30/09/2026: Friendly, efficient, and the food is good too. I wouldn't hesitate to return to La Joconde.

13/09/2026: A wonderful discovery far from the main roads. The menu is short but varied, offering well-prepared and beautifully presented homemade dishes. We were even treated to some excellent amuse-bouches (foie gras crème brûlée). The waitress was welcoming and her service impeccable. The prices are reasonable. In short, a great restaurant in the heart of the Beauce region's culinary desert.

16/07/2026: The bakery has been under new management for a few weeks now, but the bread is overcooked, the specialty breads are expensive and don't keep very well, and worst of all, there are no pastries, not even on Sundays! It's a shame.

19/10/2026: A wonderful time at Le Jardin des Consuls! We dined at this restaurant during our last stay in Sarlat in September, and we received a very warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the service was attentive throughout. A special mention goes to JC, our waiter, who took care of us from beginning to end. He was exceptional and made our stay a truly memorable experience. A huge thank you to him! We highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks to JC, we will cherish the memory of our last day in Sarlat and of Le Jardin des Consuls.

12/09/2026: The waiter Georges was very kind, laughed with us, and kindly opened the awning to shield us from the sun without us even having to ask. My stomach is full of his fried sausages and two pints of Sylver French beer, and I'm sinking back into this Parisian atmosphere.

06/10/2026: The food was delicious, but I noticed the chicken was a bit dry, and the price per portion was somewhat expensive.

29/09/2026: A complete disaster! They've changed everything. The sandwiches are smaller and less filled, and the tables are rarely cleaned. Honestly, I don't mean to be mean, but I strongly advise against it. It's really not worth it; the price-quality ratio is terrible.

25/09/2026: Leaving Valergues just for ice cream might have seemed suspicious, but our sweet tooth won out. Luckily, the waiter was so lovely and attentive that we almost stayed for the evening service. The ice cream was exquisite, and the service was exceptionally kind, especially on this weekend. A perfect stop that almost makes us want to plan another trip.

29/08/2026: Very slow service, the cocktail had no taste, very expensive for the amount in the glass, toilet not very clean.

17/08/2026: €2 for whipped cream – the picture speaks for itself!! €4 for a scoop of ice cream… Thieves! Avoid this place!!

06/10/2026: Excellent meal! We shared a lobster with zucchini tagliatelle and mashed potatoes! The foie gras was delicious! The staff is very welcoming and friendly! I was really very happy with this lovely evening…

11/10/2026: Having a beer in this pleasant setting is pure bliss... the staff always give a very warm welcome. The terrace is nicely shaded, which is very pleasant at this time of year.

11/10/2026: An absolutely appalling experience! We were greeted with unbelievable rudeness and aggression. We simply wanted to buy some bread in the square, but we were treated like dirt, without any respect or courtesy whatsoever. Such a lack of manners is simply unacceptable in retail. Respect for customers and politeness are the very foundation of this profession! I sincerely wonder how someone capable of behaving this way can work in retail. There's a difference between enforcing rules and treating people with such contempt. A completely unacceptable attitude that makes us absolutely not want to return!

21/05/2026: I booked a set menu for an overnight stay. I sat down at 7 pm. I left the table at 11 pm; they had completely forgotten my starter and dessert. The food itself was good, but the apologies were weak. I found the service very disappointing.

07/05/2026: Here are a few definitions that some staff members clearly need to review at the start of the day: "Respect: a feeling that leads one to show consideration for someone because of the value one recognizes in them." "Professionalism: the professional nature of an activity." "Courtesy: refined politeness." Unfortunately, none of these concepts seemed to be present during our visit. The attitude of some employees was particularly inappropriate, with an unpleasant tone and completely unsuitable behavior towards customers. I very rarely leave negative reviews, let alone one-star reviews, but this experience was truly shameful. A minimum of respect and courtesy should be the foundation of any establishment open to the public. It is unacceptable to treat customers this way.

15/08/2026: I don't know the shop in Bayeux, but I discovered their stall at the Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue market. The person running the stall is very friendly. There's a chance to try several products: organic flour, local ingredients used to make the products (milk from Saint-Lô, cream from Isigny). The flan is excellent, as are the breads. Every Saturday I try to discover a new product. See you soon! I recommend it. Thank you very much for reading and responding to my comment. Very disappointed by your savory pastries, both the fish and chicken ones. The dough wasn't risen and was undercooked, sticking to the aluminum mold. They're still €5.95 each! I don't recommend them.

12/07/2026: The bakery has a stall at the Merville-Franceville market on Sunday mornings. The stall is attractive and the products look tempting. However, selling by weight quickly misleads the customer. The result: a generous slice of flan + a regular slice of blueberry tart = €12. I think that's really overpriced. Luckily, it was delicious.

23/03/2026: This morning's baggage check was appalling. The agents were mixing up bags of liquids on the conveyor belt, and what's more, they were rude! Some training would be very welcome! What a terrible image of France!

29/10/2026: A one-hour wait for a measly starter with three lettuce leaves that cost €15. We would have finished our dessert by closing time at 2 a.m. if we'd stayed. The waiters were neither pleasant nor helpful.

28/10/2026: I had a wonderful evening! The food was excellent. I recommend the beef fillet and the chocolate fondant dessert with a scoop of ice cream. Absolutely delicious. The service was top-notch, and the music was great too.
