19/10/2026: A truly wonderful experience – hospitality is truly lived here! ☀️🌊 Even our arrival at La Voile Sainte-Maxime was special. We were greeted warmly by the valet parking attendant with the words, "I'm the valet," and our car was parked for us. A particularly thoughtful touch: the windshield was even covered with a cloth to prevent the interior from heating up too much in the sun. It's clear that someone here is thinking ahead! We were also warmly welcomed in the restaurant and shown to our table on the terrace. Before us lay the magnificent sea, the beach, and the sun umbrellas – a dreamlike setting that instantly put us in a holiday mood. The food was excellent, and the service was consistently friendly, attentive, and pleasantly unobtrusive. We especially appreciated that our dog was also taken care of. He was given fresh water without us even having to ask. 🐾 And even at the end of our meal, there was a lovely surprise: Our car was returned to us, and the friendly valet even pretended to be a police officer to ensure we crossed the street safely. A charming and thoughtful gesture that brought a smile to our faces. 😊 It's precisely these little touches that make a restaurant visit such a special experience. Everything here was perfect – from the initial warm welcome to the final wave goodbye. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the wonderful atmosphere. A visit we will remember fondly and would love to repeat!

14/09/2026: La Voile is still as good as ever. I've been going there regularly for ten years or more. The establishment has changed a lot architecturally but has managed to retain its charm, its quality both in the restaurant and on the beach, and its level of service. An excellent place to spend a pleasant day.

30/09/2026: While staying in the Bay of Somme, we discovered this restaurant one evening and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent mussels with samphire. We returned the next day and tried other dishes. Just as good. The service was impeccable. A restaurant not to be missed in St. Valery.

25/09/2026: Very unfriendly service. We just wanted to make a stop for a morning coffee. First it took a long time for them to take an order, then she didn't understand what we meant with "Cappuccino". The man came to help and was very unfriendly about us not being allowed to just order a drink and that we had to sit at the bar instead of outside. When we tried our best to order cappuccino in French again, he got annoyed and said they didn't have cappuccino. We ordered normal coffee instead. The man kept giving us an angry side eye a couple of times, and ignored us whenever we wanted to ask something. It took a long time before we could pay and had to ask multiple times. The owner didn't say thankyou or bye to us. Very unfriendly staff, and felt like we were looked down upon because we were tourists and not locals.

05/10/2026: We received a very warm welcome! A great find for a peaceful meal in this touristy area. This little restaurant is just a few hundred meters from the bustling center of Kaysersberg. This means we enjoyed an equally delicious meal in a more relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. And all at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it!

02/10/2026: A wonderful discovery by chance! A warm welcome, a very friendly and attentive chef who readily accommodated my requests. I ordered the chateaubriand: excellent meat, perfectly prepared. Absolutely no complaints, I highly recommend it!

08/07/2026: It is a cozy bar where they serve small dishes. We ordered a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board. They only serve good wine from Corsica and everything else a bar has. The price of the wine is between 33 and 60 euros. The vibe is relaxed with a beautiful terrace. We arrived here around 11:30 PM.

15/06/2026: I'm giving it one star because the food was decent, but I don't understand why no one complained about the service. My husband and I ordered three plates of tapas and wanted dessert afterward, but after waiting 45 minutes without our plates being cleared, we got up and paid ourselves. I should mention that the servers were right next to us since there weren't many other customers. First and last time; maybe it appeals to tourists...

17/10/2026: Visiting Sarlat for three days, we were recommended by the manager of La Bayardine. The entire meal was excellent, from the onion soup to the exceptional and delicious cassoulet. The duck shepherd's pie was divine and I highly recommend it! The staff were welcoming and friendly, with a touch of humor 😅 The setting is magnificent, right in the heart of the city. I recommend you try Mamie's meals! We will return with pleasure and enthusiasm! What a treat!

11/10/2026: Superb place, excellent menu, the trout, the foie gras, the duck parmentier, the homemade cassoulet, the pear tiramisu, everything was really very good! Impeccable service, thank you to the lovely waitress and her colleague.

20/07/2026: Excellent three-course meal with three choices for each course. Really well-prepared and presented with taste and finesse. The menu changes every five weeks. We dined on the terrace overlooking the Seine. It was truly lovely. The owner is very welcoming and does everything to ensure you have a pleasant experience in his restaurant. Unbeatable value for money.

13/04/2026: We came for lunch on a Thursday. The service was excellent and the value for money was superb. The dishes were well-prepared and the portions were generous. If you're passing through Arlanc, I highly recommend it!

30/09/2026: "Welcome to Bi Ur Arte, the only place where you pay half your salary to be humiliated like in a survival course. You barely sit down before you don't even have time to breathe: the waiters swarm you like vultures, forcing you to order drinks. The harassment starts immediately, with no respite. As for the food, it's a complete disaster. It's bland, sloppy, and their sense of timing is pure comic genius: the bread arrives on the table only after everyone's plates are completely empty. The excuse of the century? 'Sorry, it was in the oven.' They must have sown the seeds and waited for the harvest in the kitchen; there's no other explanation. But the highlight of the show, the gold medal for sheer contempt, goes to the waiter. The guy comes to ask us if we're going to pee, using the excuse that he's cleaning the toilets, and then seriously warns us that if we go, we'll be the ones mopping up afterward!" And, staring at my dumbfounded gaze, he continues without batting an eye, telling me that anyway, I have "the profile for washing dishes." Excuse me?! I pay top dollar to swallow your disgusting concoction, and as a bonus, I get a career change to dishwashing? In short, cafeteria food sold at three-star prices, served by insolent clowns. If you're a masochist and you enjoy paying to be insulted on an empty stomach, go for it. Otherwise, move along. It was clearly better with the old team.

22/09/2026: Getting a sit was fairly easy if you arrive a bit before lunch time. The service was a bit slow or maybe it was just that it was a Sunday and they were understaffed. Would have given it a 5/5 if not for that or the fact that they only have Pepsi (no coca cola). The food was great. We all ordered burgers. The triple smash was very very good. Really recommend it!
