the service pleasant, the waiter was friendly despite his lack of formal training, and the dining room was empty while the other restaurants on the square were full. The value for money was definitely lacking. Two things really disappointed us. First, I asked the waiter what vegetables were in my dish, and he couldn't tell me. When we came back, we learned that the chef had gone home, and the waiter explained that the kitchen assistant was running the show. Second, we were refused an upgrade to a higher-priced menu because, and I quote, the waiter said, "I ask at the beginning because I don't know how to upgrade the menu when the bill arrives." So we ended up paying full price for a starter/main course plus dessert, even though a three-course menu (starter/main/dessert) was available. This is the first time this has ever happened to us.
