23/07/2026: The terrace on the embankment is really great and sunny until late in the day. However, the staff isn't very accommodating: there were two of us, and we ordered a liter of beer during happy hour, thinking it was a pitcher. The waitress brought us a large 1-liter mug of beer. We admitted our mistake (even though it wasn't indicated anywhere, and the waitress didn't seem surprised that we were only ordering one beer) and asked for a second glass to share. The waitress flatly refused... especially since the mug wasn't properly washed. A real shame for such a nice location! On the other hand, the drink prices are very reasonable, particularly during happy hour from 4 pm to midnight.

20/07/2026: Despite a very pleasant terrace, the same cannot be said for the owners and the overall atmosphere. We witnessed several instances where the owner made inappropriate remarks to one of his employees, who was on the verge of tears. When we expressed our shock, we were met with vehement responses claiming that "we don't know the context." Unfortunately, we believe that no situation justifies speaking disrespectfully to employees, especially in front of customers. This kind of behavior should no longer be tolerated in 2026.

23/05/2026: Excellent restaurant, where the meats are of very high quality, and the pizzas are cooked in a wood-fired oven. The staff is incredibly attentive, offering kindness and helpful advice. The chef even came to greet us, offering suggestions and checking that everything was perfect. The aperitif was delicious, the beers were excellent, the dishes were succulent, the enormous rib-eye steak and the pizza were perfect, paired with a very good wine, and the desserts were equally impressive. Perfect from start to finish!

07/07/2026: We ended up here after walking around Epernay all day and were unpleasantly surprised. We saw a nice menu with a starter, main course, and dessert and ordered it, but with the exception of one starter, everything was quite disappointing in terms of taste, and sometimes we couldn't even finish it. We also only received two pieces of bread in total. The wine was good and the staff friendly, but simply not present often enough in our opinion. Not really recommended, as it was also quite expensive for what we got.

30/06/2026: The food was good. Not overdone, but good. The staff were attentive and the service was prompt. Good wines. The atmosphere gets 3 stars because we found it a bit impersonal. Furthermore, we find the less touristy spots to be a more enjoyable experience. But then again, I am a tourist myself, of course.

07/07/2026: Mentioned in Gault Millau and more than worthy. Very tasty ice cream, beautiful sundaes/configurations. Sorbet is also top-notch. Staff are also very friendly and pleasant.

29/06/2026: Fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly attentive, nothing to complain about. The room was adequate; a nice improvement would be the addition of mosquito nets :) We found the meals excellent and varied. I'm already looking forward to returning to this establishment next year to enjoy many more half-peaches ;)

29/06/2026: We dined at the Auberge de l'Espinouse with a group of 56 people. Everything was ready on time, the meal was excellent (with a special mention for the starter, which was divine), and the service was pleasant and efficient. I would gladly return with my family, and I highly recommend this place if you need to organize meals with groups.
